QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Has any of you ever had a male to go "hermie"?

Back when I was growing my AK47's, I was growing out a male for pollen and it started growing buds on it..but they didn't take seed, they just stayed really small...but I did seed the females I was growing with this phenom male, so the potential for another herm male is still there.

I was told this was a super rare thing and I should try and harness this phenom for future seedling generations...IDK?

It was super cool and I did take those little buds and smoke them, just to see and it was descent too...how cool was that?

This was totally different than anything I've seen before and have never seen anyone have this male herm phenom since...anyone else?

Just a drop in the time bucket for me! :Namaste:

Ahh hell, OldMedMan...your the kind of cat that I dig the most...I have ALWAYS tried to hang with the older generation as I have learned so much good stuff that way.

I wish the younger generation would take this advice more, because this world needs to learn about things that are tried and true, instead of just flying by the seat of it's pants....like the young bucks do these days.

Older folks have more experience and patience in life and I'm all about doing things the right way so their's less chance of making mistakes ;)

I try to teach this concept to my son as well as all the young folks I meet...you can't go wrong with tried and true methods for most ANYTHING in life!!! :adore::Namaste:

Wow thanks for the info, Warrior and Aston. I will be adding these to my notes I have in notepad. Regen sounds kinda easy. Cloning, I dunno. So, harvest plant 1, regen it, then make it a mother, right? I have such ideas floating around in my head. Maybe have 3 mother plants? Plant 1, the lemon skunk and the big bang. Just a thought for now.

Well Warrior, your the kind of cat that I dig the most...too! Especially someone who teaches his kids what you do! We Americans just don't value the elderlies advise, like so many other countries do. Just the way we are.:Namaste:

My dad taught me that and I have taken that advice and ran with it all my life.

I almost lost my life one time, on Cabbage Patch Mountain in OR, while driving a big truck down it during an ice storm, until an older guy got on his CB with me and talked me down the hill by teaching me how to drive on the ice correctly!

I am alive today because of this theory, of listening to what older people have to teach me...and that's a fact!

This same thing applies to every aspect of my life and that's the reason I have been successful with every new adventure I've taken on, whether it be my job, Cannabis growing, deer hunting, fishing, driving trucks....Anything/everything! Always!!! :thumb:

Listen to those who know and you can't go wrong!!!

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

I just checked the tracking for my light on UPS. It has made it to NY so I should have it hopefully on Monday. So, the plan is to flush the plants out maybe tonight or tomorrow and start 12/12 on Sunday. When I checked before lights out, temp was at 73 and humidity at 45. After flushing should I give them nutes or just let them dry out first?

What is FP? I checked UPS site again, now it shows it is suppose to be delivered on Monday!!!! So psyched!!! I did flush the ladies when the lights came on and gave them some more nutes. I felt like I was drowing them by giving them all that water. I hope they don't droop on me. Going to start them on 12/12 tomorrow with the cfls then flip to the hps or mh light. I forget which one to use for flowering, think it is the hps. Room temp is reading 73 and humidity at 45 last time I checked. Will post pics tomorrow sometime.

Hey Warrior! :high-five:

You earned your name on that one. Sure glad you had a CB. That sounded like a real mess/adventure. One you only want to do once! Great when it's over...terrible while it's going on.

Thank goodness there are few of you left that listen.......I did as a kid and still do! :welldone:
