My first time on shrooms was with Grateful Dead posters and various other objects to stare at with a black light in the background. I couldn't stop laughing, definitely the laughing gas shrooms and you cry laughing ALL night. The visuals were amazing to say the least. My favorite trip of all time thus far is LSD, I remember SO much of that trip. Even coming down and still hitting pretty decent, my buddy had a bad ass stereo system and he played No Quarter and I just melted. I couldn't stop listening to the Houses of the Holy (cassette tape) after that experience. It isn't my favorite Led Zeppelin Record, but it will always be that experience that separates that song(and album) from others. It's still one of my favorite songs from them No Doubt.

Nice i cant wait till i hit tht spot lol. When u say spawning a tub do u mean mixing a jar or bag of mycelium into ur substrate? Or does tht mean ur letting the shrooms grow out?

but yea i jus redid some of the grains again an jus taped them like this lol. I didnt wana take any chances hahaha. Plus only filled them this much with grains.

The grains kinda felt alil moist but maybe im wrong but either way i saved alil till 2day to fill some jars n try it with grains tht sat out over night. But even still the ones i pc'ed lastnight with the tape still had alil moister on the lid top an the grains looked wet but they all moved around like they were dry so i tried 2 more F+ amd then 2 of the Columbian Rust as well. But this is what they looked like b4 i inoculated them.

Ill be taking the grains i left out over night on a towel to fill the rest of my jars u think ill still b able 2 use it or is it not gud now tht it sat out over night?
 
Yeah it won't be long until I have some fresh mushrooms. The first thing I'm going to do is cold water extract the psilocybin to make blue juice. From there I'll use it to make some gummies, something I've wanted to try for a while now.

Yeah mixing up your mycelium and substrate is what I call spawning. They will need a week or two to colonize the substrate and then fruit.

The grains should be fine, when I've soaked mine I had to let them dry out on newspaper for a day before PCing.

Ye i figure id jus get 2 2footers then put them on the top of the tote wen it comes time to fruit them.
 
I just have to remember to turn my closet light on and off. It's $40 to buy a wifi enabled switch I can program and have dimmable of an app, might be worth the investment.

The closet has led flat panels for drop in ceilings but I have an aluminum frame from the Zon made for flush mounting them. They're 4000k and 5000 lumens, the (2) 2'x4' panels and frames were $150. It has white walls, tile floors to stay clean, and outlets to run my fan and humidifier.
 
Alright guys, the Aussie spawn is just about fully consolidated, just a little more on the top, but that will finish out by the end of the day. I'm waiting on supplies to transfer to AGAR and to other grains. I am no longer doing Open air inoculations(Aussie shot open air) since I am moving forward and trying to do things the right way and learn more about the hobby in general. I want to feel like I'm doing lab work, instead of cleaning an area thoroughly and shooting spores which does work, but it's not the future of what I want to do with Agar and Liquid Cultures eventually. Anyway, OH, I did get my F+ and Albino A+ syringes on Saturday, I can't wait to play with some fresh syringes. I also ordered up 20 dishes, some telephone brand AGAR, and golden light malt extract. TIME to have some fun this Winter. Enjoy!

P.S I also shook up the other jar yesterday and is starting to recover again. It will take off now with multiple points of spores. It was a tiny spot on its own, so it's kind of an isolate, but NOT really. :rofl:

I just gave my second round of inoculated grains a mixing this and got that wonderful mushroom aroma. It made my mouth water. Once I get off this conference call for work I'm going to go mix up some monotubs so I'll get even more of a mushroom smell here shortly. I was lazy yesterday and put everything off to sit in the garden and smoke myself stupid in the nice weather.
