I had a plumber come to my house recently. I decided to unplug everything, this was to be the first professional near my grow. Some of my pipes run through my room, and they exit right by the 4in hole I have cut from my wall for exhaust. I'm standing next to the plumber while he is looking at my pipes. All of a sudden he starts sticking his hand all up in the exhaust hole. Even tho I'm legal I had a funny feeling about having this dude knowing anything about my grow.

Two winters ago I had to have the water heater replaced , right next to my flower room and the furnace replaced passing down the hall between my flower room and my veg room. The doors were locked as per state law (in that state) and not a one talked about my root cellar and ventilation. I had about 6 visits spread over 3 weeks with up to five plumbers. --- Yep. Even though I was legal, I felt like a criminal.

Usually you find those somewhere down the side of the house. How odd to find it right at the front door. Is it perhaps some sort of local tradition that you might find in other houses?

Nope. But there is only one other center hall colonial revival in the neighborhood. Most are Queen Anne, cape, or stick built designs.

Morning Rado and all,

I forgot to ask a question yesterday about that little seed that won't crack. Did you try scraping it lightly along the edge?

:circle-of-love:

I did not scrape. The seed finally sunk to the bottom of the glass yesterday, so I'll give it a couple more days.

It's been about 2 weeks since planting the seeds

The stems are strong enough to start 'leaf spreading'. First, I hold the larger leaves down for 3 seconds.

Then I hold the smallest leaves down for 3 seconds. Repeat every time I am in the room with vegging plants.

LightAddict has a thread on it LA's really quick guide to Tip Spreading for node stacking!
He's my hero :circle-of-love:

And...??? What happened?

I had a tree trimmer trim a tree right outside my grow room window... he must have smelled the evidence... he got kinda squirrely and my price changed to more $$ for him after that encounter. Lesson lernt.

Yes I had an agreement for price.. price went up after. The cool part was that when I asked for a written bill, he wrote me an invoice in Calligraphy which was totally cool, specially since he took down a tree that was probably 120 years old. I was good with it gave him props on Angies List ...

Hey Rad.... get this book and take a read:

I added it to my wish list on Amazon - - and noticed I have wish list items from 2008

When you mentioned invoice in calligraphy my first thought was 'stoner.' :ganjamon:

Seven pages in and I just noticed you have a new thread. Dang Rad!

Well, I'm here now. Let me try to jump back and catch up before I go to bed.

Hey Rad..... Good to have you Journalling again. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Good Lord Rad, you're running the kit? How on earth did I miss this for almost two months???? Don't ever let me be this negligent again. I thought you were still sorting it out.

Ok, back in. Oh..... welcome to the wonderful world of Doc's delights.

A pleasure to have you here, SweetSue.

You didn't miss a thing, 3 seeds in the ground for almost 2 weeks. They will grow up to look sort of like all the other plants you see on 420 magazine

The kit was a natural choice. :) I had to leave my soil behind when I moved, so I had to build soil anyway.

If you are going to really join in, show us a random picture of one of your plants. We need some photos while we are waiting for something interesting to happen :loopy:

Can I share my first grow?

*sigh*. It was a glorious grow, no? Such unexpected fun. Hard to believe my only purpose in coming here was to document that grow. :laughtwo:

Rad.... I'm impressed as hell. Great set-up. I can't wait to see what you do with the kit. :slide: Ahhhhhh...... Now the world feels right again. Oh yeah... The smudging report was inspirational. Thanks for that. :hugs:

I'll try to be quiet here, and do more watching. So good to have found you.

How's this picture? That DDA I harvested was so dark I still can't believe it.
