Looking good

View from above, all doing well.

you may want to move your ballast from inside your grow area to just outside of it, it may reduce your interior temperature by a few degrees. your signature link goes to post number 20, you want the first page web link for your journal.

If you like to spend time with them, and talk and sing for them, there is one really nice thing you could do.

Make them Work out..... Yeah :D Work out!! The stem of the plant is the nutrient highway, the stronger, the better, and it will also make them stretch less!!
To do this, I just bend them gently, North, South, East and West... counting 3 seconds on each side, real gently. They will love it!

:peace:

Ya,
I have fans bouncing them around a little now. I rotate the pots to give them equal air and light. I just started a new journal for the seeds I have just started. I'm thinking of keeping these 5 in vege until the new girls catch up. I can have 12 in vege legally so might as well push to the limit, once in flower, I can have another 12 in vege and 12 in flower. Heat was an issue today, hit 83 during daylight, I have a fan sending air in from the garage area to this room. Cools it right down.
Thanks for stopping by!:thanks:

Last night, I changed over to the Metal halide bulb. I will save my high pressure sodium for flower. Running it a 50% dim, so 500 watts.
I was thinking of bumping up to 75% tonight, roughly 750 watts. Heat seems controlled, so i figure more light is better.
I both some of that white earth powder for the gnats and sprinkled on the top of the soil. It looks like it working. The Greenfields soil is loaded with them, I dont think I will be buying this soil again.
I will post a plant by plant picture update soon, just busy with my job.

Hey bro,
Seems like everything is under control! If you manage a schedule with your strain to make a perpetual cicle, your set for it, its all you need :) 1 space for veg and clones, and another one for flower. You can rise the pots to level the light canopy and control the distance.

Good luck with them new seeds, Irie!

for soil insect i used diotomacious earth on top of the soil, it cuts the insects as they move through the layer. it can also be used in a squeeze bottle puffed onto the stems and leaves but this is messy. i bought my diotomacious earth from a animal feed store. do not use the type meant for pool filters.

Exactly what I used, no sign of them now. The mh light switch really change things, looking really good now. I will do pictures tonight when the lights kick on at midnight. The new de humidifier is pretty trick, can't wait to show you a pic. Smell is strong, gonna Ned to vent out better than I have been. Garage smell when I park the car and its not even in the garage, it's off the garage in a separate room. I don't notice it, my wife did. Guess lesson to be learned there, don't want undue attention from delivery people or stray neighbors.

cheapestBrain you should start your own grow journal as most people will have a look. go to this thread Journals in Progress and then bottom left area>Post New Thread. name the thread with your name, strain grown, type and wattage of lights, grow medium used. give us a link to it here if you wish.

I noticed the room was getting very warm now the sun is stronger. The cathedral ceilings have no insulation , so today I decided to trick out the room a little. Sheet rocked the ceiling and made an attic space, then laid down some insulation. Got half done today before my back spasms made me stop. Anyway, here's a picture.

I figure once this is done I can control the room it better. I put in the gable vent, so soffit vents next . Very slow process, bad back and neighbors having parties ll round me, stealth is key.
