RDWC Lemon Skunk Seeds From DNA

You talked me down. I think they are ready to do something serious. The plants are growing from every node. I know I keep bringing this up but one has three separate stalks. About an inch and a half off of the media 3 equal size stalks grow in three directions. Should be interesting

craziest yielding plant I've ever had was this sad mutated little afgan purple clone that grew an inch from the top of the soil then had 6 gangly fucked looking branches shoot off with a fan here and a fan there, the whole summer it barely grew taller than two feet but it was just 6 weird lanky branches from the pot up. when all the other ones started showing preflowers it still just kept doing weird shit, and then it exploded from the base to the tip with flowers all over it and passed every one of my other plants in days. I ended up with 6 hard dense foot and a half baseball bat's for colas and ended up with around 24 ounces off that plant dry. So what I'm saying is while 90% of the time the shit ones will be shit, once in a while you end up with gold.

Very inspiring. These two... shit those 12.....

little history. I had bought 12 strawberry Banana, 12 Kosher Tangie, and 12 lemon Skunk. All seeds from DNA Genetics. I was gonna get about the same amount in free seeds. I was stoked. Waiting for seeds, Waiting for seeds, etc. I tracked them to Los Angeles and I guess they are still there. I didn't get the letter from the government, or anything, but I also didn't get seeds.

they offered seeds, and a lifetime supply of tiny shirts, but I wanted money and they didn't flinch, no BS they just paid me. Since it was pretty obvious that I was gonna be seedless I placed an order with Oaseeds for Lemon Skunk. 12 seeds. The plan was to germ all 12 and take the 8 strongest and plant the rest in soil for presents. I got 3, and they have been completely fucked from day one. Too funny. I got a plant that could catch polio, its so fragile. The other has leaf fingers growing upside down. Just one finger. But the best thing with this one is

It has three separate mainstems. This plant hasn't been topped yet. Look how low they are. You'll have to forgive me. I haven't had any reason to get excited about this grow till now. I liked you story man. Thank you.

I cut off a few lower branches to clean up a bit. So im thinking those might make nice little clones. I've never cloned anything. Thought about cloning my kid but he's enough trouble. I have a home made cloner, so i broke it out. I'm not taking this too seriously, so i did everything I've read without going back to verify the steps. I replaced the pump with an old one and I'm off to the races

I'm thinking I'll find if what I've done will work in a day or two. I'm going to make the space under my bench a cloning area/ nursery, lights will be hard mounted to the bottom of the bench, but until then the location of the cloner is basically where ever I can put it.

So that's where I'm at. The Machine is outside right now to make sure it doesn't leak, i will find a better place shortly.

So i decided to use my P4 light under the bench. I may do a couple T5 panels some day. This one has a few different light setting. Interestingly it has white LEDs also. If memory serves they are 10 watt cree. Dunno. But it sure makes photos easy. This light is kind of a strange design, but it can grow some God Damn bud.

I think I'm ready for some critique if you see glaring errors.

Looks great over here St. Love that 3 headed monster! So weird the beans never made it, but nice they got you sorted out.

I have a plant with TMV and she's a slacker.... we hit flower and she's frosting twice as hard as any of the others. Lesson learned. Don't ever give up on runts haha!

What ya need to know big guy?!
Everything haha.

So, i took 3 small branches from the bottom of one of my Lemon Skunk. I kept them in a glass of water till I cut the angle, then back in the water. I'm using Rapid Start for cloner nutes. I then put the plants in the cloner Phed it, cut a couple leaves in half, hung that light... you know the one. I'm just running the "veg" switch. The light is 19 inches away but I placed a semi clear bowl over it. I'll pull the bowl when they start to do something. Humidity is still crazy low. I saw a stray dog yesterday he shriveled and blew away.

So does that sound like it might work? Fingers crossed.

Can I see the inside of your cloner?
I also usually always cut my clones at a 45 when I take them and dip them right away and place them in my cloner. Not sure if it makes a difference that's just how I always do it. I use clonex for rooting gel. I snip I dip in it then I slide it in the puck and place in the cloner.
My cloner I always ph to 5.8 and I always add just 1/4 teaspoon of floragro to keep them lush and green while they put roots on.
I never mess with a humidity dome. And my success rate doesn't usually slow down. But feel free to use it as clones are known to need a higher humidity than normal plants.
Change your water every ten days.

Got a live shot of the cloner guts. Not a good idea. There's a ton of power right there.

Yeah, there was a gap in time between initial cut and when I put the angle on. To be honest I took them out of the trash. They were probably without water for 15 minutes. I probably cut half an inch off when I did the angle. Then straight into water. Ironically I'm at 5.8. I have some clones, but it's mycorrihsa and a powder. I tried it and it clogged all my squirty things immediately. I have 4 or 5 root compounds, but it looks like they are just for the machine. I decided to go with rapid start. I use it for full grown plants and it cranks out the roots

Question: can the neoprene biscuits that hold the future plants be too tight?

This is very informative. Thanks a million!!

That cloner is sweet! I'll be making a smaller version shortly using the same ez clone nozzles. Interested to see your learning curve. I've used them in my flower system and they're great at promoting roots.

That's a neat point that not having a dome hasn't affected results that much Rooster. Good info. I've always thought it was a big deal. Live and learn.

I bet you have roots in a week Stltoed

Thanks man. My buddy just came over and kicked down. Nice. I really don't know. I found a rust spot from foliar spray. This strain loves to be sick haha. That's all I'm interested in this time, knowledge. If it works out then great. My humidity is so damn low, i figured a dome may help, but if i see rust its gone. Roots in a week would be great. The light over the cloner is 19 inches away. I guess I was afraid they may not dig it that close, another reason for that bowl

Nah they can't be too tight. Sometimes I stick 3 clones in the same puck. I don't even use the center hole when I gear up for outdoor. I stick 3 in each one.

Def pick up some clonex to dip them in. Great stuff man. And also maybe turn the pump down to the lowest setting so they aren't being blasted. Or get a different piece of pvc and rather than straight up and down jets put them on the side slightly rolling to the top so they are st like a 45 degree angle.
Looks like a lot of power. I think you want to mist them rather than pound them. But if you are getting roots then keep at it. Until you have plenty to spare then you can experiment. If you have success keep at it until you have the ample opportunity to improve without losing s strain or sacrificing your next crop. Always stick with what is working for you before making changes people recommend.
If you are struggling then their opinions become more valid and when you are looking to speed things up or dial in. But getting 4 out of 10 to root is more important than trying something different and being unsure whether or not you'll get any to take.
