Radogast's Hi-Brix Basement Grow - New Location - New Soil - New Experiences

Looks good. I stuff chicken breasts with a mixture of cream cheese, pistachios, and dried sour cherries and a little herb. Wrap in bacon and roast. I would tweak my recipe to add the infused oil into the cream cheese mixture. Made a compound butter last night out of garden thyme, lemon, and butter for a pan seared salmon steak. Nothing beats using garden products in home recipes!

Hey there Rad, congrats on the harvest, congrats on the Lilly in Turkey bags for the family treats, and finally you're knocking it outta the park! Great Job buddy!

Just listened to this... Don't know how I missed hearing about this band n the 70s. I guess because my hometown band, Tower of Power, delivered a little more funk in a song.

Thanks for the encouraging words!

Met my first local grower yesterday - 3 blocks away and my wife hasn't seen her for 25 years but they fell back into talking like it had only been a couple of weeks. Her grow is struggling right now (she's been busy being artistic and misplaced her seed hoard.) I'll probably head over this week to lend a hand and a clone or two. I've got a spare borderliner, and carnival in the cloner :)

She's got a volcano, we've got some good lava - a match made in the earth's core :)

I have to say this about the Bay area, Oakland,,, crack hit it hard. It was the murder capital of the states them years. I lived down in the
DEEP EAST. I was on 82nd and MacAurther right smack in the middle of the hoe stroll for about a year. But I was never there, it was a base camp for my gold dredge trips. Here' I was sporting Stetson Hats and Tony Lama boots drive a 528i with 'The Bitch Master' airbrushed on the spoiler.. Peckerwood Pimp... naaw JK But that part of the Bay was crazy as hell then. I've talked to peoples back there that say today kids can play in Sabranti? Park. In the 80's, I woodn't go down there. You'd read a bout shit kicking off every night in that park. But that sounded fantastic that kids could play there again.
Sorry I started this yesterday. I've not grown much down in SoCal. But sure sounds great. DRY. No Rains,, wow. You could do a full blown sativa outdoors and have finish... I did alittle outdoor that was my first crop there. Topanga Canyon. It died from water issiues. But I tried. That was 73'. I still see that one. plantts got mayby 18" and I seen hairs on the girls.. Missed watering for a week.. Been trying ever since..
Hey Happy Fathers Day. I got to get. I'll get caughtup in a minute.

A Meters reference.... very nice!
They're a frequent show to be seen in The Big Easy. Jazzfest and Voodoo staples.

One of my favorites, funk groove with a little swamp vibe mixed in.... even better with Dr John sitting in. That's another amazing musician. Check out "Yellow Moon".

I thought of them when Graytail posted this:

"Fi yuo cna raed tihs, yuo hvae a srtgnae mnid too. Cna tuo raed tihs? Olny 55 poelpe out of 100 cna."

"Fi yuo" reminded me of the Meters and then flashback.

I always hesitate to tie them down at that size and then regret it when they get away from me. :laughtwo: They're so cute and delicate that I don't want to mess with them.

Loved your smoke report. I can't believe I missed it earlier in the week. Fell asleep sitting up. Way to go Rad. :high-five:

Hey Bob, have you been keeping up with Tony Joe White? He's been writing some nice music. Swampy rock blues. And I loved Dr John in the 70s. What a cool vibe.

I like the look of that Carnival, Rado. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Carnival (35 days under 11/13 lights) - She was a little slow to set flowers, I just did her first cationic drench (a Doc Bud kit soil thing.) Most plants reach this stage in flower in about 21 days, she took 2 more weeks. I was previously moving the girls out of the flower room every 7-10 days for a foliar spray, photo shoot, and leaf trimming. Lately, 2 of my girls have had branches too fragile to do well with the moves, so I left Carnival under the lights for her foliar spray.

CBD Critical Cure (11 days) - she has grown from 20" to over 30" tall in her first 11 days of flower.

Borderliner (29 days) - I was rearranging, so she came outside for her foliar and photos.

I fondly remember a few Dr. John songs from the 70s(In The Right Place) - didn't know about The Meters. (I can't find Yellow Moon)

Beginning on my first trip to New Orleans, I've had a special appreciation for the original Dr. John, (Dr. John Montanee.)

I'm pleased with the way Carnival grows. I expect to run this Carnival for several generations.

I'm pleased with the way you get Carnival to grow too.

So this is what the CBD Critical Cure looks like when you don't restrain them as hard as I do? :laughtwo:

Ace Mix - dried and sampled

Today, I decided the branches hung dry for 1 week in the veg area, were ready to smoke.

The wife cleaned bongs

I removed the wet trimmed popcorn.

Ready to remove the top nugs

Ace Mix went into my largest (5 liter) container

20170619_232017-1.jpg

120g (4 1/4 oz) of orange haired, fresh dried Ace Mix (free feminized seeds from Ace Seeds.)

20170619_231958-1.jpg

Ace Mix freshie hit fast with a feeling of being stoned, followed by a growing sense of energy and curiousity, followed by the munchies while remaining energetic, curious, and stoned. She doesn't have any true flavors yet. Smoke is smooth. Ash residue is white with almost no resin.

A good smoke, she reminds me of my AK47 XTRM, with bigger buds, bigger yield, and a cleaner, more sativa high.

Hey, I know a great way to keep your glass clean all the time.. Have Miss J clean them. Dude, they'll never get dirty again believe me. Of course, you'll never have a piece of glass to smoke with either after dumping the trash.. I better stfu she might be lurking...

I love them containers. Costy. I find them 1 gallon wire jars every now and then for 10 bucks or something and I get, all of them... Nice little Harvest Congrats and may she smoke great... Keepem Green
