Now there you go speaking in tongues again...lol...6-4-4? Is that grow or bloom? I mean there is a lot of yellowing going on, on the very top. I was expecting this more at the bottom. I was thinking of pulling them but the fan leaves are right at the nodes and though I read where you're not suppose to pull those ones. Eh, I will throw some pics out there for advice, opinions, and what not. This is going on with plant 2, plant 1 is not doing this at all.....I really need to give these bitches some names.....

Ok plant 1 will now be known as CannaVanna and plant 2 will be known as Miss Buddalicious or Miss Budd for short...Not sure what to name the sprout that has flowered with them yet. Maybe I will name her Miss Miwa, since she seems to do what the hell she wants anyway....What ya think? Of course, you can tell who their name sakes are...lol...Then as each of my plants move to the flowering room they will be dubbed after someone here on the site.

Yah that's your eqivelant for grow big....it's close to 6-4-4...at this stage they will show a slight nitrogen def too....so the grow big is suppose to curb that appetite.....meanwhile not over doing a nutrient it's not concerntrating on for flowering......your schedule on BPN should still have you feeding them that grow too.....right?....let me know....word

As I was told by Corey before, you're suppose to use both grow and bloom which I have been doing faithfully. But I may not be giving them enough? The conversion thing from ml to tsp or tbs really confuses the hell outta me. At this point, I am mixing about a tbs and half to a gallon of water. If I need to be giving more I hope someone can tell me. I still have the FF nutes but using them along with BPN would be overkill wouldn't it?

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Just a little bump here...Hoping Ggrant will show up over here and take a look at pic number one which is now known as Miss Buddalicious formerly known as plant 2. Or if someone who is using BPN 2 part can give me some kind of help. Now I am wondering if I may be under feeding her...

Hi QTL ! Check with Corey. I would say DON'T use the FF nutes at the same time. You will bring bad Karma doing that. :smokin2:

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I think I will drop him a PM or maybe Aston can answer this for me as well. I like to think of Aston as Corey's wingman...lol...I love those guys!!!!

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

QTL, I see no signs of any kinda defficiency in those pics, just normal plants to me, of course it may be my screen, that's what I hate about not being able to see the plants live. I'mot familiar with the 2 part, it's the only BPN line I dont have, yet.

It does look like there is a little necrosis in them now that I look back once more, how close are they to the lights?? Is there a fan CONSTANTLY blowibng on that part of the plant, it kinda looks like wind burn or light burn?

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Hey queenie.. Don't use the FF with the BPN.....if I were you I would download a conversion app....for your phone to convert the liquids to metric.....apps are free....

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Great to see you back QTL, Ladies are looking beautiful as always, CannaVince looks to have minor mobile nutrient deficiency going on but wouldnt say there is anything to worry about, if you are PH'in make sure they are in check and the temps are in ideal range.

Thanks GS. I can't check the ph at the moment because I don't have a meter and I ran out of the chemical stuff I was using to check the ph.

GT--Necrosis? I do have a fan blowing on them but not at the top. The fan sits on the floor and from what I can see it is blowing directly around the bottom of the plant. I did have it set on high though. The past few days it has been running on medium. CannaVanna is close to the light but no where near where Miss Budd is. If I moved Miss Budd directly under the light, one of her branches would literally be touching the light. So, I moved her off to the left. She still receives plenty of light, she is just not directly under it.

Vince--Yeah, you're right. I have an android but I still have to get use to apps. I really forget about those. I thought giving FF on top of BPN would be definite overkill.

Other than that, nothing to update or report. Temps and humidity is where they should be. I don't see any other leaves turning yellow on CV and MB is doing just fine. I may be nosy and check out some trichs later. Water and molasses tomorrow when they wake up.

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Well, then it is not wind burn, that's for sure, it only happens when a fan is directly on a plant constantly.

I dunno. But let me try to explain to you how close the fan actually is to the plants. You may still be right. If you scroll back to pic number 3, where Miss Budd is at the closet door. Well the fan is usually a few inches back from that, so it is kinda close. I put it close because due to size of fan I could not put it in the closet with them. I do have pic of fan in my gallery so you can see just how big it is.

With the leaves being close to nodes should I just leave them be or pick them off?

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

QTL!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR BACK YOUR BACK YOUR BACK YOUR BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats good QTL!!! I was so worried that I was never going to type those letters again!!! LOL!!!

Now the wingman is here, cus brotha Corey is obviously still a very busy man!!! I agree with GT on the fan thing, I had the same thing happen to my GDP!!! at first I was thinking with the wind being constantly moved around, that the plant wasn't really getting any CO2!!! but I talked with our XO and he said that it wouldn't do that, but I have had the fan off for 2 weeks now and that was the last time I had seen this... I also had the same issue with my last set of plants, the BC God Bud, Blackberry, and Gods Gift... other than that, it looks like Nitrogen, if not that then Manganese... I have been reading around and actually found out that Sulfur deficiency does the same thing...

Do you have any purple stemming???

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Is this what you mean, on how close your fan actually is??? I think that you need to have a fan that osculates... I don't know if I spelled that wrong or not, but spell check says its cool!!! anyways, that is directly hiting, just like mine was... try pointing the fan down so it will bounce off the ground and go up to the plants... you want the blades to move slightly, like the spring time breeze just ran through her beautiful, moist, bulging....pistols... LOL!!! not a jet plane turbulence!!!

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Well Aston, the fan is big as hell, let me tell you, not many ways I can put that damn thing. I can move it further away from them. I plan on going by the dollar store prolly on Friday so I will see what kind of fan I can find. Maybe something way smaller that I can put in there with them. So should I turn my fan off, set it on low and move it further away? At the same time, I don't want the closet to get too hot either with the hps in there.

I just went and checked them real quick and moved the fan further away. CannaVanna is damn near bone dry, wtf? And Miss Budd is a little moist but I think she can handle some molasses and water. I have just started giving on a regular basis due to advice from Ggrant. So I got some water boiling on the stove now. Some of CannaVanna's stems are a little reddish purple but I chalked it up to being a DNA trait because there is nothing wrong with her. Miss Budd doesn't have any purpling at all. We still got a pistil explosion going on...
