Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Yes... I see. I wonder if they'll end up doing 3's instead of 2's. You know... instead of 2 branches at a node, you get 3.

I got that once about 35 years ago...three branches at every node, all the way up and otherwise a normal plant.

We called her Trina. We raised her to womanhood, then all had our way with her. She was good. :circle-of-love:

I would give anything to see that mutation again and capture it into a strain. I could do it today. Back then I didn't know a thing about genetics or breeding plants. I just grew whatever seeds fell off the Led Zeppelin album while I was rolling.

Peace, Hyena

DC2 will show us by Sunday morning at the latest. I'm waiting for her third node to pop open and see if it's a triple. I'm hoping it is :) DC1 has the single blade at the first and second node on one side, but otherwise looks normal. I think she is going to straighten out.

Record breaking temperatures across the country and my tent isn't an exception. I knew everything was running hotter than normal due to no Winter cold to bleed the excess HPS heat to, I just didn't know how hot. The DC and JK girls are sitting in 81°F solution. I suppose that says something for the biologicals I use. To date these have only received 15ml mgb, 9ml hydroguard and 3ml Z7 since filling the buckets about 10 days ago.

The hairy eyeball is peeled, checking pH and ppm every other day. The moment anything fluctuates I'll be on it with a reservoir change and new nutrient mix. Here's to hoping Winter like temps return before my girls get much larger. I'd hate to lose a crop to heat and rot. :Namaste:

Beautiful words HM. I'll be stealing the womanhood words. Wouldn't you give an arm and a leg for that exact album today?

Oh, you're gonna hate me for this, but I just gave one of those away to the local thrift store. I imagined someone getting really excited to find such an unexpected treasure. In decent shape too. I love thrift stores. :battingeyelashes:

Your feeding the stream of lost Led Zep.... while I may wish I was fishing in your local stream, I find similar treasures floating in my local waters.
There's actually a used record store around the corner that does vinyl all day long. Fun to stop by an walk thru the memories. I've been a Pandora user since they began. The streaming radio format misses much of the artistry involved in album creation. Pink Floyd is especially frustrating in the streaming radio music format. Plus, when it's an album you grew up with, you always expect the next track on the album....

Im a huge fan of BullMoose for vinyl.

Just got this beauty on ebay, just to hold it and remember. Brings back those wonderful days of being a teenager.

Mint condition and still has the gigantic rolling paper in it!

Those were the daze. :bongrip: A lot of stoned laughter as we rolled joints and de-seeded on album jackets.

I still roll in the same frisbee I used in 1983. Some things never change!

Hey Rifle, you doing okay? You going to get another pooch?

Peace, Hyena

I still have that same album. The paper didn't make it past the first weekend.

I'm alright Hyena. Not happy about it, but getting used to it. No more pets for me. Not for a while anyways. Unless a stray wanders in and adopts me... which is usually how I end up with extra animals. :)

Nature abhors a vacuum. Works with love too. I'd bet a nickel something will wander along to fill that vacuum when the stars are right.

0408hrs ? Really man ? Between SweetSue staying up half the night and you rising before the chickens, I always have a dozen subscriptions to catch up with. :)

There's is no doubt a mutt will wander in, or one of the feral barn cats will decide instead of terrorizing field mice it'd be more fun to stick it's ass in my face or try to trip me every step. I'm not looking for it soon. Though I do have a crow coming onto the porch for cookie pieces now. When Roscoe was with us it wouldn't get any closer than the bottom of the steps. If I ever get it tame enough to take bits from my hand I'll try to teach it to talk.

My first 'job' was taking care of orphaned animals at the Boston Museum of Science. We had a crow that had flown into some power lines..we called him Crash. He would talk to the African Grey we had all night..morning...shit, we couldnt get him to shut up :)

And good morning to you too. Good to see we keep you busy. :laughtwo:

What can we say? You give off 'cuddly' so it won't take long for some small, affectionate creature to melt your heart. :battingeyelashes:

Look, Day two! :slide:

Rifle, how are you liking tge Z7 so far? I know its hard to tell how well its working but i am liking tge results thus far. Been using ot about 3 weeks now and i have to say my roots look really good. It took most of the nute stains off and i have a ton of nice, thick, healthy white(ish) roots. I'm using it with great white and/or sensizym.

I tried to get a job at our zoo as a parrot keeper. My tendency towards profanity wouldn't have made that a good fit. :)

WooHoo, babies !

Geez, I know you retired folks have to entertain yourselves but get a hobby. Maybe gardening, oh wait, too late.

I have a hobby in Winter. It's hibernation. :biglaugh:

Ya know... I'm actually an hour behind that time... but you should be gettin yur ass outta bed anyway... lazy!
I've apparently become Weas's indicator that it's bedtime.
Are the weekend visits to with the local authorities regarding certain lakeside activities still commencing?

My time was limited, but thankfully done. At my last compliance hearing I had 750hrs service complete. My attorney filed a motion to have the rest of the service set aside, citing my regular attention to working down the hours. No ruling yet. I'm sure if I made a contribution to the judge's campaign fund I'd be done with this silliness. But what have I got but time and pride?

I haven't changed reservoirs under the hps yet, and the led buckets only once. I wasn't sure if it was my imagination or if they were actually easier to clean. I'll be breaking down two of the buckets, and harvesting DD3/4 Wednesday, I'll get a look the roots then and have a better idea. The real test is going to be under the hps where my reservoir temps have been 78°F or over since sprouting.:yikes:

Next time. :cheesygrinsmiley: Nice looking young ones. Here we go again. :slide:
