Ok purple people I grabbed a couple of final pics of my blackberry kush and also got a couple of my mimosa x orange punch. I'm jus waiting on the soil to dry out a bit more but everything is getting the chop as I'm going away and need everything in jars awaiting my return.
The blackberry kush has had plain water for the last few feeds but she refuses to fade lol the rest are using their reserves.

When I'm back I will get some bud pics too just can't wait to try them!

Cheers nick, she's a auto unfortunately. If she was a photo I would have her clones loaded wall to wall for a field of purple
I just grabbed a few purple autos to run with my mother plants and she took off with little care from me so I'd definitely recommend her to anyone I give the breeders all the credit.

Glad to gear that really I am. Yeah, nitrogen seems to be a mandatory ingredient for most nutrient types - I get the feeling a lot of plants would get a real high dose of it. Its in micro, grow, bloom and the bloom booster too I think.

I will do a before and after. Based on the pics I posted yesterday and the fact I'll be increasing light by 8 hours daily and that they are really starting to notice the bloom booster and bud candy I've added to the mix. I'm checking trichs every 2nd feed atm

Checking trichs of my eldest two. Will be 12 weeks tomorrow. Any advice please they look pretty clear to me but I'm alien to checking this out and making any form of decision. Apologies if pics aren't great. I've tried to avoid the hairs and find the trichs on the actual bud itself

How they look now won't matter come harvest.
But good pics and good practice.

Thank you Bill. I'll give another week or so and check again.

I've got lights on 100% @ 20/4. Currently hanging 21" from one and 19" from the other. Lights are at the highest they can reach as my youngest two have grown far taller them my eldest two, I've had to raise the lights constantly to accommodate them. I have pots on 4" raised platforms (for air flow obv)

Am I needing to reduce the amount of nitrogen then I guess. I'm sure they won't miss it if I take away the 'grow' like you say?

I used AN on my first grow. I thought the same thing and cut down on the GROW during flower on one plant, and ended up with deficiencies on that one plant. If you look at the bottle the GROW is 1-0-4 (mostly K, not N) and has most of the Magnesium for the AN base. You're probably better off sticking to the AN schedule, and definitely don't decrease the GROW. If anything, decrease the MICRO at 2-0-0 (check the Ca/MG first).

Hi Nick...

Yes dude full spec. 100%.

I've now sent the two taller ones to the back and brought the shorter two forward. I've left the light at the back at the current height and adjusted the other to 11". Company guidance says 12"-16". I'll leave it at 11" for a few days and see how I go.

I'm hoping over the next 2-4 weeks I see big changes. I spend time with them 3 or 4 times a day so visible changes are minimal really

Doing some research into this myself dude. My next grow I'm thinking of concentrating on just two plants. Maybe growing slightly differently. Would be good fun to follow two experiments. Two killer strains. I've decided on one.

I constantly push nutrients and light energy.
Gets me huge healthy girls.

Weekend is going alright thanks dude. Typical weekend really. Spending a bit of time with my lad in between the house work - my mrs is 6 months gone so trying to keep her off her feet as much as possible. I'm quite lucky cause while she's sleeping and lazing around I can spend more time with my set up and indulge on all bud porn on here

How is everyone today?

So I've been adjusting my heater up and down to get that happy medium. Not quite there yet but not far off either. Its just been difficult cause the temps outside are all over the place this time of year in the UK - I'm set up in my shed so temps outside the tent are up and down like a yo yo.

Today the tent has been warmer than usual. I opened her up at 30.5°c. Not necessarily a bad temp I'd say, althought to warm for late bloom?

What I'm getting at is my pots have dried out alot quicker than usual. Where does the land lie if this happens and your feeding more often as a result? I'm sticking to the cycle of water, nutes, water, nutes etc until I flush - but I can't not feed when the pots are dry, can I? Could they be getting fed to many nutrients as a result of this?

If you have to fight the elements I understand.
Can you put the heater on a thermostat.
In flower buds like a lower temp, without C02.
I try for a pot temp of 18 c, I have a @VIVOSUN probe.
If you can keep temp under 28 that would be best but I understand.
In flower it's best to keep the roots well fed.
We don't do a dry cycle so lots of nutrients constantly so they have everything they need while building buds.
Try your best not to let them get too dry.
It is what it is and we all do our best with what we have available.

I've just got another smaller heater for the shed itself, to keep the temp around the tent warmer than what it is. That should help me. Saying that - i done some working out and my electricity bill has gone up £18 a week since I started. Where would you say that lies on the costing scale dude?

Am I going alright with the water, nute, water, nute..and so on? Or shall I just go nutes nutes nutes now they're really bulking up....
