Woah! Like birthday and Christmas combined!
Hey :ciao:
I'm trying to keep up with your new grow room.
Can't let you have all the fun of a new set up.
I'm going to try and do some firewood before the big snow storm.
But I'm not moving too well.
Then drywall.
Wooooo hooooo:woohoo:
Hope your doing well.

Breaker panel is installed.
6" x 6" junction box supplying the work shop area and lights in the non grow areas.
Each room will have 2 - 15 amp breaker’s.
One for the lights.
And a separate breaker for any fans or devices.
And a double breaker for the greenhouse plug.

Main panels are mounted on 1/2" plywood for support
Then I cut a piece of 1/2" drywall to fit
behind the panels for fire protection.

Looks good, Bill. Glad to see everything is bonded together for grounds! Very important people especially with metal boxes.
What line voltage you running, 220?

I've got a 60 amp 240 volt 2 pole breaker going in the panel. Federal.
# 8/4 teck cable from the house panel to the room.
A disconnect within 6' of entrance.
Then that feeds 4 -15 amp split breakers in a Siemens panel, I believe.
That gives me 8 -15 amp circuits.
Each room will have 2 circuits.
1 for lights and one for fan's and accessories.
All run through 14/2 BX surface mounted for versatility.
I can always move or add any plugs I want that way.
No holes or air leaks for plugs.
110 volt radiant floor heating, set in 100 lbs of concrete, hopefully with marble on top. Hehe
We see but white tiles minimum.
I'll have 220 v available for a heat pump if needed.
A/C probably though.
And 220 v available to supply the greenhouse in the spring.
Shoot with any questions.
I'm going to do firewood.
Talk when I'm done.
Take care.

My build has been pauses since my last long post here on the “how to” not sure if you saw it. Need the builders back to seal it up, hopefully tomorrow as I have a couple of Bruce Banners nearly ready to finish. 3 weeks maybe. 18 clones and lots of new new seeds coming in the next 48 hours. So need to get my timing together.

Went out to my buddy’s farm today he’s building 😂 Wow. 8 greenhouses, two flower and drying buildings. Maybe 1.5x football pitches total area. Showed me the 1000 he popped last week as a “starter” 🤣 Was a fun trip. Will def be back there soon as the build completes.

I’m just not able to sand.
Bad enough bringing in fire wood.
Knee’s and back aren’t great.
But just can’t manage sanding so I’ve been talking short cuts using latex where I can.
5x5 completely dry walled now inside.
Some mud where I could still raise my arms.
I’ll insulate with vapor barrier from the work shop side.
Need’s tidied up.
Some paint and a floor.
Actually the more I think about it t should tile the walls part way eventually.

Missed this one, see it's not great.
Rh in house is 18% would be brutal to grow inside with this fire going.
Howie likes to relax in font of the fire.
Staying warm, he gets cold helping me build the VIVOHUT.
He is planning our next coco grow.

Awesome man! Looks like that Siemens gray.
Speaking of Siemens….. get to have some fun and reconfigure some drives, and install a new dc inverter! 😑

020B6CFC-70D7-4140-910B-EE6A601B3C18.jpeg
I love that they installed a window shaker in the door.
Anyone else notice that.
Was it designed to run that many drives/inverter?
Overheating was an issue at one point.
That skid of twine , are you working beside a packer/ bailer?
Is that a roll of ground wire on your computer cart?
#8 bare , what's that like $500 a roll now?
It's crazy just buying some bx.14/2 $$$
Thankfully I got a deal on the teck cable.
Just wish Howie finished burying before it snowed. ;)
Talk soon my friend.

I'm having trouble getting my builder to finish aswell. Fek.
Honestly I'm wrecked.
Can't lift my arms above my head.
Just pushing too much, trying to finish. :woohoo:
8 greenhouses, wow that's awesome.
Be careful if you bring home clones.
Segregate them and watch for pests or disease.
Quarantine them.
And in the future.
Will save a disaster.
When are they finishing?

