Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Sooo I can’t remember and I’m kinda too lazy to go find the answers.... what strains are you growing again? I’m not in dwc... but man your note taking is impressive! Hats off to you sir! I dunno if I’d have the time or patience for all that!

Right now it's nearly an all Mephisto Genetics grow. 4 Assed Monkey, Sour Stomper, Blue Toof Special Pheno, and my own creation the Sweet & Sour Devil's Crack.

3-16-19 Saturday

4A+2qts
SS+4qts
BT+5qts
DC+0qts

3-17-19 Sunday

4A +1qt = 5qts
SS +3qts = 12qts
BT +4qts = 14.5qts
DC +0qts = 2qts

SS, BT, and possibly DC will get water changes tomorrow after top offs, pH and ppm readings. Stay tuned, 4A and the Fiskers are both calling my name. :nervous-guy:

3-18-19

4A +1.5qt = 6.5qts in 5 days. ppm 782, pH 6.3
SS +3.5qts = 15.5qts in 5 days. Water change ppm out 874, pH out 6.3 - ppm in 1420, pH in 6.2
BT +4qts = 18.5qts in 5days. Water change ppm out 913, pH out 7.1 - ppm in 1340, pH in 6.1
DC +1qt = 3qts in 9 days. ppm 543, pH 6.2

Harvest is just around the corner...for 2 out of 4. :high-five: 4A & BT will be done first. SS & DC aren't quite ready yet, lots of white pistils left. BT is a monster, her colas are getting so fat and heavy the branches are flopping over toward the floor. :blunt:

3-19-19

4A +1.5qts = 8qts
SS +1.5qts = 1.5qts
BT +1qt = 1qt
DC +0qt = 3qts

Yesterday's water changes were done rather late, explains why SS & BT didn't use more water than they did. I expect tomorrow for them to be back at 3qts per day or better.

3-20-19

4A +1.5qts = 9.5qts
SS +3qts = 4.5qts
BT +4qts = 5qts
DC +0.5qt = 3.5qts

4A and BT are on a water only diet. 4A looks like an orphan. Cal-mag issues and age are creeping on her hard. I expect I'll get a wild hair and chop her soon. BT isn't too far behind...soon my pet. :nervous-guy:

SS and DC might have a couple more weeks, might. It all runs together here at the end and I get in a hurry due to being impatient. Short term memory, short attention span, short uh..... look squirrel ! :thedoubletake:

I'll check with y'all later, the sun is up and my flock of crows will be here soon. Peace. :peace:

3-21-19

4A +1.5qts = 11qts
SS +3.5qts = 8qts
BT +4qts = 9qts
DC +0.5qt = 4qts

3-22-19

4A, day 86 +2qts = 13qts ppm 706, pH 7.5
SS, day 82 +3qts = 11qts ppm 1050, pH 7.3
BT, day 81 +4.5qts = 13.5qts ppm 1070, pH 6.8
DC, day 77 +0qts = 4qts ppm 531, pH 6.7

I broke out the loope and gave everyone the hairy eyeball this morning. Started plucking ugly fan leaves afterward. I'm not sure when it's going to happen but harvest is close. :yahoo:

Edit: No I'm not too concerned about the pH readings. Everyone will need water again tomorrow and I'll adjust it down a bit extra tomorrow and bring the buckets closer into line with where they should be. :high-five:

3-23-19

4A +1.5qts = 14.5qts
SS +4qts = 15qts
BT +4qts = 17.5qts
DC +0qts = 4qts

I took some close up photos of the three older girls this morning. Take a gander and let me know what y'all think. I'm thinking a water change tomorrow, and straight H2O until a chop next weekend. :nervous-guy:

4A Day 87

SS Day 83

BT Day 82

The end is in sight friends and students. 4A day 88 / SS Day 84 / BT day 82 --> were all dumped today. The buckets were refilled with 4 gallons H2O, 18ml Hydroguard, and 4ml Z7, (double doses for each) and the pH adjusted to 6.0ish. Harvest begins Friday or Saturday.

Why the extra Hydroguard and Z7 you ask, IDK, a wild hair. I dropped a plastic eye dropper in my jug of Hydroguard and it took a few weeks to get it out, but when it came out it was sparkling clean like it was new. Ergo I figured I'd try it on the flush and see if it made the after grow cleanup any easier. Besides, it couldn't hurt.

Top offs will be straight water for the rest if the week. After harvest I hope to be hitting the road. As I've said before if you see a old hippy dude on a bike offer him a toke, you never know who it might be.

Not nearly as difficult as y'all thought huh ? :cheesygrinsmiley: Be sure to tag me when you start a DWC grow. :passitleft:

3-25-19

I am kind of surprised at the top off ritual this morning. I half expected my girls to ease up on water usage, but that's not the case.

4A +1.5qts
SS +3.5qts
BT +4qts
DC -----

Thirsty to the end I reckon. Or maybe they don't know what's coming. :thedoubletake:

3-26-19

4A - Day 90. Chop day. :yahoo: 713g wet.

SS + 3qts
BT +4qts
DC --------

I couldn't find my trimming scissors this morning...ugh. I did however locate a pair of orange handled full sized Fisker scissors. WTF have I been doing wrong all this time ? Using those crappy little trimmers, that's what. :thedoubletake: Harvest and trim went twice as fast with the full size pair. So FYI, just because that's how you've always seen it done, doesn't mean that's the best way to do something. :blunt:

Last Photo of the Mephisto Four Assed Monkey. Pitiful looking huh? :passitleft:
