This is sphincter clenching stuff right here. Part of me is expecting to open the tent one morning to find that they've strangled themselves or caught fire or worseO, what a tangled web we weave when first we put 7 plants in a single pot!
That's probably what I'll do. I'd prefer it to be a clench free ride but if it has to be one of those days then bring it onIt's not my grow obv, but if it were I would tie them wide when they get to their final tent and trim them up as you usually do. Of course, sphincter clenching might be on the list of things you enjoy, so there's that!
Blue OG....
It's still going good. I can't quite recommend it as a viable option just yet but so far it's been pretty awesome. Update coming right up!Hey ... this is working out really well!
I have two plants in 40 litre (10 gallon) pots and 40 litres (10 gallons) of leftover FF Ocean Forest soil.
I am now seriously thinking about getting a 132 litre (35 gallon) rectangular tote and giving this a shot!
And I'm still rooting for Blue OG of course

The 7 Wonders Of My Grow Room....
Yesterday I decided to give them their defol. I have no idea what day we're on. I was supposed to check before I did this update but I forgot and instead of just having a look I've decided to give you this long winded explanation of why I've not. Oh well, I find out afterwards. All are looking pretty good. There's some nice looking plants amongst the group. Well, there were before I went mental with the snips. Here's what they looked like last night....
Who'd like to see some pics of naked ladies?....
Ouch! Don't worry, we've been here before
Yes. Yes it is.Sunday
No matter how many times I do it I'm always surprised at how well they recover from these extreme trims. I wouldn't be surprised if I had to give them another light trim in 2 weeks time.Cool! Those budlets are definitely exposed to the light and the air!!!
They grew outwards naturally and it looks like they would do well in a space of their own.
In a few weeks you'll never know they were defoliated.
im going to increase the MasterBlend on the next watering as they seemed to handle the last one without any noticeable problems. It's going to look pretty cool in a few weeks if they all continue to play ballWow, the Magnificent Seven really grew out fast. Going to be a neat finish me thinks.
Yes. Yes we have lol.Don't worry, we've been here before
A little leaf tucking can go a long way. I've defol'd many autos; my experience is that they don't like heavy defol but can tolerate light clippings throughout the entirety of the grow.Yes. Yes we have lol.
Looks great prof. Kinda curious to see how auto's handle defoil because everyone goes on about not stressing them. Have you defoiled an auto before? I think I want to try auto's indoor after my next couple of runs thinking fast buds any other recommend auto's breeders? Hope your having a good weekend buddy.
Thanks P. Never thought of leaf tucking makes sense though also with auto's being a little smaller it's probably easier to get light penetration lower down on the plant. I was thinking lst would probably work well on an auto I've been happy with how it has worked out with my Gz I am running now starting the training earlier has really paid off. I prefer to start my plants in smaller pots then work my way up to bigger pots as the roots get more established so if that would work for auto's that would be great. Just think there are some really cool auto strains out there don't think they are the best yeilders generally so I am hoping to get a bit of a stockpile after running my photos so I'm not relying on them yielding well.A little leaf tucking can go a long way. I'd tuck leaves as much as i can to free up light to the bud sites. If it can't be tucked, I'll clip it off
There are many stigmas surrounding autos. I'm not sure if genetics are really getting better or i just have a steady hand now laugh but topping & training is pretty much the norm around here. Transplants don't generally cause issues.
Either way, autos still have a mind of their own. Some are just sassy little bitches. LoL
I transplant autos from cups all the time. But.... that is the only time i transplant them. Not tryin' to push my luck. LoLThanks P.
