RDWC Lemon Skunk Seeds From DNA

Nah they can't be too tight. Sometimes I stick 3 clones in the same puck. I don't even use the center hole when I gear up for outdoor. I stick 3 in each one.

Def pick up some clonex to dip them in. Great stuff man. And also maybe turn the pump down to the lowest setting so they aren't being blasted. Or get a different piece of pvc and rather than straight up and down jets put them on the side slightly rolling to the top so they are st like a 45 degree angle.
Looks like a lot of power. I think you want to mist them rather than pound them. But if you are getting roots then keep at it. Until you have plenty to spare then you can experiment. If you have success keep at it until you have the ample opportunity to improve without losing s strain or sacrificing your next crop. Always stick with what is working for you before making changes people recommend.
If you are struggling then their opinions become more valid and when you are looking to speed things up or dial in. But getting 4 out of 10 to root is more important than trying something different and being unsure whether or not you'll get any to take.
Ok man, sounds good. I'll get some clonex next time I'm ready to spend money. I need Ph up and more Rapid Start.

If I get a viable clone I may clear my closet and grow in dirt again. 10 gal Smart Pot, Fox Farm. I really don't want to move all that crap again. It's nice to have a space like that. Ugh. Thankfully I'm a ways away from all that

Thanks man. My buddy just came over and kicked down. Nice. I really don't know. I found a rust spot from foliar spray. This strain loves to be sick haha. That's all I'm interested in this time, knowledge. If it works out then great. My humidity is so damn low, i figured a dome may help, but if i see rust its gone. Roots in a week would be great. The light over the cloner is 19 inches away. I guess I was afraid they may not dig it that close, another reason for that bowl

Another thing. Clones take fiercely under a t5,t8 or cfl lighting. About 6" from them would kill it. You could save some serious electric if you root with just a single 75 or 100watt cfl dangling above it. Once rooted then blow them up with that thing.

There's a nice T5 light at my fave hydro shop. It's Like $75. I get paid tomorrow, maybe the fat bastard with the red suit will kick down.

A cfl bulb is 6$ if not :-) got a desk lamp laying around? Hang it and screw in the bulb lol walla your cloning lol

Well i fimmed them today. The tops on the big plant 3 on one, 7 on the other. Hoping for big things. Heres a shot of the big one. I think it's 34 days old. Nice trunk..

Hey dude, which do you thing is a better rig? First option is, a 125 watt 6500K CFL with a wing reflector.

or a 2 foot by 4 lamp fluorescent with 6500k T5s?

The fluorescent fixture may be marginally too wide for my bench, but I can fix that.

Curious what you think

I use a two bulb 24" t8 shop light fixture with a 650k blue aquarium bulb and a 3500k soft white bulb and everything has been rooting fast and thick. That light set up was probably 70$ cause the blue bulb is from a pet store and 24" is not a common size anymore. It was much shroom light, the mycelium loves blue light.

I use an 18", 17 watt, 6400K HO, T5 for cloning that seems to work well at about 10" above the clones. I also use a dome to help keep the humidity up in the winter months. I cut on the 45⁰ angle as well and trim the fan leaves, then dip in Stim-Root #2 and place into peat pellets. I haven't got one of them newfangled cloner/mister devices you young'ns use. Generally takes about 2 weeks before I see roots protruding from the sides of the peat pellets. Then I remove the peat, clean up the roots a bit and its into the RDWC.

I'm sure theres several cloning techniques that work well. Like the plant itself, the clones are pretty hardy too.

Nice! Thanks dude. I was looking at an 8 tube 2 foot T5 fixture (I could switch off 4 tubes if needed), but my bench would need to be made deeper. It's too much light anyway.

I ended up buying 2 large CFLs 6500K. One aught to do it i think, but if i need to put the boots to them I can with 2.

Are new clones susceptible to light issues, or do they keep the same light heartiness as their original plant? I've been treating them like seedlings in regards to light.

I run mine on an 18/6 schedule and treat them like seedlings as well. I'm no authority on cloning however, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.
Sounds like you know what you're doing. Makes sense to me. Thanks
