And Howie seem to enjoy the spring :circle-of-love: Hope you enjoy it too. These plans looking super great
There's around 30 cups but I don't expect that many babies. ;)
I'll kill a few for sure.
Enjoy the cottage my friend.

f. me that is a tubing route par excellance. Climate and landscape is so aggressive 'out west' that a good day's tube is hard to find. One good one exists on S. Island but people still die on it every year, and not always from drunkenness. If I were in charge of heaven, and it existed, I would reserve large portions for tubing. Man, the childhood memories are Huck-Finn-like. Thanks for that, for real. I used to wear a mask and dive for golf balls, then resell them to golfers at the gates of the course, until the golf pro came to run me off. I'd be back that day or the next of course. "It's a free country arsehole - and you're a 'golf-pro', don't take it out on the rest of us." I think to myself 40 years later, and thought to myself then.
All summer when I was unpacking in the 80 degree heat there was group after group going by.
Kids on a 12' high swan it was hilarious.
Great big thing they all kept jumping off and having a ball.
With the parents and coolers not far behind.
There are a few spots to park and launch then pick up.
So you can have a quick trip to cool off.
Or take an afternoon and relax for miles and miles.
We just park the car down river where we want and hop in.
Great fun.
Sunk many golf balls, never had the guts to jump in after them.
There was enough in the pine straw to keep us busy.
I'll have the river scoped out for the good pools in no time.
I found a couple close by, I can't wait.

Oh yeah, turns out it was 420 staff that erred and added the "VP" to my completed journal. A relief actually. Don't have to test my tea for Pulmonium35 after all. Notice how whenever you type Mega Crop it's replaced with "420"? Just so you know, that's what I mean when "I" say "420". Not that this will make a lick of sense 10 minutes from now...

You make Canad-ia sound like a magical place Bill. I'll may never go there because of the lack of white sandy beaches with tropical drinks :surf:, but you make it sound like a slice of paradise...

Sun was so nice yesterday. :green_heart:
My first day in the warmth since probably September, 8 months of cold, hehe.
Just a perfect day.
Hopefully pickerel fishing today.
Had a couple casts yesterday but didn't have any time for fun.
Today is my day off.:thumb:
Like I have a busy job.
Take care my friend

I'll tell you what I'll learn to make tropical drinks if you forgo the white sand, and your welcome anytime.
I suggest August if you want to fly fish and go tubing.
Otherwise ice fishing is an option.
Thank you my friend, I still can't believe it's my life. :green_heart:
Hope you are happy where you are too.:)

I fish with a bobber and a beer, and attempt to eat anything that falls victim to my hook and nightcrawler. You keep throwing out invitations and you'll have me on your doorstep looking to taste one of those 30 plants your farming. I travel like a gypsy with a bad gambling habit.
It's a good life here too though. Got a deep freshwater lake and my pontoon boat, got fancy restaurants and dive bars to spend my money in, a Racetrack by the highway, there's a Harbor Freight nearby... couldn't ask for much more.

SPRING!!! Bill, we’ve had the coldest April in my 30 years here, S. Van Isle, but the last couple days, though unsettled, have been glorious. All the plants have their fresh new greenery, unbleached by sun and un-nibbled by critters. The lush variation here astounds. Did you know that 20% of earth’s oxygen is generated by the microscopic oceanic greenery growing, around now, within 150 miles of the BC coast? And, that the zooplanktons mixed in with them account for the largest seasonal-only animal population in the world, by weight? Impressive given the wee fekkers weigh fek all.

Hard pressed to recall this is suburbia, on some afternoons. Point her in a direction and watch nature’s genius unfold.

I'm so glad you found yours.
Absolutely beautiful already my friend.
And I love your posts I always learn some interesting fact.
Not always grow related but interesting facts.
Your green thumb is in full display. :thumb:
Not a Hobbie you just picked up I see.
I'm not much for fancy bushes and plants, I love to see them just don't have the time to landscape usually.
But seeing your yard gives me an idea of how much money beautiful it could be.
Maby when I finish the upgrades I'll give it a shot.
Keep those pics coming all summer please. ;)

@ReservoirDog :ciao: those three yellow bags are Frass & Dazzle.
Worth their weight in gold.
Proprietary blend of insect frass an a couple secret ingredients.
Amazing stuff, made it worth the drive just to get them.
My soil is going to be so alive I can't weight.
Especially since I added the @DYNOMYCO Amazing stuff works with the fungi I infuse its a great method.
I also add bokashi sorry forgot to mention for fungi.
The roots are so well taken care of that they give me a beautiful plant in return.
Love washing me some roots.
Oh yeah I grabbed coco cubes and easy cubes for clones fantastic, you have to try them.
And the old growers staple Super thrive ;)
Winter Princess got cooked really bad in the window on the first really sunny day, she needs help.:(
Funny thing local grow shop up here I asked for superthrive he said we don't carry that line of nutrients. Palm to the forehead.
Bag of fox farms over $70.00 oh Fer fek sake.
Cost $25.00 in my truck just to get there and back that's a $100.00 bag of soil.
Food basics here I come #speedingtickethehe
$2.98 a bag if you buy more than 4, hold on let me back in there.
I've got a mish-mash of everything I could beg borrow and steal, it's going to be great.

You guys are killing me... every autumn salmon the size of my thighs (and I'm an endomorph!) flood the creek-intertidal thingy in my backyard, and I can't do anything but wish them well and harass the seals - to slow'em down a bit you understand. Every March, some adventurous herring slip on by - same deal: No-touchy-allowed-y. I could fish with a bamboo spear, by sight! However, fishing moving freshwater is my undisputed favourite, no competition. Taking a strike from a musclebound trout in 15kn current, whoo-hoo...little bit of wee comes out every time. But, I haven't done it a long while, access would take real commitment, and gear collection is awfully thin. You guys are killing me.... for gawdsakes, don't stop!

Nothing more fun than trying to reel in a freight train with an 11 foot noodle rod and 6lb test line.
My buddy has 40 acres on the Nottawasaga river.
That’s where I salmon and trout fished before I moved.
Teddy is going to kill me but here goes.

This gentleman is from the MNR doing some study on salmon population.
I ran up the hill and watched him . Hehe I say ran:rofl: but c'mon
See the device on his chest, connected to a 25' pole?

Woah!! Is that actually a lake? looks like a clear water pond

Fuggit, bring it on.

Quite the portrait! You'll have to tell me how you got sunglasses on a pike!

This is totally grow-related. Discussion of methods for acquiring fertilizers makes up practically half this forum.

I hope I haven't frigged your thread. I'm not super 'message board' savvy.

btw I recalculated and looks like I exaggerated. I've been out on the coast fulltime since 95, not 30 yrs. and I've come and gone for a year or two here and there but my oldest daughter is here and my parents too - followed me out. Lived in Nelson BC area b4 that. Anyway, its always home base. Another daughter in The Netherlands, also the 'ancestral home' - my folks born there and I love both countries to the bone. So much. Lookin at it now, kinda looks like I just followed the weed my whole adult life... might be something to that...
