Look HG, they cracked....
IMG_20210308_103623.jpg

temps def hit mine during the heatwaves in summer. too many non starters after so much positive sucesses .lol. went back to the coco in the tray and no contact with the seed and it has just been a total success for the past 3 germ runs. plugs catch the seed husks too easily , coco plugs can get too compacted but not show it till the seed is stuck so coco it was back to coco loose
And I just put these 2 seeds into some coco. I got some coco plus this time. It has nutrients and is apparently pH stable and can be watered without any pH adjustment. I will still adjust to 5.5 though as I don't know how long the buffer will last.

I think they're good. They have both popped up today.
Congrats on the cracked freebies Professor!
They're probably autos, knowing my luck. Both were viable though.
I start to dig the title on this journal

Inferno is blasting Prof. :passitleft:
Cheers TC. Got a late update coming up shortly which will feature plenty more greasy flower pics.

Flowering Day 42

Hey 420. This is actually Mondays update but I have been a little preoccupied as of late. Apologies. Also the pics have been taken with the phone for this one as the memory card on the digital camera became corrupted. Apologies also, though the pics may actually be better. I can't tell as my eyes are terrible lol. On with the show!

We're at a good stage with these two now and I don't think they'll go too much longer. I had planned on assessing the situation at around week ten but I don't think they'll go that long. The Big Bomb is flying and is just super impressive. I may have mentioned that before but it's something I think needs to be said. It is also starting to pack on the frost which I didn't expect her to do as much. It's not quite as greasy as Bubba but it's still very nice. The smell is becoming more savory now and is like a light cheese. It certainly isn't as pungent as a Cheese but it is but it is losing a bit of the fruitiness that it had before.
The Bubba's Breath is still doing it's thing. One thing of note is that it has bushed back up again and I am looking at her and wondering if I should give her yet another defoliation. I don't know if I can be bothered and might just leave it this time. I certainly can't bend anything now as she has gone absolutely solid. She has a trunk which is the same size as the Big Bomb's and she drinks at around the same rate which is quite impressive. I can't see her yielding the same as the Bomb but I reckon her flowers will have a quality that is second to none....

Big Bomb....

Bubba's Breath....

Flowering Day 21

It's the end of week three for the rest of the girls. I have given the Orange Cane and the Melon Gum a trim as I found a tiny bit of powdery mildew on one of the OC's leaves. I gave them a little trim for ventilation and left it at that. Not much else to report on with these two but they are doing nicely....

The Northern Lights X Skunk is crazy. I have actually given it another trim since these pics were taken as it is yet another super bushy specimen. It looks like it is a week or so ahead as well. Very nice (but little) plant so far....

That Big Bomb is exploding!

No apologies needed for any of it Professor, those flowering plants are doing everything we need!

I don't see any gain in defoliation this late in the game unless you're concerned with mold.

My personal take is that PM doesn't give a toss about your ventilation. Ventilation can help with mold, but when I get PM it's on open leaves on the outside of the plant. As long as the spores land and the environment is copacetic, it will take hold.

Citric acid spray would be my suggestion.

Pink tent is looking grim man. Reminds me of my childhood. Have to mention that I had a good one though. Just played a lot of Diablo II :D
Lol. I was one of those kids who was always a console or 2 behind. My parents got me a Commodore 64 when the Snes came out. It was one of the reasons why I used to get beaten up so much.

BOOOOOM! You wanna see her today, which you (hopefully) will shortly.

You know me. I'm always concerned about mold. The conditions aren't in molds favour at the moment but things are starting to heat up again. I will probably just let her be.

Don't want things getting copacetic again. Not after that last debarcle!

Citric acid it is then.

We have a Commodore in storage along with an Atari 2600 , nes, snes, N64,PS,PS2,Gamecube,Dreamcast,Genesis, Xbox,Xbox360. I think that is all. A bunch of handhelds too. All but one systems is in good condition.
Still behind with the new ones. I just finally got a PS4 and Xbox 1S.
Been playing AC Origins and Horizon Zero Dawn for the last few months.

Congrats on the bag seed. I hope you get two impressive phenos of the female persuasion.

Plants are looking great. Bubba's Breath is really nice looking plant.

Jeez Louise! Do you live in a pawn shop or something?

Weed and video games use to compliment each other perfectly. That was before kids though. The problem with modern games for me is that you can't just pick up the control and have a five minute session anymore. It'll take me 10 years to complete RDR2 at that rate lol. Just in time for the next installment.

The bag seeds are cool. I find it oddly exciting and satisfying growing unknown genetics. Unlike with the recent landrace's I know roughly what to expect so I'm not as anxious.

Bubba is a dirty girl lol.

Hope you're good VG, I'll be over to check out what youve been up to shortly. I've been given some free time lol.

I forgot about my WIIs and Switch.

We are a family of gamers and nerds. I've been playing since I was five and games kept this lonely kid entertained and out of trouble. Bf started really young too.

I would have an arcade if I could. I really would.

I'm actually running a pair of GDP regs right now. Haven't run regs since my very first grow. I may actually have some viable pollen this summer.

Did you enjoy the Wii? I just felt a bit vulnerable and exposed when I used to play it lol. I was always more of a single player gamer and enjoyed games with good stories. Things like the old Final Fantasy's and Metal Gear series. I don't like the modern crowd games like COD and Fortnite. I can't seem to connect with those sort of games.

GDP from @Weed Seeds Express?

Flowering Day 49

So with this update we are back and fully up to date. The pics are from this afternoon.
Both the Big Bomb and the Bubba's Breath have stepped it up a gear this week. A couple more weeks and then we are done with the first round. The pistils are rapidly changing colour on most of the flowers and I have been checking for amber trichs but can't find any just yet. So we will wait and keep doing what we are doing. I may reduce the Big Bomb's nutrient strength slightly as she is getting a little tip burn but other than that things look pretty good. She has begun to collapse which is something I will have to address but I'm not worried about that too much.
The Bubba's Breath looks strange and beautiful. She is so fat but I don't think she will have huge flowers or anything like that. She may do but I think that she is going to have a lot of sugar leaf flowers which will be drenched in crystals. One thing for sure is that she will smell and taste amazing. I can't see her being for the faint hearted either and imagine that she will be potent but that is just speculation at the moment.
So time for some pics. I have too many today so here you go. Enjoy....

As a family console, yes. As something that I would play alone...not so much.
It's great for kids and kids games.

I don't play a lot of MMORPGs I agree about Fortnite etc.

I play a lot of open world action types, smaller offline RPGs and strategy games.

I did really enjoy Breath of the Wild for Switch. Okami is an older game that was revamped but is still one of the most beautiful and bizarre games out there.

Bf just picked up some crazy Star Wars Squadron game. It's not arcade and it's not a hardcore pilot simulator but it somewhere in the middle and is cool af. We are all big Star Wars fans here.
