ProfessorFlora Presents: The Flowering Inferno

Congrats on dropping a cbd, I find it’s really good to have some on hand, like emergency supplies. I’m a big fan of Crockett family farms, so that’s an eeeasy vote for me! Lol, hope all is well Prof and maybe we should get you some of those grippy gloves the next time you’re doing your seed drops?! ;)

Hey HH. I did think of you when I selected the Sour Strawberry. The options were those or a couple Afghaniberry which are limited edition. I went with the Crockett's seeds though because I remember you saying that you really liked them.

The CBD strain really interests me for the effects but the plant looks like it could be quite pretty also. If it turns out that it's not for me then the in-laws can have it lol. I'm sure it'll be fine.

It's getting closer to the end of my first decade of growing and I have noticed that handling seeds is becoming more of an issue. I don't think the gloves will help with precision though lol

Lol, yeah not much help with seed handling, but maybe pot handling? :high-five: Congrats, I can’t believe it’s been a decade!! That’s awesome. I’ll be at three years come July.

I can trace my first bag of soil on Amazon back to January 2013 so we're not quite there yet but it's getting close. Time flies when you're having fun and fighting fungus gnats.
Are you guys worried about autos crossing with photoperiod plants and messing up all our hard work. Sometimes I think people are working backwards... I’m not saying you are. I’m just thinking aloud.
Hey Enjoil. I actually do have an auto finishing up at the moment but I'm not worried about any cross pollenation. It almost never happens to me in any meaningful way. I find the odd seed every now and then but I've never ruined a crop in that way by mistake.

I've never given this a thought. But now that I am thinking about it, I'm almost certain that if such a cross pollination was to happen, it would happen to me first. :laughtwo:

Lmao. Butterfingers.

Happy 10 year Cannaversary (soon)!!!
Like Hybrid, I'm hitting the three year mark.
Based on what they're achieving now, obviously 3 years well-spent for both VG and HH! :Rasta:

You sweet thang!
I simply surrounded myself with some fantastic growers. I'm very lucky to have them.

I actually tried to make some seeds last year and failed. I thought it would have been fool proof allowing a male and female plant to get it on. Apparently not lol.
I was saying you are. But I’m sure with all the people starting to grow without reading anything first is happening. I have the all time best solution for fungus gnats... shop vac!
I am sure that if someone didn't know what they were looking for then accidents could occur. I remember the first time I saw pollen sacks on one of my plants. If was a confusing and worrying moment. Can't remember finding any seeds on any plant in that grow though.

Will you be celebrating together? That could be an awesome party!

I made some beans but I had someone who breeds send me some pollen from one of his studs... it worked good. I only pollenated one clone and got 15 big plump brown striped beans. The first one I popped was twins! My first twins with the first bean that I popped that I actually made on purpose! Lol. I’m excited about the twins. I hope they are girls or at least one is a girl. Here is a pic of them!

Congratulations on the twins. Are you looking to keep any?

I think the reason I failed last year was because of the ridiculously high humidity. I think the pollen degraded really quickly.
It will be 1 year for me May 1st. :battingeyelashes:
That's crazy! Are you sure? Sometimes I lose track of time when eating the brownies.
I think I’ve mentioned it before, I don’t know if you remember Prof; but you were the first one to comment to me when I joined 420.
That has never happened to anyone since lol. I do remember that but it doesn't seem that long ago. I've had a kid since then! Well, not me but you know what I mean.

Here's to many, many more years of growing everyone.
:passitleft: :green_heart:

Flowering Day 1

Yes, that's right. It's flowering day 1 again! The inferno is about to heat up as we add three more plants to the line up. First we have a Northern Lights X Skunk....

Then over in the cupboard we have an Orange Cane (left) and a Melon Gum (right). I promise that the pics won't always be in this red lighting and I will pull them from the cupboard for photos....

Some of you may have been expecting to see a recirculating dripper grow featuring these three plants however there was a tiny hick-up and the forth plant (Rainbow Cake) went and developed some root rot. I removed all of the plants from the system and found all to be infected. So I have spent the past couple of weeks saving these from death and have succeed. The method I used to cure them was to chop off most of their roots, dunk them in bleach, give them a rinse and plant them in some soil. It has worked for all four of the plants and the reason the Rainbow Cake isn't here is that she's just not as good as these three. I'll flower her on her own in the future.
So there you have it. More plants for your viewing pleasure.
sad to hear that but what a save brother. well done.
loved the difference after the clean up pics. they really spread out well. got to love the variety Prof. Nice work.

Digging the black stripes on the Bubba's Breath flowers...noice! And crazy supercrop too. :)

Also, happy almost 10 years Professor! I'll bet you have meat in a pot out back still brewing from back then as well.
I seem to have more success doing it this way.
I think @Carcass should see this as a new way of germinating seeds...might help. ;)
Like Hybrid, I'm hitting the three year mark.
I can't believe I'll be growing four years in June, but then I look at the jars and it seems to make more sense.
