Don't worry I've got more issues than Reederz Digest but I still make it from day to day :goof: The seeds I just ordered are the first ones I've bought in close to a year. I had a mass of them, but I germinate about 20-30 a month.
I'll have to run those ZDF seeds soon; I've never even heard of that strain before. I'm not a GSC fan, but I like OG Kush.

Remember that horse$hit weed that came around in the late 70s after the good pot disappeared and just before the first crappy hydros (we used to call it homegrown)? :cough: I smell kind of like that now. I hope I don't run into a drug sniffing dog today.

The one thing the good breeders have going for them over the average grower, is that they have the ability to pop a large quantity of seeds at a time to find something special, and/or they have access to elite cuts that the average grower doesn't.

I have not bought seeds in a long while, but I have been super tempted to lately.
 
I am holding off for some 4/20 sales. Going to be checking Ace gear on Seedsman. They have some good deals and their 4/20 sale should be good.

Purple Punch (Larry OG x Grand Daddy Purple) was strain of the year 2018. A lot of breeders went crazy with crosses and a lot of people went crazy buying them (me included). Over the last year or so MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies) has been highly sought after. Really most of the hype strains are cookie variants. I am not sure what the it strain for the year will be but it will probably be another cookie type.

More Cookies - great. I had what I thought was probably some FPOG and I liked it, but any other Cookies I've tried was meh. (We need a shrug smiley).


[Edit] FPOG isn't a Cookies strain. :laughtwo: Could be why I didn't think it was meh.

[Nother Edit] MAC actually looks pretty good - lotta great genetics in there.
 
You are welcome bud! MAC is supposed to be amazing. I have tried growing it but ended up with two males. I had someone offer me the breeders cut (he does not breed with it but it is his personal selection that supposedly does not take pollen well) in a trade but they never came through with it. I can say for sure that it is gorgeous! But most cookie strains are. FPOG is something I have wanted to grow for quite a while but I have not been able to get any seeds yet.

Last time I stuck my snout out for a few minutes and browsed through the ‘hot new strains’ lists I came up with Strawberry Banana as the one I needed, but it was sold out everywhere and I lost interest and spent all my money on other stuff again.
 
I've had a lot of expenses the last six months, so I haven't had the dough to look.
Here's a pic with the flash off and white balance adjusted, but it's too bright; I'll mess with the other settings to see if I can fix that. It's under my 600w HPS, and the colors show better. It's my next Nevil's Haze clone and I started it in bloom today at 15-1/2" tall:

I transplanted it to a 1 gallon pot about a week ago, and just up potted to a 3 gallon pot. And I used chicken $hit for nutes (1/2 cup per gallon of soilless mix).
 
I've been online for days now that the subject of new strains came up, and I've only found a few that seem interesting. I want shut-the-rice-off-and-run, dammit! ;)
As many times as I've complained about the phenos of it I've grown, I think I'll get me some more DrG seeds, along with some Bubba Haze and Killer A5 Haze seeds for my next order.
