Royale Haze Soil 150w HPS Closet Grow

looking great!

thats a lot of stem stretch tho mate and i see so much shadow! nothing you can do about that?
i guess there isnt really much you can do this close to finishing?

i would seriously try and add some 2700k cfls if your heat can manage it.

I would love to try and get more light in there but I have a major electrical issue in this place. I am going to finish this grow and get the electrical sorted out during the cure. I have an electrician buddy that is going to help rewire the panel/find the junction box where everything is crossed. All my rooms but the kitchen are running off one breaker and it keeps tripping unless I keep things managed. If I throw the breakers for the rooms as labeled nothing goes off except the kitchen and the breaker for the bedroom takes out everything. So lesson learned on this grow is to check breaker box before beginning a grow. My electric consumption is off as well so there maybe a feed from my place running into the neighbors apartment. The 150w HPS should have been enough for this plant though so I am bummed that there was so much stretch.

Well all this great info about car batteries is interesting but I do not have the floor space to get it done. On a serious note it appears the stretch is slowing. I have had very little vertical growth the last 2 days and the buds are bulking up. I hope things continue this way. Time for me to get some sleep as I have a long day tomorrow.

What a crazy last couple of weeks. I have been so busy that I have not been able to keep up with my own journal, let alone read other ones as well. Things are going nicely in my closet. Not a ton of stretch any more but solid buds are forming everywhere. I will get a picture update in the morning. I will be on vacation the next 6 days and will be away from home. I have set up a web cam in my closet so I can check progress while I an away. I have my one trusted individual to feed on Tuesday as tomorrow is water day. I am hoping to be home in time to do the next watering but if not it will get done. I must say the switch from my initial plan of using Canna products to the BPN has been well worth the investment. I am glad I am using the Farmer's Pride as I believe I will end up with better results. I have decided that the next grow is going to be the GDP. I am looking forward to having some purple in the garden. Anyways I look forward to more suggestions and critiques when I post the pictures tomorrow.

Awesome Bro! Looking really good.

:bravo:

I have not seen my garden in person since Saturday and have heard it is looking really well. I apparently did not set up the cam correctly to see it remotely. Being unsure of exactly all of what has been going on at the grow, I am hoping that waiting until tomorrow for the feeding is correct. Worse case it is a day late and the soil dried out a ton. I am scheduled to be home on Thursday so I should be able to get a better update and photos then.

Finally home and able to update. :) Looks like stretch has stopped and buds are definitely filling out. I have noticed an area of possible health issue and will get pictures up of that later. Here are today's pictures.

yup thats a nice grow you got there young man!:goodjob:

Not much to say today. Things are generally going well. Swelling buds and very smelly in the closet the overkill sized filter was a great investment. All I know is the plant looks happy and perky.

You are always better with too much rather than too little :thumb:

Definitely the best investment. No sign of what I am doing, which is perfect for what I have going on.

UPDATE: Day 44/70 Estimated Harvest Date: September 22-29th

Have some really nice colas. Starting to see a few hairs turn color Probably about 2-3% so far. My feeding schedule has changed a little. I am doing a full feed then a 50% feed 50% water rotation and so far have no sign of lock out from salts or nute burn. Humidity has been a little scary at lights out though... Hitting 60% but lights on it is staying at 40-43%. Temps have been great 70-79 degrees. Overall no issues what so ever on this grow. Pictures to follow.
