Rex's Perpetual Hydroponics, LED, 4x4 Tent Using TBC 10 Gal System: All Are Welcome, Come Learn & Help

Just downloaded the app and looks pretty accurate!
LOL feels like I’m getting old ”how in the earth you can use a phone as a lux meter” :laughtwo:
The guy on the video advices to use a small piece of thin copy paper on top of the front cam. Tried two different paper thickness. Should I use the paper on top of the cam or wut? :D
You will love that app. They still charging $5 to unlock whichever? And I have found it to be quite accurate. Great app.

Hey folks, hope you are all off to a good start of the week.
Today is just a small photo update showing the trichome development on the plants, and I must say, the trichomes on the tips of the Gorilla Glue Auto is just crazy. I've never grown a plant with trichomes packed like this. It almost looks bleached from afar, but when looking closer you can see the whiteness is from trichomes.

Anyhow, enjoy and have a great day everyone (and all deficiencies are stopped, I won't be removing the partially damaged leaves at this stage in flower).

Great looking buds Rexer. Blackberry is looking very nice. Glad you have them on the mend.

Good afternoon Rex , garden looks lovely. :bravo:
The Wappa double header will interesting to watch develop.
I don't know SFA about dwc so forgive me please. :Namaste:
And you did mention nutrient issues which I don't know about.
I cut back nitrogen by this point in flower and peter it right out.
You seem to have a bit too much, just judging by looks.
I could be completely wrong just a thought.

Stay safe
Bill

Thanks LKABudMan!
they're chugging down the nutes and are full steam ahead. :cheesygrinsmiley:

heya Billl! Thanks!

She's got a few like that, I'm guessing she's going to be the heavier yielder of the grow.

All good Bill! :)

Nitrogen is cut back already. The Gorilla Glue seems N sensitive.
With RDWC- you've got one system feeding all the plants. Different cultivars = different requirements (to a small extent).
the simple rule of thumb for me is to keep the majority happy (2/3) at all times. So the Nitrogen levels were kept in line for the Blackberry and Wappa. It's a back and forth juggle, but unless the different strains have very similar feeding requirements, they'll always have the odd deficiency at different stages (for me anyways).
She's still slowly stacking and making some nice dense nugs.
I could grow one strain, but i like having multiple strains come smoking time. And as a side bonus, the plants aren't all finished at the same time usually.
Hope you're enjoying the beautiful weather today! It was nice to be out poking in the garage without freezing.

Day 66 and I'm here! Finally! I'm here! more than a week to read, but I'm here!! hahah

Thanks Verbalist! They're chewing through the calcium at 200PPM of calimagic now like nothing. I'll be upping that again shortly.

You will absolutely love the @NextLight 420h. The growth under it is incredible, and it's dimmer is like magic.

I was bored today. Here's a gif for viewing pleasure. Have a great day everyone!

Wow nice thank you so much.

Happy to have you along HPS, never worry about catching up. Skip ahead anytime!
Wow nice thank you so much.
Thank you Marcus, their fun to make. I really like them and find it a neat way to show how my training works (for myself).
Here's one just for fun, I decided to do a filter on it to give it a different look.

Innit! Flower development looks exactly same as mine. Gorilla Glue bursts huge sized calyxes, and the individual pistils are thicker than I’ve seen before. o_O

I guess its probably a promise for mad thick colas. :laughtwo:

And the amount of resin GG produces! Bud set has barely started and theres a lots of trics laying on top of the leaves already.

Anyway your nugs looking great Rex! Keep doing watcha doin and you will be rewarded again with a fat pile of flowers :surf:

Now it's an animated plant horror movie!
It was that or the trippy version that goes well with some Pink Floyd o_O :laughtwo:
Looks like you’re on the home stretch now, nice buds, bud!
:thumb:
Thanks DAB!
I'm quite happy with them and am satisfied that I'll have hit my goal. Though I think I surpassed my goal (not to jinx myself!)

Thanks V, that GG has been a roller-coaster ride of a grow. First the root rot (which I mistakenly thought has somehow caused some N sensitivity), then the constant N toxicity :laughtwo:. For quite a bit it looked like she'd barely produce, but her buds are stacking slowly and very densely . I think she'll hit my goal, (100g dried and cured) that I set l for each plant.

Lovely buds Rex! They are all stacking up nicely and yes they are really bringing it in the frost department. :goodjob:
Thanks N420! As I'm out of bud now from my last harvest- I'm impatiently waiting to stop buying my meds again :laughtwo: . And oh gosh, I'm so looking forward to sampling these :cheesygrinsmiley: .

Question for anyone and everyone!

im getting ready for photo cloning attempt number one (soon)...and was curious as to what PPM people are feeding the unrooted clones? I was thinking of 250-400 PPM or so, but I'm not too sure...and as another member asked me, I thought it might be a good question to post here.

So how do you decide what PPM to feed them at? I may not have clonex come the time, so it would be based on regular nutes.

Ladies are looking great Rex and I love the time-lapses. When I clone I mix up a 500ppm Clonex solution. I'm not sure I need 500ppm but that was the recommended dosage from Clonex and it worked well.

Thanks LKABudMan!

I was actually looking at yours just the other day for your cloning :)
I'd like to see if I can avoid the added cost of the clonex, but I may have to give it a try if I have troubles.

I've just about completed making the cloner (thanks to "borrowing" the main design from Shed!). I should have it done by tonight (if I have time), and Cilla is almost ready to have a branch clipped for cloning.

I have to admit I love the Clonex solution. I've cloned herbs (basil, rosemary, dill, thyme), succulants, and I'm even attempting to clone a cutting off an aspen with it. I've had cuttings sitting in water for weeks that rooted a day or two after putting them in clonex. It is also nice that a quart bottle of the stuff lasts a long time. I doubt you need it but in my experience it definitely speeds up the rooting process.

Well that is some good food for thought, thank you. And it does make me lean towards trying it. I'll probably try a round without- then with it. It'll work out better for budgeting, and help give me an idea of how well I can manage without it.

Yes you can if you use Kelp :) Clonex and other rooting hormones are just rich in Auxins + some other rooting hormes. But auxins does the most.

I’d just use (assuming youre talkin about some kind of cloning machine?) tap water if it’s close to decent at your region. And lil bit of kelp.

Awesome, awesome and thank you!!!! Great knowledge drop V! That Kelp will be staying in my grow tool box. It's got a permanent seat now :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yes indeed I am. I'm building one off from Sheds post. Slightly different, as I'm just using materials that I already have here (minus a bucket and collars I had to buy).

Edit- I forgot to tell you I bought some of their (RAW) enzymes to give them a try. They do have some good products!

Clones prob would love lil enzyme + vit boost straight after theyve established first roots :yummy:

And let us, ME at least know how you like them! Also still interested in their salts
