Showing sex at 21 days,, that is so fast,, you did not say what the sex was btw,, perhaps you were excited to get some males???

I am patiently waiting on a sexing as well, on two plants actually,, tried this same strain recently, two more seeds I tries, waited five weeks,, both males, yuk,, two mor near ready to show now, but takes a while to confirm sex after starting to show, I am working on earliest confirmation possible, my goal,,

I feel your pain nivek. Everytime I try to grow out some bag seed, of which I have thousands, I end up with males. It's frustrating to put a couple months into a plant and then have to just dispose of it. My four legged assistant Roscoe claims males can be avoided by going to a shelter and rescuing an animal. He claims the good karma wards off the evil male canna spores. I gotta say, he's been good for me. :)

Ya know I've read and confirmed through cannanbutter manufacturing male plants have more thc ppm in there foliage than females. And if you harvest the males just before the pollen sacks open up you get peak thc production. Instead of just tossing onto the compost pile ya know and also the main stalk cut into 6" pieces are great dog chew toys I read that on a site also and my dog LOVES them

Do like I do and when they are ready to burst open with pollen throw them in a masticating juicer and make cannabis juice out of them. Add an apple or two and some carrots and it is some yummy stuff. I do it every spring when culling the males.

Roscoe says he likes you best OB. :) Thanks for that bit of info. Nothing goes to waste here but never thought of doggie chews from stalks.

Hey Hemi :byebye: I hope your weekend is kicking. :winkyface: I love my cannabis, but I don't see me juicing it. The CEO has to force me to eat fruit as it is, and I don't imagine I'd like it any better even grassed up. :biglaugh:

My weekend is doing just fine buddy! How has yours been going?

Was test sampling an early dried bud from my outdoor grow. It's been dried properly, but has not been cured yet. Not the smoothest right now, but does give you a wonderful toasty buzz with just a couple hits. Gonna be some nice smoke once it cures. Here is a picture of the bud.


As for juicing cannabis, heck what you gonna do with a male plant anyhow. Beside you won't believe the warm feeling it gives you all over your body.

Did that bud come from that plant? And I have done a bit of juicing research and it's one of the most effective methods of introduction into the body for healing purposes. Very very beneficial any internal disorder crones, leaky gut, ulcers,lupus and many many more. Also it's been good for a (I can't remember the name) disease that causes seizures not epilepsy but a rarer form but anywho it helps them from juicing the most.

last two from my last harvest wet or dry no matter and I think teads dog is smarter than mine or maybe hungrier lol seriously tho I feel my dog knows well can sense my emotional reactions to my plants and would never defile them or cross that line. I've never even thought about to tell ya the truth. I did once meet a guy who had trained his dog to smell for weed and he would run him through his corn fields looking for gorilla growers (not him) growing in with his corn. Apparently the dog was really good at it lol

Yes indeed, that is one in the same and I have no idea what the heck it is. Just some random bagseed from something I had purchased in the last two years. Color was so dark that I am now re-vegging a couple pieces of it hope to get clones, reverse one, and make feminized seed for use another day. In addition, it had the least amount of bud rot growing outside in my very damp summer weather. So want to save her seeds for that purpose alone.

As for the juicing it is really very healthy for a person to consume all they can. I have drank as much as a liter at a time of male cannabis, apple, and carrrot juice and always feel better for it. I usually make some when I discover males or when I have some huge fan leaves I am removing from the girls at harvest. One thing I have yet to try is to make a apple/cannabis mixture then warm it on the stove for about 20 minutes to decarb it and see just how high you could get off of it. Add some spices and a shot of whisky, I can taste it already. :party:
 
Happy Water Change Day folks. :byebye: I can't complain about my hydro girls. All four have bright white roots, although the SS have twice the root mass the AU have, the AUs are ahead above ground. Day 23 for the AU and still no signs of girly parts. I added AN Sensi Cal Mag Xtra 4-0-0 to the AU feed this week, 15ml, in addition to raising the MGB to 21ml each. The nutrient ppm for the SS is around 520 or an ec of 1.35 to 1.4 according to the conversion table I have. The AU girls with the added cal mag have a ppm of approx 715 or an ec of 1.75 None of the hydro plants are drinking more than a pint a week right now, makes it so easy compared to later on. :)

The M Family is a royal pain. I broke down and built another planter as close to the ones used for the M's. It weighed in at 65g. It's taken a day or three of weighing everyday, and reading my little yellow leaves to realize rockwool will hold more water than I thought it would. Lesson learned, when using a shot glass to water young babies, do it on the scale so there is a point of reference. :biglaugh: This will be my first and last time growing in the airpots and hand watering, and I'm only 3 weeks into it. :yikes: Another four buckets as soon as this grow is done.

It's the HPS lighting. I take my photos with an Android tablet because it will automatically detect white balance and adjusts. It seems to do a better job than my camera but it's not perfect. The AU plants are still slightly splotchy and a slightly lighter green than the SS. The SS are a nice even dark green. The solo photo of SS1 above is the best representation of what they look like. :)
 
It appears I might be in Denver this weekend. Possibly in on Saturday and out again first of the week. If.....IF....it works out, does anyone have a favorite store they can recommend? Sweet. Heck if I wasn't traveling for biz I would tell you I would meet you out there. I have been craving a three day weekend in Denver, Seattle, or Portland. Let us know what great places you find as it is on my list of things to do.

I'm ready for a road trip, but alas it doesn't look like I'm getting one. The cheap flights were sold out before I got to them. Booooo! Maybe next month now that I know about the floating fare rates. :)
