PotChimp's Side Projects

I'd like to have one hooked up to every light I have if they were cheap enough.
They run about $35/each but have some different models with different featurs/functions.

EDIT: Ooops...I might be a little late with that post!
:bong:

That's okay :) I had a feeling somebody had to make them.
I can't get that heat problem under control with the 250w MH. The long, small diameter duct run and the oversized light are too much without adding a bigger fan to supplement the duct run. Everything else is doing fine; it's actually running cool today due to excessive outside heat (A/C is running a lot).
I'm gonna go ahead and buy another smaller LED setup with the hope that it runs cooler than the tube reflector I'm using now (that thing gets hot). It's gonna take about two weeks to have it all done, so I may have to put the start of my next grow off until then. Six regular Apollo 13 f3 seeds, and six regular Nevil's Haze x Apollo 13 f2 seeds. :thumb:

Here's the SP250 I bought. You can see the duct holes in the ends that I stuck the light in because it was too long:

I was thinking of putting a 6" duct on one of those ends, but after a lot of adjustments I realize that any more pull on that plenum isn't happening; everything else will lose airflow no matter how I arrange it. Damn, even after studying the subject I can't seem to get 3 tons of cooling out of a 2-1/2 ton A/C unit! :cough:
The only good looking plant in the pic above was transplanted about a week ago and didn't get rootbound in one gallon pots like the rest of them, which I just now put into two gallon pots.
I just now found me some pandafilm, so I can cover those holes partly. That's cool because I needed it for my t5 grow closet too.

I ordered a TS1000, too. Damn, there's goes my stimulus check :D

:D

You immediately invested it into capital equipment to expand your base of production! That's exactly what they wanted. :slide: :yahoo: :tommy: W00t!

Such a good citizen.

Remember, these diodes put out more than twice the light as CFLs for the same heat/wattage - BIG help with heat. 60% more light (PAR) than old-style HIDs.

We solved that problem when the plague started. We put pictures of our great leader Chongo on billboards and lined them along the beach. He's running for re-election now, so he thinks we're doing it for him. But once a ship gets close enough to our shoreline to see them, the crew becomes violently ill and turns back. It's pretty extreme as far as social distancing methods go, but it works. Almost as well as a good loud fart in the grocery store.

I need to pull this one a little early so I can reveg it. I think I might keep an Apollo 13 f3 from the next grow I'll be doing and pollinate it. All three of them that I grew smell just like the Cannabis Afghanica mother, but this one smells just a little like the Apollo 13 f2 father:

Even the outer leaves got frost :cheesygrinsmiley:
I was going to take more pics, but the red light came on for low battery. Here's one of the four main colas on my Carnival plant:

I'm trying to go by memory, but I'm pretty sure I liked everything I've smoked before that looked like that :lot-o-toke:

Thanks :)
I'm running the LED I just got and set up at 70% on the dial (75% puts the temp at 79.0 degrees F). I'm gonna go check in a bit to see if I got it down to 78.0.
I'll have to do measurements to see if it'll fit, but I'm gonna have to go with this same model # for my locker unless they make a model of the TS600 in the future that has a detachable driver (that light probably gets too warm in a small enclosed area with the driver attached plus it isn't dimmable) and my locker is only about 3 sq.'
100w savings sixteen hours a day, though..... $$