Rh in house is 18% would be brutal to grow inside with this fire going.
I think I do not too bad growing without having a perfect environment.
I Don't run a humidifier run maybe 20 to 30 % in the winter 60% summer
When it gets cold I burn wood, helps keep the basement warm & the plants
Don't have a temp controller on my room gets heat from furnace duct run to the floor
I use the bare necessities
Homemade leds 325watt for 4x4 Sunshine #4, Ph perfect nutes (never check) rainwater
temps are 15c to 26 c
Can get 3-4 oz a plant
I have more than I can smoke & anybody that has smoked it says it's better than the gov't weed

Are you trying to make me feel bad.
I can't grow inside every again.
Even though I bought this house partly because of the 12' ceilings in the 2 spare bedrooms.
One veg one flower but fire stopped that.
So detached from the house is my only choice.
I get temps of - 30 in the winter so what ever I built had to be well insulated.
It's a forever grow facility, I'm not moving ever again.
So might aswell do it the way I want it, instead of cobbling together a Jerry rigged shed.
I went to town. Hehe
As is my want. ;)
I'm so glad your able to get a great harvest with the conditions you have.
Fantastic. :thumb:
I might as well perfect the conditions at this point and see what I can grow.
I ran a Perpetual harvest in my 2 flower rooms. 55 girls including veg.
2 or 3 pounds every 4 weeks with minimal effort.
Just had good conditions .
I don't need any sort of volume now.
Just want to see how good I can grow those @Herbies Seeds with the @VIVOSUN equipment.
Also you know a good nutrient sponsor in Canada that's got decent customer service?
Just wondering?
Anyone know?
Thanks.
Take care Joe.

Thanks Amigo. :thanks: @Joe Brewster
I grew in bad conditions at first.
1000w hps, 29 c and 40 rh.
I got a harvest but didn't really get solid solid nugs until I got control of the environment.
And installed 3900w of LED's .
That dropped the temps and helped with rh.
Still had to perfect vpd to really get those purple terpy bushy girls.
But there are lots of members pulling great bud from not great conditions.
I haven't received a reply from Mr Remo,
Long story.
So RX and GF won't ship to Canada anymore.
Even though I won lots of their stuff.
So I need a Canadian Supplier who is a sponsor?
I can't believe Canadians have to go through this nonsense.
I just want a sponsor in Canada with some customer service?
Suggestions?
@Krissi Carbone :ciao:
Still have the same problem we discussed previously, months ago.
Still no response.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I love that they installed a window shaker in the door.

😂 bad control cabinet designs/decisions.
Those doors are supposed to have cooling units inside them. The replacements are crazy expensive, German stuff. So we install 3 phase fans intake/exhaust out the tops and sides for airflow. We just had to replace another cooling unit during the summer that sits on the freaking top of the cabinet man… which is so dumb to me cause it’ll eventually leak water all over high voltage dc bus bars , breakers, relays, even drives, etc… it’s stupid! I just fix it 🤷‍♂️
Was it designed to run that many drives/inverter?
Overheating was an issue at one point.
That skid of twine , are you working beside a packer/ bailer?
It’s a treating line that treats nylon, Kevlar, polyester blend cords for rubber reinforcement.
That 1 spool is probably 22,000 meters long.
Is that a roll of ground wire on your computer cart?

Hey Cap'n. :high-five:
It's an old German gentleman selling out of his farm.
Did all the deliveries himself.
Then he got an exclusive deal with a licensed producer in Ontario.
So his product is gobbled up by them.
Its hard to get now.
I have 2 bag's left.
One is @Rexer 'S :ciao:
Hey Rex what is the product you found that was similar?
Thanks. :thanks:

Hope you can get some rest soon. That site manager Howie is one slave driver, I hear.

Yep with the clones they’re going to be all on their own. Just need to shuffle things around between the room and the tent. I think realistically 7-8 days and I’ll have things fully set in different stages/rooms. Ceiling dehumidifier shipped from China yesterday so maybe 5 days for that. Some lights for the veg space.

Have an idea for a home made adjustable trellis and built in watering stuff. Do that my self. An afternoon with a big pile of PVC pipe, connectors and glue is in my future. Need to sketch it out this afternoon.

Take it slow and steady mate!
