Putting On The Brix With Seedsman Genetics: Seedsman Sponsored Journal

Happy to report I have movement. By morning they will be above the surface. After my first two didn't germinate I dropped Seedsman's Afghan Kush and Seedsman's Girl Scout Crack. It was a tough decision as to what to pick. I have quite a few Seedsman genetics in my little box of mysteries and enchantment! :battingeyelashes: Time to make High Brix mischief with minerals, microbes, and magic ! :yahoo: A sprinkle of Doc Bud's Roots on the sponges, in go the seeds, add a little moisture, and a little heat...a star is born! I dropped one for the boy to have!

Nov 14, 2018 - Putting On The Brix With Seedsman Genetics – Sponsored Tandem Journal:welcome:

Happy Anniversary 420 family!!! :thanks:

What for you may ask? Two years ago TODAY, November 14, 2016, I learned of my scan results that diagnosed me with early FTD which is a variant of Alzheimer’s for young folks.

Two years ago today I collapsed in my husband’s arms and our tears became waterfalls of fear and acceptance of my immanent death. I can remember leaving the specialists building with my hubby and just crying. But I was also so glad that the gauntlet of medical testing finally found out what was happening to me. The scan results led to an OT assessment discovered my Executive Dysfunction. Kinda like stage 1 of this disease process and I was progressively declining daily.

So why am I so glad to share this, is because my health is not in decline. I am not the same person I was 2 years ago today. While I am too young to die, I’m to wise to let that happen. It’s not tragic, we all have to learn to live with our disabilities and learn to cope with our hardships. So we grow together. Growers supporting growers.

As we celebrate such a noble anniversary, I want to acknowledge that we can create positive change if we are strong enough to weather the storm of fear. If I can leave you with my vision, is that everyone here learns that my disease does not change who I am, nor does it change my heart, it attacks my execute functions which naturally makes me anti-social. What polar opposites this disease is. Because I always have so much love to give.

1. Type: Afghan Kush #1 & 2

Days: 1

Week: 1

RH: 65%

Strain: Mostly Indica (80% - 20% sativa?)

Description:

The sumptuous result of crossing an old school classic with a unique, modern strain, Afghan Kush has roots in both the past and the present.

Its Afghan lineage means that this is an indica dominant variety with phenomenal resin production and distinct hash aromas.

Afghan Kush also takes after its classic parentage in that it excels when grown outdoors; its resistance to pests and disease and its short flowering time of just 8-9 weeks mean that cultivating in warm climates can offer incredible results.

The flavours of this strain can be directly attributed to its LA Kush parentage. An earthy mix of pine and menthol, with a hint of lemon, the notorious West Coast taste is clear and immensely satisfying.

As with most indica varieties, Afghan Kush offers a whole body relaxation effect without losing the narcotic buzz of a high THC strain.

*The Afghan Kush took off as soon I put them in soil. I did soak them for a complete 48 hours, then by morning they were super freakin' nooow. Your girls are bangin'. Finally our mission has officially begun. :hugs:

Hiya Lady G2,

(standing ovation) Wonderful news that you're not in decline! So pleased for you. Pretty vivid picture in you dr's office. This too shall pass. On to the future.

@Bode = It feels like it was just yesterday, but my check up last week proved my blood pressure and sugar is NORMAL, not anymore infections, and only 1 suture left from my surgery. Thanks for spending this milestone with me Bode-a-cious.

@Pennywise - If I were a car I would rev my engine right now and peel out, just to show you how tuned up my engine is now. Always grateful for your pep talks coach, I must be doing something right.

:circle-of-love:Happy Anniversary LG2HM! You know how to overcome and persevere like no one else I know.:hugs::hugs:

Mine are itty bitty but above ground with their little cotyledons waving at me. They are not too green, though. Concerns me a little...but they just unfurled. The stems are strong, though. The go in the tent tonight with my smaller light only. I predict they will be fine!:yahoo: I'll do pics tomorrow when they have a day to look at their new home!

I've been wondering about you. Certainly glad you're alright. Have been wondering if you had dropped beans yet, and I see you have. Also been wondering if you've been back to the horse stables. Oh, and congratulations on your National Heritage (not saying it right) award and prize.
One more thing - The Quarter Pounder is a great smoke. It's had time to cure (not 3 months) and is a very nice buzz. The reason I mention it is because of the cbd content. 2:1 cbd to thc seems to be a great ratio for medical purposes (as I've been reading).

Glad to hear from you again! Cya :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

@LadyGaea - I'm sooooo happy we are spending this day together, united, one journal one LOVE! YOU rock my world sis! You're so inspirational :hugs:
Back atcha! I have a lot to learn from you Sis! You have strengths that I can benefit from. It's gonna get super green in here! :green_heart::hugs::hugs::hugs:
