Playing With Royal Queen Seeds At Otters - An LOS Grow

I'll get the gun before my next grow
Hi Ya Carmen. Those IR guns are handy to have. I use mine all the time for various projects and cooking. It works really well on my outdoor wood burning pizza oven. I also use it for my mushroom growing too. It's a handy tool and really inexpensive.

I may have told you this story already.

I gave my buddy a cut of a strain I thought he would like. It was a clone in LOS and high brix. I gave him specific instructions for water only, as he's a synthetic grower.

Later I asked him how it was doing. He said he had to cull it, so I asked why? I told you water only.

He said he did do water only but something was wrong with it. It looked good but even the bugs wouldn't go near it so he culled it. He'd never seen that before so it wigged him out🤣

I just shook my head.
Up is down, left is right!
Now that is funny , damn bugs want even eat that plant
Must be bad if bugs won't eat em!

Highya SO,

I just looked at the forecast. The next time above freezing up here will be next Friday. And that's only forecast to be 33 degrees. I hope you're not that cold. Canna ladies might not like that!

Seedlings look good. I saw some mottling on some. Has it been a little chilly in there? I grew a couple years inside, but couldn't keep them warm enough. They looked like that early. Picked up great after though. Happy Smokin'
is that what causes the little discolor patches here n there on the leaves? the colder temps? ....hmm..thank you. 🤔👍
the winter storm is hitting tonight.

Plus it will lead to owning a worm farm, and then your one of the Cool Kids🤣
idk how id fair out with earthworms, i can definitely grow slugs!
do you gotta keep your worms warm in the winter?

do you gotta keep your worms warm in the winter?
If it freezes where you are they will freeze to death if you don't insulate their container.

But, there will likely be enough cocoons to repopulate in the spring once temps warm if you don't want to deal with the effort.

Damn auto correct.

I've edited the post if you want to see it make sense.
No, I like it the way it was🤣🤣🤣

FULL WATER DAY

Hi all! 5 days since a good watering it's been. Cups were light, the stick read dry, and they may have been looking thirsty a tad or smidge.

I mixed 1/4 tsp of @DYNOMYCO Spark myco in 1.6 str of ro water and first wet the surface with my syringe a couple times and waited. Then I poured it in to runoff and waited, then did it again. These cups are wet now I think, and chock full of hungry microbes!

Roots are getting into the lower inch of the LOS now. The light went up to 420 pfd for a day or two. We'll see how the late comer does to tell me if I can leave it there. Forbidden Fruit.

VPD is 1.1 right now. It moves and is kind of good this run.

Leaf temp off set of around 2 degrees is happening when I check lately.

They look nice enough today but not as brutish beautiful as two days ago.
