Hey GT thanks a bunch and a big:welcome:

Lol, no they're not HD pots, gottem at a great nursery not far from here but they're the same. And the FF nutes I actually got at a hydro shop, local, at a pretty good discount. I have purchased most of what I use from that shop and the guy is pretty cool, been real helpful.

I gotta tell you though, I'd have probably paid it, and probably would in the future. I'v been using the light feeding, 2 tsp/gal, with the GrowBig, and I have not had one instance of burning; Rather, a great jump in growth for a solid 2 days after each watering. I always add superthrive too, and I know that stuff is great. But the girls seem to just love the Growbig, and I may add Big bloom to the TigerBloom this time. I know I'll be adding Snowstorm ultra to the flower as well...

Sorry to ramble-Welcome again and feel free to stop in anytime!

Awesome my friend!! Yeah it's nice to have a buddy at the local hydro shop, I got the same, only it's an hour and a half away, and through metro traffic!!! So sometimes it takes 5 hours!! But atleast I can get my FF products right down the road. How's that snowstorm? I'm thinking about trying it, never have...

Wow brother 5 hours!? I'd order online with a greendot card first!. Hell I'd use MG Tomato again before I spent that much time, and fuel to get to the hydro shop!! But I guess the trip to get cool stuff is half the adventure sometimes so....

RE; Snowstorm...I havent used it yet my friend, but I've read only good things about it so far. Supposed to increase resin production, and who doesn't like lots-o-trichs!? I need to brush up on it to remember exactly how it works but I'm sold on it. Its only around 10 bucks at my hydro store, so its worth a test run.

Thanks again for stopping through, I know you spend a lot of time all over this site, I've seen you around a LOT of threads lately. Hope to see you around for years to come. Hope all is well!:peacetwo:

Yeah, and about 3 hours of it would be at around 5-15 miles an hour, if not sitting still, :cough: But as you said, it is the roadtrip part I love. Plus as I said, my buddy from home is half owner, so it's cool to catch up, and have a little 420 time out back:passitleft: I think that Snowstorm was mentioned by him once, but he didn't push it to me very hard, knowing my hard-headedness, heh.:) Will be trying it out soon too I suppose. And on the MG Tomato, I have used the crap out of that stuff outdoors, and never failed me, mixes good in organic teas also, which is my preferred delivery style outside. I really enjoy everyone I've met here so far, and hope, Lord willing, that I may be able to stick around also, to spend more time here with such pleasant souls and brilliant minds!! Stay green my friend, and God bless!!!:peace:

High Quix :)

I'm going to try SnowStorm this grow, I'll be a crash test dummy for you! :high-five:

Crash test maybe, but you're no dummy brotha! But I'll take whatever results you get from it to heart for sure OMM!!:):Namaste:

I am anxious to see that stuff too, gonna grab a bottle my next trip to the hydro shop..

I'll be anxiously awaiting the results from bothe your grows!!:high-five:

WOW Quix those plants are looking great very green and seem to be healthy :) So how long did you wait before you started taking clones? and where did you make most of your cuts?

Hey TN, Thanks for the compliments bro...I took the clones right around 5 weeks into veg. (to me veg is from the day they break ground, which is actually probably wrong, but I use that term to say how old they are) I used a few tall 3rd node branches, and some 4th and 5 node branches too. On those branches, I went just past the first node, so that it would double up, like with topping. See my next update to see how its going!:high-five:

Ok guys n gals, time for an update...

The clones are into 16 days in the bubbler, NO RES CHANGE!! Its crazy once these things actually get running! I have 7, and most look fine, a couple look a little sad, but for 16 days and very little feeding they look great!

3 of them have roots and 4 are still trying. Maybe I didnt get their stems down into the cubes far enough...Oh well...

But one, and just this one, is TAKING OFF!!...Kinda weird...

Not sure why she decided to take off like that. Shes right over the bubble wall, but so are a couple of the other ones...Here's the roots...

The mothers(Well, only one has given clones, but theyre sisters anyway...) are as lush as can be. I really have to say hats off to FF, for both the OF soil and the GB nutes...At least so far...

I'll probably tie down just once more on the main, and top a couple of the taller side shoots that are now acting as mains, in order to even out the canopy some....I just hate the idea of throwing out perfectly good cuttings. But alas, I have no where to grow them.

Oh, and has anyone ever seen, or used this stuff?? I got it in that box of freebies and keep forgetting I have it...Its a TRF, and the analysis look VERY enticing....

Its like OC+, but with a +++!!! Mycohrizae, and humic acid, AND its 5-8-4, great for flowering...So, its OC+++ for flower!?:tokin::hmmm::dreamy::idea::scratchinghead::shhh: ....
Anyway, time's short as my lady is back to her schooling now, I hope I didnt miss any of you and hope all is well with all of you...!!!:Namaste:

Well, it's go time! The three clones with roots hittin the res got evicted to the land of soil tonight...The one is freakin amazing! I, being of the curious nature that I am, (see the beginning of this journal for when I went on a seed hunt in my soil, when 2 seedlings wouldnt pop!!) decided to push, not pull 2 of the clones down through the rockwool cubes to see if there were actually roots growing....There are....We'll see if pushing them down like that will shock or kill them....But here are the new transplants, went straight into FFOF with a half strength watering of Great white, and superthrive, i swear both those products are magic!...

I'll give the upcoming candidates a few more days, but I want to flip the lights within the next 2 weeks....Here are the runners up....

Any suggestions on how long to let them adjust to soil before going 12/12???

Looking GRRREEEAAAT! Happy frog = AWESOME STUFF!!!, And I would give it 2 days, unless you mix 60/40 with Light Warrior...Always good to let em stretch their "legs" a couple days!!!

I gotta try the light warrior....

Wow Quix, mom's look great. Good news on the one clone, and it sounds like the others are on their way too, (hopefully!) :cheertwo:
Hey X thanks my friend...I'm really surprised this is going so well, it could be faster with a few tweaks, but not bad all in all. No DM zone, no cloning gel or powder, no res changes, and a very cheap DIY bubble cloner, with minimal aeraition. I did it this way, 1 because of money, and 2, so that I could learn from the bottom up. Now I know what I can get away with, using the bare minimum. I'm curious to know how well this would go if I had all the right stuff!!:high-five:

Hi Quix. ;)

I just love your enthusiasm Buddy. I can tell your having a ball growing and trying new things. It's working for you too. Gotta see the OC+++++ in action!
Just keep it up! :cheertwo:

Hello OMM!! Thank you for the kind words neighbor!! I sure am enjoying getting the hang of things, it's nice not to worry so much anymore. And its nice to have a little experience to share with others, should they need it. I gotta tell you, I'm really starting to think I owe a good deal of my success to the genetics of this strain.(aside from the great community here) Northern Lights has long been renowned for it's ease in growing indoors. But now I see why. These plants will take some serious abuse, and still bounce back. Under and over feedings, under and over waterings, resistance to transplant shock, and easy to clone too. Even my environment is sketchy, and they dont seem to mind. I'm not sure I'd get away with a smany unfavroable conditions with another strain....We shall see in the fall! :high-five: It's no wonder SO many strains are crossed with NL....Anyway thanks for stopping in!:allgood::Namaste:

Hi Quix ! ;)

Would you believe I've never grown any Northern Lights? I will get to it soon.
That sounds like my kind of girl. It grows in spite of us and how we screw up.
I have some samples of it my helper gave me and I likes it! Does a nice job on my head. :high-five:
