Im 46 yrs old. When i was 15 we were gathered together and told my mother was probably not gonna live much longer. She had something similar and was in the hospital on good times every 3 mos (most of the time at a lesser interval) hooked to a dialysis machine for a complete blood transfusion. The next day, she went into remmission and for 20+ years rarely even needed the transfusions anymore. She passed a year ago last April. Attitude, the will to go on and a good support system among those that care without overshowing it to make them feel "anxious" shall we say, go a long ways. I've learned praying for happiness usually takes care of everything else...no matter which way the ball bounces. I'll give you that prayer, that you & yours keep a smile on your face and warmth in ya'alls hearts as anything in life is totally useless w/o those two ingredients.

Wow my friend, that is truely awesome that you were granted that extra 20 years! I'm sorry for your recent loss, though, and you'll have a prayer from me as well John.

Thank you so much Mr Krip! One of the great things I learned from my mom, is to always stay strong, and keep your chin up when things are rough. She will be tough through this, as will I Thank you again brother

Well guys I hate to ask for anything from people, but I would like to ask those of you who pray, to just say a quick prayer if you could, for my mother, a great woman. She has had a low white blood cell count, and low red platelet count which has gotten slightly worse over the last year, and is having a bone marrow biopsy to find out if theres Luchemia, or worse, MDS-An untreatable and uncurable condidtion which has a lif expectancy of 3-5 years. I'm praying whatever the problem is, that its at least treatable, so she has a chance. If you don't pray, she could still use any positive and healing vibes you could spare. Thanks in advance guys! I'll have a picture update soon!
