Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Hemi get that journal up and running man. I had a crop circle i was going to grow but the seed was a dud and mushed up on the inside. Be nice to see what i am missing out on. Glad it was a freebie or my pain would be doubled. lol

Okay, I finally got the my first journal up and running with some Cream of the Crop "Crop Circle Autos" Should be an interesting time, growing a strain I have never grown before, topping some, reversing one with CS to collect pollen, and pollinating one with some pollen from a Dutch Passion "Auto Mazar" I reversed on my last grow. Please invite all your friends to drop on by! Link is in my signature.

It is settled. The next grow will start with a bean drop on Oct 18. The large tent will continue to run four hydro buckets, 2 Dutch Passion Auto Ultimates, and 2 Fast Buds Six Shooters under the HPS 600 -1K watts.

The small tent will be lit with the Mars II 1200 and likely be a soil or rockwool grow of all Mephisto Genetics. I hope to grow one each of their 3 Bears OG, Grape Crinkle, Skywalker, Skyrone Stomper, Sour Crack, and Sour Stomper.

I've got to make a run to the beach to inspect our rental property after this hurricane, and I might as well stay for the motorcycle event...Soooooooo, I'll catch up with you on the 18th when the beans drop.

Until then, be safe and spread peace. :peace:

Looking forward to the next grow. You are quite good at what you do bro.

Peace, Hyena

Thanks for the kind words Hyena. :) Grab that rocker over by Roscoe, the bong should be around in a few. RoorRip

Hey RM hope your rental property faired the storm OK
Sounds like you are all set for your Oct 18th grow, though I was a bit surprised to hear you thinking of a soil grow, this may be fun to watch :)

Be safe!

Thanks OG. From what I'm hearing the yard is barely even dirty. This is just another excuse for me to put a couple thousand miles on the motor before Winter drives me inside.

Since I have six airports and only one dwc tub for the small tent, I figure there's a larger harvest in whatever mild soil or rockwool croutons the local garden store can provide me than stuffing one tote full of small plants. It will for sure be a different kind of pain in the ass than my usual lazy dwc tactics. It's really a recipe for disaster. I'll have some high hopes for the Mephisto beans as 5 of the 6 were special limited release beans, add my inexperience in soil and I anticipate some disappointment. But I'll never know until I try. I didn't think I could keep one alive in a shot glass for over 100 days either. I hope you'll take one of the front row seats when the doors open on this grow OG. I'm going to need the encouragement. :Namaste:

Just about back in the saddle eh, the auto master returns. You'll do fine in soil or soiless, yields are less but still some nice high quality homegrown. I look forward to the upcoming grow season at the Roost, ride one brother... It's not that cold yet.

KiG :green_heart:cheers

Four days without electricity, and another without Internet. That's two trips a day to the local library to charge my Dewalt batteries, times four days. I almost feel edjamacated now. :biglaugh: Half a dozen shingle tabs, the solar heaters, and the pool screen were the biggest damages. No water damage. :yahoo: It must be my clean living, or karma is giving back what Felony Lake took away.:dreamy: Bottom line, all is well, everything is fixed, and the house still stands. Soooooooo, I'm headed to Main St. I'll be the cool dude with long hair, beard, and a black 420Mag tshirt. Stop me and say hello if you see me. Peace out y'all, this country boy is going for a ride. :peace:

A minor tip for the occasionally power challenged....
Get a power inverter. Cheap enough, and they give you 110v AC from your car battery.
Much easier than keeping and maintaining a generator.
Of course, you'll not pry my diesel genny out of my hands for all the tea in China... but I sometimes see some crazy extended power outages and life really sux without air conditioning.

It's that time again. :) All four beans had a tail this afternoon so they were placed into Rapid Rooter cubes and buried in the hydroton. The buckets contain 15L each of distilled H2O and 6ml of Advanced Nutrients M,G,B, B52, Voodoo Juice, and Sensizym. The ppm varied from 150 to 163 before nutrients and 340 to 366ppm afterwards. Now we wait for them to break ground. I'm hoping by Sunday morning.

If things don't go catty wampus again tomorrow I'm going to attempt to set up the 4x4 tent. You can see below that I have 6 airpots waiting for the Mephisto beans. Can hardly stand it, it's growing season again ! :goof:

Go for it rifleman! Give Roscoe his beans to produce that extra Co2!

I don't know which one of us is worse, probably me now that the vet has the old farting pooch on a strict diet. I almost feel sorry for him but it's for the best. Who knew fried chicken, bacon, and gravy would be bad for a dog?
