Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

I need to convene the board of directors and appoint a new CEO; mine doesn't pay bills or help in the garden! In fact the single auto I have going now was nearly vetoed...

You have to be careful doing that DoG. I've seen friends attempt hostile take overs and wind up not only losing their position within the corporation, but have to pay the former corporation for the privilege of not having to see them ever again....monthly payments....excessive....sell your motorcycle and eat Ramen payments.:rofl:

Hey RM hope you had a nice Easter...and fried poultry. As far as hostile takeovers, well this isn't exactly the forum to go into detail about that, so suffice it to say I'm legally protected in the event of the corporation's failure and dissolution.
With regards to the real topic of this thread, your girls are looking good man. The AL is borderline scary. Can't wait to see the mountain of nugs you pull off of her!

Happy Easter buddy, hope she was a finger lickn good weekend! RM 1-Cocky Chicken big 0 :woohoo:GAME OVER

Thanks y'all. It was a grand Easter. Nothing better than fried yard bird and good friends. :)

Monday, Monday, can't trust that day. But you can trust Rifleman to post photos of the first time his girls see the sun. Sour Crack, day 79 and the next up for the chop. I'm guessing two more weeks. Dark Devil, Day 84. I don't see her gaining any size as she seems to be stuck where she is. Finally the bottom photo is the mountain of scrub I cut and pulled from under AL's canopy. It didn't make a dent in it. :)

Better late than never! Its been a great read so far. Feels like I can reach down and give ol' Roscoe a scratch.

:goodjob:

Never late here Mouser. :) Pick out a rocking chair and relax. Let me warn you though; If you pet Roscoe stay with the head and neck. If you rub his belly it stimulates his balloon knot gas port.

Agreed!!! Very nice.

Honestly I panicked a little when I first saw it, still a bit raw from the two days of having to select each picture individually.

Fingers crossed the ability to rotate photos after uploading will be next.

Your plants are awesome Rifleman.
My father was a huge fan of that show. So much so that he changed one of my names to Lucas in the hospital. My mom was pissed but it flowed so she got over it.

Thanks for the compliment Noob. :) Late 1950s to mid 60s tv is my favorite. The perfect familys and value lessons speak to my soul. It helps they are in b & w too. :biglaugh: It must be because I'm old. :)

Short update on the screened AL. This girl is working me to death. :phew: This is not keeping with my lazy grower image. I've spent an hour each the last two nights laying on my back underneath her. :yikes: I'm slowly trimming out the scraggly sucker limbs and clearing already dead leaves. The screen is nearly visible from below now, as it should be after a half bushel trimming. :) I'm just warming up the Fiskars for the MSC who is next to meet the reaper. :)

Sure beats trimming at harvest time :)

Funny you should say that OG. It's not one of my favorite tasks. When I had the autos outside getting a good look at them the thought of NOT trimming this crop crossed my mind. I only grow for my own consumption and bag appeal is a non factor. And when I trim I just end up with a bag of sweetness that I throw in a drawer and forget about until I'm down to one strain left and I start digging around for something different. :hmmmm: Time will tell... :)

That'd be epic for sure. What I'd like is a option for "large, linked to original" rather than just medium. "Original" isn't really, there's a bigger original in the gallery.

Tuesday's gone with the wind....But I'm here with a photo dump from the screened AL. ;) I thought since I've been clearing under the canopy that I'd give you a look at it. She's filling out with bud sites and you wouldn't believe the roots. :cheesygrinsmiley: This has succeeded my expectations already. The shear size doesn't come thru in the pictures. Also included is a shot of the baby sour crack. She's 13 inches and still reaching. Like Pappy always said, "She's a keeper. " :)

Don't Forget To Click The Pic For A Larger View. :peace:
