PotChimp's Side Projects

A house sparrow got in the house and into my grow area once (probably through the chimney, which I closed off with wire mesh the next day). It was kinda dark and really quiet. I asked myself, "Did I hear something?" A second later a burst of wings; he was coming right at me! :thedoubletake: I about had a heart attack! I've been jumpy about motion in the ol' garden ever since!

Chimp you don't take cuts from all your new plants, you just reveg the ones you want to keep ? I'm thinking about doing that too when I get my new crosses harvested. Well probably towards end of summer.

My question I'm wondering about is what's your success rate with new revegs? It seems easier than keeping a shit load of clones. Thanks bro

If I think I'm going to keep it (I'm not always right; for example this Raspberry Cough plant), I take a clone when the plant's in veg. I'll keep this RC clone alive as a reveg plant until I smoke the buds from it, but I don't think the smoke's gonna be any better this time. But if I like how a plant looks at chop time, I'll leave some of the buds and branches on and reveg it.
I just lost my X-Mas Bud plant in reveg. It was a runt plant, and I decided at the last moment to do the reveg, so I didn't prepare it (water lightly the day before, chop it earlier than normal, and don't give it a dark period). I did that late decision on this Chocolope reveg, too:

It was in like the fourth day of a dark period :cough: I watered it then instead of before the dark period :cough: and trimmed too much away :cough: I think I'm gonna get it, though. I don't lose a reveg too often:

Man, those trichomes are long..... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Here's the next Nevil's Haze clone, going into the bloom tent as soon as it hits 1-1/2 feet tall:

I've got another NH clone I'll be using as a clone mother.
I am excited to see that one grow out because there are a Bunch of us doing a Nevilles Haze grow this coming September. Let me know if you want to get in on it. We are just doing it for fun, No Sponsor just for fun.
