Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Happppyyy Saturday rifle! (Nooo really....its saturday!!) Hope your garden is green and life is good. :volcano-smiley:

Consider that those small buds will swell in time. It's not the size of the flowers, but the potency of the oils that make the determination as to whether it was worth the spot under the lights. Small flowers dripping in trichomes beat lots of flowers with minimal trichomes, yes?

I'm a size whore Sue. :thedoubletake: Since it all goes up in smoke, and I have the tolerance of an elephant, I prefer 5 or more oz per plant. If I get a 2oz plant out of them I will consider it a failure... unless it knocks me down. :goof: Which hasn't happened since I tried the synthetic stuff.

You're crazy haha
How was the synthetic stuff? I hear it's like any other pain killer.

It was nothing to play with. Paralyzed, hallucinations, and addictive (to me). I'll stay all natural from now on. ;)

Just where big pharma wants you to be! I'll stay natural myself

Sadly it's not just big pharma. There's the alcohol lobby, tobacco, moral crusaders, and of course politicians who want nothing more than an upset populace ignorant of what is really happening. And blissfully we skip along believing we are free.

How's Rifleman and that big oll hound dog doin these days? Your plants are outta this world man, kinda intimidating to even follow hahaha, like WOW!!:);) On year2 of the 5 yr plan to get on the farm and have a little slice of heaven like you got going, housing up here is all screwie these days but kinda works in our favour for finding an acreage it's just dumping our in town house for a decent profit. With things going legal up here next year I hoping to parlay a little business plan growing, something I ve found a new love and interest in like nothing before, still reading up on all the avenues to stay legit thou..... anyway, I ll be following intently for your infinite words of wisdom, or any good dog fart jokes!;):) Stay green my friend

I've often wondered what kind of pressure the alcohol industry is applying. They're a big deal down in The Big Easy and wield a good bit of power locally.

Some samples of RM Studios genetics....

DDA growing in 2L hempy bucket with 6g of Osmocote+ for nutes

2 x SSDC in one bucket being fed traditional DynaGro diet. Currently sucking down 8ml/gal which should put them somewhere in the 800's or 900's on the PPM scale

That Dark Devil is looking sweet Tead. Wait until she bursts out with deep purple leaves and buds. You're almost to that point. :slide:

I get nervous every time at this stage of growth, reminding myself that they have plenty of time to beef up the blossoms. That SSCC bucket is looking nice and bushy with the two of them in there. In soil we would expect two in one to reduce yield. Is that also the expectation with hempy, or do you have more leeway for meeting the needs of both plants?

So waiting for purple.... bring it on oh Violet Godz of Growing!

I don't think medium type has a real impact on the yield decrease. It's probably mostly caused by shading 1/2 of both plants. I might have mitigated some of the issues by training the plants away from each other... but holy geez.... they're already enormous!
All of the words I envision about the yield decrease when doubling up have nothing to do with the medium type.

Tead doing the SSDC justice. :thumb: They appear to lean toward the fat side. Mine are on day 64 and come water change day I'll be switching DC1 from Big Bud to Overdrive. I'd like to see an 85 day grow like the sour crack, and I think it's headed that way. :goof: I attempted to use my loope today. The best I can say is 70% cloudy, no amber. Their smell is sweet nectar, not a funky gene in them. :)

Just bit the bullet and ordered those autos! What do you recommend for lighting and light schedule? Hps? MH? both? 12/12? 18/6. Or switching

What did you order DnD ? My autos get run 18/6 for the entire grow, either under hps or my led. Don't even own a mh bulb. :biglaugh:
