Well of course they are clones of clones. Every year I pick the healthiest clone or clones of the batch, ( you've seen the number of clones I take ) and turn them into mothers, and clone more for next time. But I'm still cloning that original plant from 12 years ago. And I'm telling you it hasn't lost any potency at all period, let alone 25%, that's bullshit. Now you want to talk the big light in the sky. While plants you grow Out side are a lot more healthy and more robust and are just easier to grow in general. I have found I get a hell of a lot more Trich's indoors when I use 2- 600 watt HPS's along with 10- 125 watt CFL's. Here's the PR on the hill a few minutes ago:
now here's past indoor:
you see the difference? That's partly due to strain but not as much as you would think. I had one better indoor photo but I couldn't find it. In regards to the out door yes you get more yield, the plants just get bigger out side. I'm sure the fact that I grow on a north facing hill has more to do with the amount of Trich's my plants produce then any other factor. I don't think the size of the plant has much to do with potency. It's got more to do with finding the right food for the right strain, not over watering, and light. Now I stop watering my plants a week to ten days before I harvest. Every one will tell you all that does is make the buds shrink and they do a little, but when the plant thinks is dieing it produces more resin to protect the top of the plant. Most every one say's that bullshit but I'm saying there wrong. Try it, pick a crumby plant, with in a month of harvest and stop watering it, whats going to happen is the fan leaves are going to go lemp, turn yellow, dry up and fall off, and the plant is going to send all resources to the buds to keep them alive, and what are the resources Water and resin. Sorry for the rant Brotha TOAST Some times I get a little aggravated with people telling me what Ive been doing for 45 years is wrong. Its not wrong its just different.
