Therye looking great, Lester! I'm sure they'll fair well. Hoping they do. Because if they can survive there, they can hopefully survive over here by the other puddle. Lot of fog here, too, but a bedsheet draped overhead of them night can save them from that. A tarp could collect water and crash down, why I'd use a sheet, lol.
Wouldn't a male have showed by now, before your girls showed?
Yah and I feel ya, that's why this is an experiment, I specifically chose this strain for their hardyness, since it's a cross with Brazilian Haze it should fair well in these conditions, not to mention Russian Ruderalis. If this were my normal spring/fall crop I'd be out there doing what I can, but ultimately since I am an outdoor grower I am at the mercy of Mother Nature, plain and simple. Some years will be amazing, some years won't be so amazing - just how it goes!
Rain definitely coming down now, it's a nice shower, nothing too strong yet, I think they'll like it and hopefully wake up to some fresh sun-shine, they'll love that after a night of cold rain.
And about the male, yeah, I totally agree that a male should have shown by now, if there was indeed one, but I think that with the Russian Ruderalis it may be hard to say, I think it's possible I could see a male still, but the odds are in my favor that they're all female, the flowers are progressing as each night passes, so we should know soon enough
