They are yoyo hangers. When the plants get tall and top heavy I have to have a way to keep them stationary. Otherwise they have a tendency to shift in the basket and want to flop over. Truly first world grower problems. :)

Gotcha. Yup... boohoo.
The 2Ls I use get SUPER top heavy. I call these Weas's butt plates.... he gave me the idea therefore must suffer.

I sort of promised to get some Short Stuff Auto Jedi Kush photos up tonight. So here you go. Last night after lights out, Day 70.

Pungent isn't the word. It's a mix of pine-sol disinfectant and something with a funk to it. The funky odor all the time, the pine-sol when reaching in or moving them around. I snipped one of the weaker lower buds today. :) I couldn't help myself, I've got IFF, Itchy Fiskers Fingers. :rofl:

I literally chuckled at the Itchy Fisker Finger!!!!!! Caught me funny! Good one. Intersted to hear the flavor/effects. I vape most of my herb so Im all about flavor. :volcano-smiley:
 
Gonna drop by for a while and grab a seat... I'm looking to do a small DWC system, and I'm looking for advice. I want to use an 18 gallon tub (x2) and go for two plants in each. I like the idea of portability, and I'm not looking for a huge haul. Two plants have been getting me by for the last couple of years, and I'd just like to have some extra for experiments with RSO and bubble hash.

Go ahead and pull up a chair. I'm not sure I'll be here much longer this season, as the DC are very close and the JK can't be too far behind. :) But I'll help you out where I can.

Speaking of the DC being close.... They are on a water only diet and I'm doing nightly trichome patrol. :rofl: I won't be doing another water change on them, just topping off. I can't imagine them getting any larger. They are both being held up by yo-yo hangers preventing them from flopping out of their baskets. Hopefully I'll see some amber soon and break out the Fiskers. ;)

Get outside y'all. Enjoy life. Explore. Don't let the pressures of life drag you down. We only get one chance, if not now...when? :Namaste:

 
I'm gonna hate to see this one come to a close. You best be planning one for the fall after you're done running all over on that motorcycle and the heat breaks. Sure has been fun visiting. :hugs: :Love:

Pl... pl...plan ? :thedoubletake: :rofl::rofl: Unless I put it to a poll here I won't know what I'm going to grow until I drop 'em. I've got five new Mephisto strains that just arrived, and maybe 14 or 15 other strains too. Not counting the SSDC which definitely will get another run in one of the upcoming grows. :)

The only thing I can say for sure is... I'll damn sure be growing. :passitleft:

I have not Tead. :thedoubletake: There has only been one other grown. Under 10/14 in a quart sized container at that, and I don't remember how it smoked. The sour crack is a sit you down smoke, the dda is speed in plant form... they might cancel each other out and not be any good at all. :rofl:

Just from their size and fat bud structure they deserve another run. :)

Two of the happiest and most beautiful DDAs I've grown. I was gonna run Devil's Carnival after these, but they might have to wait while I run two more of this breeder's seeds. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was in doing the hairy eyeball, reservoir top off thing this morning and noticed that DC1 is eating herself at an alarming rate. Her water consumption is down to around a quart a day too. I haven't spotted any amber yet, but her pistils are all dark and the trichs are cloudy like Seattle. This may be her weekend to meet the Fiskers Fingers. ;)

While I was in there I couldn't help but snap a few photos too. This is how it stands on the morning of Day 78. Peace Out Y'all ! :peace:
