Tomorrow is March 1st. Any of you smart folks know the significance of that?
I'll wait over here for an answer.

Spring... Day 1. Do something colorful!
It's my brother's birthday, but I don't think that's it
Hmmmm, How do I say this politely.... you're both feckin wrong !
defections
We’re still here getting that knowledge! I do the daily top off while getting the numbers from the ph , tds(ec)ppm , water temp and top off amount . Had a screw up my kind led wasn’t so kind missed a program ,instead of 12/12 I was 12/12 on the red and blue lights and 6/18 on the white light holding it out of pre-flower for 15 days . On track now 6 days in 12/12 pistols this morning! Extra two weeks in veg filled the 5’x5’ tent , tying the girls down keeping them from the light is my challenge at this time going for the super crop. Keep your knowledge coming , I feel secure doing these grows by experienced growers like you passing what you’ve learned over the years to us newer growers. I’ve gained $ and learned what not to do . I’ve been here for 4 months now and have been enjoying every moment here . Thanks Rifleman for your help on the charts from you and Grandpa Tokin !It's March 1st folks and I'm sadly disappointed in my hydro students (any left ?).
First day of the month is always... CALIBRATE YO TOOLS DAY !
My BlueLab pH pen was off by a factor of .1 today. If you're using one of the cheap $20 Hanna pens that use the screw on the back to calibrate, start saving money for a BlueLab pen, it makes a difference.
With that out of the way I went ahead and topped of the buckets again.
4A +1.5qt = total of 3.5qt
SS +3.5qt = total of 9qt
BT +4qt = total 18.5qt since 2-24-19 <~~~water change this morning, stats below.
DC ---- due to her very small size she isn't drinking very much.
BT water change.
ppm out 767, pH out 6.4@69
ppm in 1180, pH in 6.0@70
Notice I'm only listing the pH/ppm readings taken today. If you're attempting to learn dwc you need to compare the "out" readings to the "in" readings from the last water change. Then you use those along with the chart I posted several pages back to determine if your plant needs more or less nutrients, and then you adjust accordingly.
Nuff said ? If everyone feels secure in their ability to give dwc a try I'm going to stop the daily top off reports.(they're a pita to be honest) We are just coasting to the finish anyway. Near the end I'll have to drop the nutrient levels as they stop feeding, maybe I'll tell y'all when that happens, maybe I'll just stop here and let you figure it out. What's your choice ? Feedback ? Anyone give two defections ?
See... ya get fancy and errors sneak in. Shoulda just stayed with the original shit.
Did you know that there are a good few famous defectors? Commanici, Nureyev, Navratilova, Burisnikov (probably just slaughtered all those spellings). There are many less famous ones, including a bunch of Mig pilots.
Damn... gotta cal the tools today. More things on the list.
Happy Spring, and go do something colorful.... other than deification.

Any knowledge you want to pass along I’ll be there! I’m ready for the spring also have three White Widows to put outside and finish there 12/12 of the sun! Thanks WH. Glad it's helping someone. It's about 2/3 the way through this grow and I'm getting the itchy feet of Spring. I'm tired of sitting inside tending a garden. Winter Blues makes me crabby.
The good news is I'm spending today sending four dozen wide mouth quart jars through the dish washer. Once they are all clean and dry I'm going to move my old harvests from the cVaults to the jars. After that the vaults will get cleaned for harvest. I've found it is easier to burp and level humidity in the larger containers then transfer to the quart jars for long term storage.
Thanks again for chiming in WH, I'll try to find something other than the weather and topping off buckets to bitch about from now on.
Ohhhhh! I must be on the good boy list 'cuz I does them weekly!First day of the month is always... CALIBRATE YO TOOLS DAY !
@Rifleman
Question. How come you use Advanced Nutrients 3-Part (Grow Micro Bloom) as opposed to their Sensi Grow/Bloom or their Connoisseur Grow/Bloom? Just curious b/c AN claims that 2-part nutrient bases are actually better at delivery nutrients than 3-part's?
