PK Perpetual Grow Journal 2020

question guys;
That Grew brondo stuff made a whole lot of mess and last night i made a new res of water and just dropped in some 99% alcohol and epsom salt and adjusted the ph. I put everything in the res and called a night.
I am not planning on putting z9 in there yet so the alcohol and epsom salt would disinfect everything. However, i know the plant needs to eat and i am wondering if i run into issues if i give it some mega crop part A and some seni cal mixed with the alcohol and epsom salt that is mixed.

In the future peroxide or bleach is much better than alcohol for an application like that. Chlorine is actually beneficial to plants in small quantities and like peroxide tends to migrate out of your res faster than booze. Just an fyi.

lol, i meant 99% peroxide which i call alcohol. Not booze.

I have to say I have never seen 99% H2O2. 35% I think is considered industrial grade.

Doing fine PK. Seemed like an odd call, but I just wanted to say something. If your using high strength peroxide it's very easy to burn the crud out of your roots. 3% not such a big deal
 
99% hydrogen peroxide is rocket fuel. That can't be what you're using whatever you want to call it!

You can't redily buy 99% peroxide. The highest test is about 34, and its still very dangerous.

The Germans used peroxide as an oxidizer for their rockets and their first jet airplanes. Apparently, filling these planes was more dangerous than flying them

ok, 2nd problem. its showing 300 ppm? and all that gonk is now on top of the res water along the side of the bucket
 
ok, now that i've made everyone laugh their pants off. What do i do :nomo:

i didn't add any nutrients and its just that slime stuff
here is a pic of that easy grow stuff that became looking slimmery

Maybe iso, easy grow, and epsom salts don't mix. When I ran my cloninator aeroponic bucket I would just use hydrogen peroxide to clean it.

Does the easy grow completely dissolve when it's on its own in the bucket?

Easy grow was just by it self. the pic above is how easy grow was when i dumped the water out.
Epsom salt was with the iso peroxide mixed with 3.5gallon of water. 1 teaspoon of salt and .5ml of iso peroxide.

the slimy stuff in the tank is because the iso peroxide has cleaned the pibbles and washed all that "brondo" down. although i still see some in there. However, i did not add any nutrients and currently the ppm is at 300ish.

There's no such thing as iso peroxide. You have 99% isopropyl alcohol. Something not normally added to a res.
