Turning off blurple now. 2 minutes....

👌🏻✌🏻
To be honest now the lights are off. The dark and glossy look doesn't seem as bad as it does under the blurple. I think the dropping is they need a feed. Was on 27° when I opened up. Normally 24-26° so I've tweeted my new heater just a little to high. Would you stay at 27°?

I'm feeding the attached nutrients. Every other feed. Working out every 4/5 days or thereabouts. Water feed in between.

Since I've upped the light to 20/4. Day 3. Pistils are really turning orange.

Bur new heater has upped the temp. Meaning they're drying out quicker and need feeding more often

Amen to that!!

I’m old fashioned I guess, I just like the smell and taste of burning flower. I really like my cop neighbor smelling it too but what’s the best is when he invites his cop buddies over for a Cookout. Lmao CL🍀

Love that dude. That would give me the utmost satisfaction too. Do you get much growing done captain?

I was just growing outdoors and just started growing indoors and it’s been a learning curve for sure. Plus I’m growing all 100% Sativas and each plant has different needs. But I think I have them all dialed in now. CL🍀

Top picture no worries- though its hard to tell because of the light range because of your lights. The bottom one the leaves seem much narrower and more claw like - is that what you see with your eyes on the plant or just a trick of the perspective?

Sorry - is it the same plant? There are top flowers and then just some big ole fans up top.

Nick
Sorry Nick I just noticed this.

I think the claw like look is just drooping, asking for a feed. They didn't look as bad once I got rid of the blurple, but still a lot darker than the other - considering they are the same strain and what not. Wouldn't of expected them to alter in colour so much. They are fed the same amounts and as often as each other. The only real alterations ive made lately are increasing the temp with a better heater and adding bloom booster/bud candy to the feed

Brilliant. Having the luxury of growing outside and guaranteed weather to back it up would be epic for someone like me ✌🏻👌🏻

Bro them's some beautiful looking plants.

They look a bit too lush and green to me. Stress them out by upping the lights and pushing up the EC and Co2 until they just stress on the edges. Unless you’re into pretty pixtures of perfect health weed plants. I love those. But those plants will deliver way more flower in 3 weeks, especially you give them some massive hits the next week or so.

My 2c’s

I get the feeling she's going to give me the most pleasure. She's being real kind. So so easy to grow. Looks absolutely gorgeous as well I wish I had a professional camera to get some proper shots

If you can move or remove some of those fan leaves from blocking your buds from getting light you’ll have a better harvest. My 2 cents. CL🍀

Nitrogen toxicity about to start.
What is the ml/l of the " Grow " component of your nutrients.
What is the recommendation right now in flower?
Different strains have different needs.
The schedule is generally designed for the average plant / soil.
During flower only a minor amount of Nitrogen is required.
But they look great actually. :welldone:

4ml per litre buddy. I just fed the same again about 10 mins ago 🤦🏻

Am I needing to reduce the amount of nitrogen then I guess. I'm sure they won't miss it if I take away the 'grow' like you say?

Thank you Bill

Good morning SC. :ciao:
Cut the grow from 4ml/l to 3ml/l that should reduce nitrogen a bit and still give you plenty for growth.
See how that does. :thumb:

Yeah like Bill says - mine Dutch Pro - is separate veg/flower A/B, for both the max (later veg and late flower) they recommend is 2.5-3.5ml /litre. I appreciate yours are different but it seems high at 4ml.

We run 4.5ml on a banging flower week but we are pumping Co2 in there at high levels 12 hours a day with warmer temps and Rh. Its very different. Without Co2 we’d be at the middle of that range I guess. 3ml. Chatting to Cap’n about this. Think it maybe happens less now but there was a habit of some fert companies to over state the required to sell more product to the home grow market. The commercial guys figure it out pretty quick because we buy in 20L minimum jerry cans and when you get to my mate that means 9L (2 gallons?) A and 9L B plus everything else each day for like knowing what he uses I guess he’s putting in 25L a day in total. Its expensive to put in even 0.5ml/litre more at that price. At least the water is pretty much free 😂

Nick

We get 3 days out of a 200L tank mix in flower, max.

That’s 200ml cal mag, 900ml A, 900ml B, 150ml Total, 400ml Filler (That only costs like $2) and 400ml Bloom Explode (That costs $35 alone for the 400ml for 3 days food - in veg it would be root boost which is the same price 😅)

So yeah err on the lower end of the manufacturer's guidelines unless you have good reason to go higher. My mix costs maybe $25 a day for the girls!

Thanks Nick 🙏🏻

As it's my first grow I've never really sat down and worked out what it's costing me. I should really - I could probably found now If I dug out some bills and done some maths.

I do know my electricity bill is quarterly and from when I started in January it's come in pretty high, but that's including my whole household too. If I yield enough and never have to spend a bean on any green again, it should be worth my while. I'm smoking about £100 a week right now (half oz). My smoking bill comes in higher than anything else for sure 😅

When I upped lights to 20/4, I also upped nutes 20%. Should I subtract my 'grow' or 'bloom' element of the feed? There getting bloom booster now anyway.....

I’m not sure giving more hours of light means 20% more nutes. I’d have lengthened the lighting period and watched and waited a few days. If you’re seeing problems then i would immediately take off that 20%

Also the Booster stuff is mostly just potassium “Special K” so I’m using a cheap one from now on! But you do want to ease it in. We go in 3-4 day feeds from 0.5 - 2ml p/l of that over a few weeks. Gradually introducing it. Mixing my first flower mix for the new grow this evening. They’re on Day #2 after flipping. I won’t be adding any bloom booster. They’ve been up potted for just two days.

I’ll switch to Flower A/B and a full suite sweet mix. But I’ll be adding the Root booster for the next few days still. So in three days I might flush. Hmm there’s a thought for me to ponder. Or I might make something the same but 0.5ml Bloom Boost instead of 1.5g Root Boost.

Try and keep it gradual and unless “Raising the gas and dropping the lights” as I’ve been known to do at the slightest hint of a problem (Don’t do that, well unless you know what you’re doing or run extremely lucky which is how I got away with it!)

Also - this is an edit @Weffalo ran Autos his first grow and sure he had hassles with judging veg to flower switch nutes. He might have some gen.

Change one thing and wait a day or so. See what happens.

I get that. It was ultimately cause they are in bloom now, I thought going in with more nutrients would be better than not feeding enough. Under estimated how strict plants are with the amount of nutrients they require or those they have had enough of.

Next feed is a water feed anyway. I'm going to re check trichs again later. Buds are really starting to form and bulk out now so I'll get a better gauge of where I'm at this evening.

I will reduce nutes for next feed back to normal, with less than normal nitrogen included. Plants are healthy but what puzzled me most was with the difference in leaf colour considering they are the same strain, same supplier - presumably from the same plant.

May be a silly thought....but growing multiple strains in such close proximity. Any adverse effects resulting in doing that? I'm sure I've seen posts of exactly that on here, I'm guessing it's fine...

Thank you 😊 🙏🏻 as always

Ok purple people I grabbed a couple of final pics of my blackberry kush and also got a couple of my mimosa x orange punch. I'm jus waiting on the soil to dry out a bit more but everything is getting the chop as I'm going away and need everything in jars awaiting my return.
The blackberry kush has had plain water for the last few feeds but she refuses to fade lol the rest are using their reserves.
