Radogast 2 - Return of the Clones

I found the same thing with my tincture. I used mostly trim and some vaped material. Not nearly strong enough in a vape pen but great under the tongue!! I'm with ya, Rado! :woohoo:

A snapshot Late Veg after lights out. Hani C1 (Center back row) looks like she may be next to move to the flower room.

I need to move Hani to a reachable location: I could barely get a photo, much less train.
Hawaiian Skunk Hani C1 - It looks like I encourged 4 or 5 main branches.

What technique are you using to train Rad? It looks like some supercropping?

I'm infusing another batch of trim in Vegetable Glycerin(VG)

As a vape juice, VG infused with trim is a flavoring:It takes way too many inhales to get one high, about 1ml.

The same trim infusion, taken as a 1ml dropper squirted straight onto the tongue, gives a body hit within seconds and does a great job right before bed.

The process is simple, we have used 15-20ml, and we have more trim, so I started another small batch.

I'm going to have to give this a try. Where did you get this little infuser and what did it set you back?

What's heating it?

Mostly I am pinching or trimming the leaders on Hani C1 to slow them down and sometimes force branching. Occaisonally I do a squeeze and gentle bend that is less than a full supercropping.

My relations are supercropping the Snowcap at the lower left and probably also the Girl Scout Cookies at the upper left.

What's heating it?

The heating element is a scented wax heater such as is found new in farmer's markets, flea markets and craft stores for about $25. BUT it's basically a 25 watt bulb in a ceramic flower pot that happens to fit a canning jar. More photos ---->>Radogast 2 - Return of the Clones

I squeezed out the fresh batch of VG infusion this morning.
I have yet to measure but about 3 or 4 parts Vegetable Glycerin to 1 part dried trim.

Basically I took a shot glass full of weed and covered it with VG, warmed, for 36 hours.

The jar a chose was the right size, but had no stopper, so I shortened a champagne style cork.

The girl asked, did you remember to activate the weed in the oven this time??? ----

Hey Radogast, good evening.

Ya know I want to call you Rado, is that ok? And you also know I'm kinda new here with a lot to learn. I was hoping to peruse your site like it was a cheap, beautiful, naked hooker with the greatest works of tattoo art all over her body:rofl:

......sorry, got carried away.......learn some stuff here. I'll try to keep the zhit (thanks Magic) down, but I have to say

Warning: This Vet is medicated for YOUR protection.

As the operator of a studio for a number of years that one made me really laugh John. Feeling better are we?

Thanks Rad. Somehow I missed page 92. I'll have to be more attentive in future. :battingeyelashes:

Where does one acquire vegetable glycerine?

I guess I could just google that, couldn't I?

:rofl:Tatoo, hooker or medicated? Much better, love!

I ordered mine online, Sue. The veggie glycerin, that is. My local drugstore has it but it is ridiculously priced.

Thanks Magic. I'll go looking for next month's shopping list.

Does that glycerin reduce like alcohol? I'm just asking from a cooking perspective. My mind is canvasing all kinds of stony deglazed pan goodness

No. The VG doesn't seem to reduce much. Some percentage gets absorbed into the weed and doesn't squeeze out.

When I did a post infusion decarboxylation of 45 minutes in 260 degree oven, the VG expanded with the heat, but when it subsided, nothing had evaporated.

I was hoping to be able to reduce and concentrate the VG, but nope

A quick internet search yielded this comment:
"Glycerol boils at about 550 F, THC around 320 F, CBD about 360 F."

thanks SoilGirl :)
CC: didmake a great share :)

We have a very wide hair straightener that the girl says runs hot.
I have ounces about 2 days from dry.
If I make it through the weekend without trying this, I'll be surprised.

What do you think would be the best acid to infuse?

I'm thinking it wouldn't be too hard to infuse sake and most other grain alcohols and cook with those. But they don't always have the right flavor profile. Can you infuse wine? I would think that heat would ruin most wines?

Thinking out loud. Don't mind me.

edit:

and then as I post that, I found this.
