Rifleman's - Multi-Strain Auto Grow - 600W - Hydro

Big bud and overdrive are minimum.... all the others do work... past that if you want to keep creeping those. Ud weights up I would say bud candy and b52...

But after big bud and overdrive.... all the other stuff is bell and whistles/ just icing on the cake.... they work and your buds do get bigger and more dense though.... big bud is great you'll see a nice bud production then when you hit them with over drive... sit back and watch the swell

Looking good here sir; fine work!! +rep

I was just shopping for totes myself for my next grow as my current coolers are too shallow... Thinking the 14 gal is going to be the ticket for me; they are about 4" deeper (height) than the 10 gal totes. IMO 10 gal is too shallow by the time you figure in the net pot depth + an inch or so of air gap... Right now my plant's roots are pushing "up" on my girls; a sure sign my res is too shallow. Just my 2 cents on totes since I've been thinking about them as well.

Is it me, or do some of your leaves exhibit a little "tacoing" on that last pic? Perhaps from earlier heat stress or something.

I hope any AN additives you choose to use work out for you. I recently tried to use B-52 and Bud Factor X, but they didn't work well with my program and I believe caused the N toxicity/burn I ran into. IMO the B-52 is very "hot" for a B vit additive and high on the N side. For Bud Factor X I can't figure out what macro/micro nutrients it brings to the mix; so I won't use it any more until I can get some facts. I know lots of people have great success with AN, so not trying to knock on their line-up; I personally just haven't been impressed (yeah feel free to cuss me out :) )

Anyway brother, keep up the good work!

Thanks Atrain. I'll be adding to the toolbox soon.

@ Cogreen, yeah the last photo is of BK. She has been showing her sativa side. Small, really thin three fingered leaves coming from the buds. All new growth has been thin, skinny, lacking in width. Her top really looks bad with those leaves drooping, even after she has been asleep for her nightly nap. Not a lot I can do to help her right now, however I repositioned the fans last night to try and get more air movement. I might bend her over some tonight and see how she looks tomorrow morning. Possible the very top is droopy due to outgrowing the height of my light. Q1 doesn't appreciate all the wind in the tent either, she pouts all the time with a rough look too.

I think they will all make it to harvest...unless the hogs let the deer in to eat lunch. Ever since they started learning ASL they can use their hooves to turn the door knobs and operate the remote control. I came back from the giant eagle grocery the other day and they were in the living room watching Dr Phil and drinking my PBR. <muttering to himself> bacon, sausage, ham, and weed eating deer. it's whats for breakfast

Beautiful ladies as always.
I'm usually a little higher in the ppms on my early blooming plants. My target for that phase is 800-900.
I really rely on color as well. If the new growth is really light colored, I bump them up a bit. If it's coming out dark green, I'm near the limits. I use my ppm pen to monitor on occasion, but sometimes go several feeding rounds without using it.

What's that ad on TV.... "Bacon is a pig's way of saying 'Thanks' for a job well done". I'm digging Arby's advertising company.

Hey Rifleman!
Real quick question: How do you link your photo's to larger ones in your posts?
Thanks!

When you open your gallery there should be a pull down menu at the top. I use "medium linked to original".

Thanks Atrain. I appreciate the compliment. Care if I pick your mind for a moment? I'm using the AN PH Perfect m,g,b. As you can see the buds are just setting. What additional AN products do you consider a necessary minimum at this time? I noticed my local shop is finally stocking them when I dropped in last week, but didn't have the cash or time to shop. Tomorrow is another day. :)
Hello rifleman Im also using an products in my soil set up.I go with connoisseur series. But im in the very beginning.
I see really nice results over there.

Stayed up late last night playing poker with the rooster. More like a pigeon, he has a tell that a blind man couldn't miss. Bottom line, I won enough scratch to ride the mule to town and pick up exactly half of what the store had in stock. Woohoo Lucky Me !! :yahoo:

He probably talking about bud candy..... that shit works too... if you win another poker game pick a Liter of it up next.... can't wait to watch the swell on your girls in OVERDRIVE

I'll have to get the cows playing black jack, they can't count worth shit and the rooster is broke. :)

I am going to pass on the water usage, ph update tonight. Instead I'll tell you about an experiment I've started. I spent some time on the phone today with a support line. I told them about my records and asked if I should really have to chase ph the way I do. Here is what I was told...use your tap water, mix our nutrients into it as directed, don't worry about it.

I then asked, even though my tap water ph is over 8, and after mixing in nutrients it is only in the 7.5 to 7.7 range? Was told that was fine run with it. Well I'm here to say I don't believe it. I have a bucket that was left empty after the unfortunate murder of Q2, so it's time to put it to the test.

I dropped five bag seeds into a paper towel tonight. As soon as I see one crack it will be going into the bucket. I plant to run ONLY tap water, nutrients, and hydroguard. I will not check ph nor adjust it. The nutrient manufacturer says to use 1ml/L for seedlings, 2ml/L veg, 4ml/L full bloom. I will run a feed schedule of 50% recommended. Anyone else tried this? Care to voice your experience or expectations about it? Let's see what happens. :)

Edit: Cool temps rule ! Light went to 750w today.
Oh yeah, I don't think the experiment will make it past the 5th node IF it gets that far.

On another note, a new grower named FenderBender is facing some potential root rot in a hydro grow. If any of the regulars that follow here feel like lending a hand, please chime in..

First Aquafarm Hydro Grow

Sorry Rifleman.... I assume you don't mind a "Bat-Signal" on your thread. It's sees many more visitors than mine.
I have faith in our hydro Batman. I hope he is able to help him out in time, root rot is such a beast. Watched a ton of videos on just that one subject.
