Thanks BB. I just sit here by myself most of the time, get my attitude right, and look around at what speaks to me. Mostly it's just the animals. Hold on to that dream, one day it might come true. I was working 60 plus hours a week and hated everything in life. Then one day I happened to be at the courthouse and they were doing tax auctions on the steps. It was like a bomb went off in my brain. As i looked over the survey map I realized that I'd likely never get an opportunity like this again. House, barn, ponds, and year round running water in the form of a large creek. SOLD !!! It took another three years before I had taken care of enough loose ends, obligations, and needed repairs before I could jump out of the work force. I've never been happier. It's a lot of work, but I wasn't raised to sit around with my thumb up my a**, and I have a good woman that indulges my whims with her own strong work ethic. TBH the longer I am out of the work force and the more experience I get in running this place smoothly, the more I realize that *enough* is all we need. I get more joy from shoveling pig shit and walking a half mile to the country market for a cold pop in Summer, than I ever did working for a check and wishing for a new F250. I was never happier than as a kid running around a farm watching the adults work like mules....until now.

Keep dreaming, make preparations, and seize the opportunity. (Damn now I'm sounding like Dad. Lol)

We have so much in common dude it's not even funny, I m just around that pivotal point I think. Getting our affairs in order to get out in the country and dump the dead beatery of living in town with all its drama. Your story sounds like heaven man and I truly wish nothing but beautiful things for you and yours. It's people like you that deserve it because you appreciate it!:thumb:

Pull up one of these old wicker bottom chairs Great Grandpappy made 50 yrs ago. You have to sit in them backwards though, otherwise you mess up the decades old hillbilly patina and bottom wallows.

Just a short photo update tonight featuring our smallest girl on stage. Please allow me to show you Miss ST. An unspoiled little girl. So pure she still has her first two original true leaves. Her buds are spurting new growth since I snipped the tips off of them. That must mean she is eager to please. :) Take a look folks, but no touching or the bouncer will escort you to the parking lot. DankWolf, my potm winner was the same strain as my current big girl, a bubble kush automatic from RQS. She took about 95 days seed to harvest. So yes, it can be done. :)
 
So happy for you with Rqs. A friend and I got hermis off their autos. One thing to get one hermi, but two different locations and two different strains made us look elsewhere. But you've given me renewed hope in them. Have a 20% coupon from them I just might use now.

All genetics. She is my shortest girl and had to be boosted up into the air to see around everyone else. Her node stacking is all her own doing under 600w hps. If the smoke is good I will be producing ST seeds next time I grow it.
 
Day 66

The Roost is proud to introduce to the stage tonight a girl who isn't much on looks. She isn't a beauty queen folks, she has a big bottom and small top, and a long skinny thing sticking out of her head. Lol. But she is brave enough to get on stage and show us what she has. I forgot to mention earlier, I ran my hand through ST tonight. Top to bottom pushing fans down and out of the way. Heard and felt several break loose. There'll be more light to the tender innards tomorrow once I pull the wilted ones. Lazy man's defoliation :)
