Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

You'll wake up the first couple mornings with this sinking feeling that there's no more plants growing under your roof, and then you'll get over it and appreciate the free time. :cheesygrinsmiley: You'll have no lack of things to claim your attention, I'm sure.

When do DDA's usually start to get their color on average

This is sad, but I read that and realized I've never paid attention to when this happens. I bet Luke knows. :laughtwo:

There's no lack of things that need doing. Grrrrr.

Idle hands do the devils dirty work!!

That's right up my alley. :)

In my garden it is usually around day 40-45 IIRC. I'd have to dig out one of my DDA notebooks to say for sure. I'll dig if it's of importance.....tomorrow. :)

Do me a favor and leave a post on that on the DDA thread? Next one I'll keep track. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I didn't get a round tuit until late this evening, but JK1 did get chopped today. 836g wet. ;) That's a total of 1308g wet from two plants in 90 days under 600w.

Lights are off, pump and fans are quiet. The Roost is shut down for the summer. <sigh>

I'll still be around but there won't be any garden activity here until mid Sept at the earliest. :thankyou: to everyone that has taught, encouraged, and hung out with me. I wouldn't be inclined to share if it wasn't for y'all. :thumb:

:passitleft:

I'll check my notes tomorrow to be sure. If you don't see it by tomorrow evening give me a smack in the back of the head to wake me up. :)

Thank you Mr. McCain, for a delightful season of gardening joy. I look forward to the next installment. Feels like a chunk of you is missing, doesn't it? Relief to have the freedom from the daily chores mixed with that sense that something's wrong because there are no plants growing, no whirl of the fans underlying the peacefulness of your home.

We're a strange lot aren't we? Lol! People who don't grow have no understanding of the effect the plants have on us. I swear they communicate with my cells. :laughtwo:

Thank you again Luke. :hugs:

Well it was an easy find on the dda purpling. It stayed on my mind all night because I didn't sleep. There wasn't near enough noise in the house. :biglaugh:

People won't believe it, but growers and those close to them know, just having the garden instills a calm in us. If I gave away all my harvests without partaking, I'd still be in a better place than without cannabis altogether. :)

So true. We need them as much as they need us.

I keep giggling about this. :laughtwo:

Lets test your theory....give me your harvest. . . . . .

Been dreading this day. I'll miss hanging out at the roost, man. When did you say you start back up? I'll mark my calendar. Congrats on the big numbers. Some day I'll get there.

Dammit! Another tempting strain to explore. I'll have to track that seed breeder down now. :thedoubletake:

Awesome thread, I'm still back on page 25 or so, trying to catch up! I'm subbed and enjoying the company I'm keeping here.
Jugg

You're starting from the front ? :thedoubletake:  I'll save you the effort. I grew some plants, killed them, and smoked 'em. ;) Welcome aboard Jugg.

I'll be around Laz. Just won't be growing again until Sept or Oct. The big numbers are only because I have the room, anyone with 600w hps and enough head room to grow a four ft plant can do it with the right genetics. :)

I was, and it appears you've jumped feet first into it this morning. Hurry up and start another one so I can see how they react to topping. :high-five:

I'll see if I can put them in touch with you Sue. :) The last time I heard from them there was something about a boat, vacation, and six month search for new genectics. Ergo it might be Aug before contact is made. :Namaste:
