PotChimp's Side Projects

I think I might try it with three Apollo 13 f2 clones (I took too many cuttings of it this last time).
I had to stick my face deep up into that X-Mas Bud plant to water a Chocolope plant in the back of this tent:

I think I might have to change my mind and go with very very piney on that.....

X-Mas Bud plant (I've got two; I might take a clone from this one):

Or I might reveg this very very piney X-Mas Bud plant ;)

Ghost Train Haze #1:

Chocolope:

The lower branches on this X-Mas Bud plant look normal. I might take one as a clone tomorrow; maybe whatever it is that makes the leaves look bad on the older plants hasn't spread into the newer growth yet:

Here's a bud on the X-Mas Bud plant that's further along:

Two Chocolope plants:

Ghost Train Haze #1:

Side by side of both Tikal plants. The plant on the left is the one grown under a 600w HPS, and the one on the right is the one grown under a 315w CMH:

It's hard to tell yield by this pic, because the plants drooped after a week of dark period. I'm going to do a dry weight at the end, but it's my estimate that there's 1-1/2 times as much on the HPS plant as there is on the CMH plant. It worked out that way with the amount on the oval plate I used. The longer flowering period probably contributed to that much of a difference. Maybe if I grew Indicas side by side the difference would be less and the results would be closer due to the shorter flowering times, but from what I've seen so far I doubt it.....
It's as good or better than a 400w HPS though, IMHO.

Here's an example of what you were talking about, Weaselcracker. It's one of my GTH#1 plants, and after looking about halfway browned up and almost ready for chop, it did this:

I just got done chopping a small Cannabis Afghanica plant and a clone from my GDP breeding project that I couldn't get to stop flowering, and both had some grey mold in the thickest center part of the main cola. I take a look at the lowers, and if they look like this.....

..... and the main cola starts getting yellow leaves, it's CHIMPA CHOPPA CHUNGA!!!!!! :lot-o-toke:

Whoa; close one! I thought for sure this Headbanger f2 was a female. I caught it just in time too, no open flowers :thumb:

The other four are female, though (I didn't get a pic of the fourth one):

So far, growing these two Chocolope clones in chicken poop is working out. No spots on the leaves:

I used it on this other X-Mas Bud plant, too:

Closer to chop X-Mas Bud plant buds:

I've got to reveg this GTH#1. It's the second pheno I keep, and I didn't get a clone last time (I just realized about a week ago):

Here's the Apollo 13 f2 male I picked to make me some seeds:

This is a clone of the Apollo 13 f2 I've been keeping for a while now. I shoved it into the male and a big ol' cloud of pollen burst off of it; I shut the door quick:

This Cannabis Afghanica clone is right under that Apollo 13 f2 male:

Free seeds! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Here and there I toss an old freebie in the grow just to use it up. I usually pick older seeds, and this one I think was the oldest I had (Eva Seeds - Monster):

Mendocino Purple Kush:

Another MPK:

Chocolope:

A ratty looking Chemdawg D BX3 plant:

There's about six main colas on this Nevil's Haze reveg:

The first of these two Jack the Ripper x Grand Daddy Purple crosses looks kind of interesting:

PotChimp's Unofficial Smoke Report - Greenhouse Seed Company; Arjan's Ultra Haze #1:

I look at this compared to a lot of Hazes I've grown before, and it looks a lot better:

It's good. I can't say it's not. But I expected.....

Again, it's good, but I wouldn't add a word. Not very good, not really good. Just good.....

Nevil's Haze:

Monster:

Two Mendocino Purple Kush plants:

Chemdawg D BX3:

Chocolope:

I think I'll do about 24 of these 818 Headband x Grand Daddy Purple reg seeds this Winter. Every time I do 6 or less, I don't get the phenos I look for. I can already tell that these two are going to get color, but they don't look like the ones I've grown in the past:

I'm doing two GDP and one Chem D breedings before that though. So maybe about Jan or Feb.
