The confusion has been cleared up now my friend. I was being led to believe by Payton & Stumped that once you go vertical defol ceased and became a no-no.
The only reason you stop defol is to allow speedy vert, once this is achieved then defol can be resumed. :)
 
Good day and good evening to all. Hope everyone had a good and productive week but we are all ready for the weekend...LOL.

Gonna do a quick update since we haven't done one for awhile.

Starting with Wednesday's training the plant seemed to jump back faster then normal. Interesting since she seemed to stall after Sunday's res change out.

Took a few days to recoup from that. But after the training on Wednesday she sprouted up and out. Filled in very nicely and quickly.

There was no new grow during the stall but I went ahead and trimmed on Wednesday anyway. Come Thursday morning she had already turned up and new sprouts were on every branch. She is now back to being a bush.

Why the stall??? And now why the sudden spurt??? Who cares right...LOL.

IMO it's the brighter lights with the Spider then my light before.

Remember those left and right 7 & 8 shoots I counted on Wednesday? (or was it Sunday...LOL). Well they now are big enough to be pulled down.

Yes she will be getting a hair cut tomorrow morning after her mid cycle feeding.

I am very impressed with the growth this week and I hope it continues.

I'm not bored with her anymore...LOL. As long as she continues to show improvement that is.

Those 9 and 10 shoots came about this week. They weren't there on Wednesday when I last trained her.

No doubt she loves the new light.

She will get a full 2 weeks more (2 month mark) before we start thinking about going vertical.
 
So I was a little bored and decided to go back to my AG journal and read through it.

Dam I was green (rookie) LOL.

Gotta thank again those who came to the rescue.....

Cronic, King, LA, Canna, Teldren, Trichs....and all those that were there for the moral support.

I stumbled so much....LOL. It's funny as hell now.

And the end result was some nice little meds for a couple of months.

Thank you again 420 fam. Without you guys and gurls it would not have been possible....

You can juice the cannabis leaves. If you take the leaves from trimmings you can make hashish, cannabis oil or cannabis butter.

I have a portable washing machine similar to the Bubble Magic 5 Gallon Mini Washing Machine that I put the trimmings in a mesh bag and place inside the washing machine, I then fill the washing machine with cold water and ice cubes and set it for 2 cycles. I then place my 5 Gallon All Mesh five Bubble bags inside of a 5 gallon pail then drain the washing machine through its discharge hose into the bucket. I then remove each bag one at a time as I drain the liquid from the bag. The trichomes are gathered in the bottom of the bags and are removed in different grades and pressed in a pressing screen to remove excess water. I then take my Large Piranha Aluminum Pollen T-Press and press the hashish into convenient sized disks.

BUUUTTTTTT...... And John can confirm this.

I was told there is no value in early trimmings. Only trimmings that are in bloom stage. No smoke value and no medicinal value.
