I almost forgot to add the mini-update. Hey I smoked a doobie and been sipping on a margarita. It's me and the bf's anniversary today. Didn't want to go anywhere, just wanted to spend a nice quiet evening at home blazed and margaritas to mark the occasion. See, I am a low maintenance chick, the simple things mean a lot to me and makes me happy..As for the update, well, let's just say I can't wait for the CalMag to get here. All I have been doing is pulling off yellow leaves from the bottom of the plants. Coco was dry so I gave them water. Will give nutes with CalMag when it gets here. Temp and humidity has been staying on point. I also think that when the CalMag gets here, I will also pull them out their pots and trim their roots. A lot of their roots are starting to peek out from the bottom of the pots. I rather traumatize them all at one time than doing it more than once, if that makes sense. The clones are still looking good after transplanting them to larger containers.

Thank you sir....Not much to add to journal at the moment. One of the bs plants got tied down. It was just getting too close to the lights. I can't raise the lights any higher.And I did go to the dollar store to check on some things that Ggrant mentioned. Do you believe that there are no baskets like the one you mentioned. I couldn't even find ice cube trays in the damn place. Very disappointing.

Congratutions! Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day.

I went for a walk yesterday and I saw a blue plastic recycle box by a dumpster and thought of you! (I sure know how to sweet talk a gal, don't I?)

What I mean is, I thought that if it had some holes drilled in the sides and bottom, it would make a perfect planter for you.

I can't believe it's that hard to find something cheap that can be converted into a planter! Maybe Miwa had the right idea of using a plastic garbage bag.

How about a thin plastic container? I sometimes buy packages of pre-washed lettuce. You know, the kind you just dump in a bowl and add dressing, no washing or preparation needed? It's also sold in medium and large plastic boxes (well, not huge, but big enough for Miwa to plant an entire garden!), like so

Eat your Greens, Young Lady, or no Dessert for You!

If you had several of these and prentended you were a third-grader, you could spend a wonderful afternoon with several of these boxes, cutting off a side or two and connecting them together with plastic packing tape to make a much bigger box!

As far as posting off-topic or off-site stuff, I think it's OK as long as you don't post links to other MJ sites.

But you definitely can't post off-topic pictures or you'll get banned! (been there, done that). I was soooooooo tempted to post a picture of Sir Lancelot chillin', smoking a doob!

Thanks Ggrant. I wouldn't mind using a garbage bag but I am trying to imagine how I would have it. Just a plant in an open bag, I have nothing to sit the bag in. I have been peeping my neighbors yards that has empty pots in it. No, I am not going to steal them. Just hoping I can catch them outside so I can ask if they are going to use them or do they mind letting me have them. I just don't want to run up on their house, ring the bell. There has been a lot of home invasions lately.

I do appreciate the ideas though. At the moment, I don't have room to add anything else. If all else fails I can buy some buckets I guess.

Here are some pics of the purpling stems..On one of the stems it is like purple pin stripes, the complete stem is not purple just stripes down it. I tried to take a pic of it but not sure how well it will show...

Also, I trimmed the roots of two of my plants, I still have one to go...

I also watered and fed nutes. If I have the energy I might just transplant Clone 1 to a gallon pot. But I am a bit tired so I prolly will wait til tomorrow to do it. Temp and humidity is on point. So I guess that's it for tonight.

thats what Corey and I thought about mine when they were doing this!!! but it wasn't it!!! we uped the Bloom and it didn't help it!!! it's a deficiency, just haven't pinpointed it just yet... I am still leaning towards sulfur!!! but it's under BPN investigation!!!

Sulfer def. causes purple stems...phosp. def. causes purple stems and leaves...

Sulfer can actually make the leaves turn yellow as well as the purple stemming, Sulfur and Manganese look a lot like Nitrogen deficiency!!!

Differences:
Nitrogen: causes yellowing of the leaves from the bottom(oldest) growth and climbs up...
Manganese: causes purple stemming and purpling of the calyx areas...
Sulfur: causes purple stemming, yellowing of the leaves, not only from the bottom growth, but even new growth is affected...

I have a soil tester for the NPK and when I was getting these I wanted to make sure that I was not lacking the Phosphorus... tested and it showed I had more than enough in there!!!

Which led me on the other areas of the problem!!! this is also why it is important to know the pH so that way you know what is being locked out!!!

So far, I had given them lemon juice, molasses, and boosted the nutes so far nothing has worked. Hopefully the CalMag will be here tomorrow so I can start using that. I hope that works, if it doesn't I really don't know what else to do. Thank the Goddess that it hasn't gotten as bad as the pic Aston posted. All I am getting is yellowing leaves and the purple stems. Since I have pulled the yellowing leaves, no more has turned yellow yet. And the target area for the yellowing seems to be at the bottom of the plants not the top.

Sorry I don't have a real update. Bf was admitted in hospital with chest pains, couldn't go with him, long story so I have been a little upset. Right now I am checking in trying to keep myself from being overly worried and laying next to him with chest pains of my own.

had my good man!!! the most recent issue that I had was the same issue that QTL is having was what I had with my GDP!!! this is why I have been commenting on this issue!!! once again!!! it is under BPN investigation

So did you ever figure out what it was with your GDP? I am just grateful that it hasn't gotten worse and hopes it will get better with the CalMag coming. If it doesn't then I don't know what to do other than what I have been or let nature take its course.

Thanks Mark. Right now he is connected to ekg and they don't know what is wrong. He passed out today when he took the garbage out. I didn't even know because I am hearing impaired and didn't hear when it happened.

Never got it figured out, but it stopped once I went into flowering!!! I still believe that my issue was sulfur, every feed I uped the Micro Nutes and it seemed to take care of the problem!!! But, now with the new formula, I am in a learning process again!!! but it's ok... it's what I do!!! BPN all the way!!! the new stuff has to be tested!!!

sorry to hear about your bf I know what he is going through I went through same thing about a month ago. stress and too much hash on top of berry kush they had every machine in the hospital hooked up to me but couldnt find anything wrong I was so embarrassed my wife made me promise to only smoke my own hash for now on lol. you just never know better to get checked out though. prayers going out for you and your man

I think a lot of it has to do with stress. He has been trying to find a job for the longest, putting in resumes and stuff. I think what may have taken it to the brink is a person he worked for before had told him he would hire him. But then when he went to see the person, he had hired someone else. At this point, they still haven't told him what's wrong. He just had a stress test done not long ago and on top of that he has a hernia.
