PK Perpetual Grow Journal 2020

after they perk up and they get a bit of nitrogen and 18/6 lighting, I have read that they turn around nicely in fact I believe it would be monster cropping if you took clones in first little bit of flower and reverted them back to veg
I've done that but I've stayed away from taking one off the plant thats showing flower form... I've taken a few off a prime example nearing six feet in 5th day of 12/12 but wont take one off her that late for fear of finishing flower and dieing/ end of plants cycle like i suspect might happen here...

This clone was taken off a near 6 foot mother and started off about the size as the other next to it. she's showing off her genetics already and growing like the head chop never even phased her lol.. I think allot also depends when you take a clone and from what part of the plant.. at the bottom youll see 3 leaves and opposite 5 at the bottom node level. next node jumps to 5 next node to 7..

Quick update after transplanting them into their resting fiber pots.
The first picture was before i trimed them. The 2nd/3rd picture is after a hair cut and a bit of training.
I am not using anything in perticular to hold the branches down. I have been pushing branches aside and bending them gently so they can grow the way i tell them too. However, When they get taller i'm sure im gona need to tied them down.

i am really happy with he Hydro TS1000. greet light and the plants seem to love it.

temp/humid 28c/67%
low/high 19c/28c
350ppm water mixture
AC at 24c i keep playing with the temp based on the temprature of the day.

I feel like taking a clone and pushing one plant into flower just to see if its a femail or male.
I dont feel like growing ball sacks.

Don't be timid with'em..lol. Show them who's boss. Canna is freakishly tough. The more you lay them out the fatter them hips will get. More bud site and strong branches. Just my way of doing things. I'm pretty brutal to my ladies. I always opt for twisting, bending, and kinking verses decapitation..lol.
Forced clones is a good idea.

:peace: Nothing is more satisfying than watching your own work grow!! :peace:

Temp/humid 28c/60%
Water mixture feeding is currently at 400PPM (should i start encreasing it slowly? if so what would be the ideal ppm?)
Height of Light from top of plant 20" (I guess i have to start watching the height of the light with these two growing)
Each side of the pot has a holding strap and I have pushed one branch on each side under it to open it more up.
I have to go get some strings so i can start training these two.
Is it too soon to put up a tralos net?

Nice ok very nice

I've used promix and perilite with some additives before. Excellent stuff to grow in. With all I have going I couldn't afford it this time. Maybe next grow. You've got'em moving right along. But that poor dwc. What happened?

With the two plants out growing it, i decided that it was time to let her go.
I think there were few issues. Although i was able to get majority fixed. I couldn't do anythign with the ph. It was just shooting up toward the 8 every god knows how many hours. Lets just say few hours.

I do have to admit tho. Maybe it was me bombing it with different nutrients. MC mixed with mollases is like co.ca on whiski

deffinetly, i start my lst training on the the current girl as soon as i got my two branches.
Her legs has been open all the way

crazy enough the girl got a slice from the harsh trainings. She got sliced where i topped her the first round, but the male never did and i mean i was opening those branches up

I used to run veg lights 24/7 indoors
I noticed my soil is sinking and the roots from the plant was visible so I added some wormcasting soil.
I have also increased my feeding mixture to 650ppm
Tent temp/humity at 79f/42%
Low/high temp 75f/82f

Now i been reading allot of posts and i am unclear about the light switch.
Some say turn the light of for 24 hour prior to switching to 12/12.

.I used to run a 24/7 cycle all through the veg stage. Never had any adverse effects. Some may disagree but I got some rapid growth. I'd get them up into the screen and at least 1/3 full before flowering. Then train the for a few more weeks and leave them alone.

nice yard!! the clones are showing new leaves growing. However, its not from the top of the plant but from the main stem. i guess as long as there is growth then its all good.

Bubblers are fantastic tools for rapid growth on e your dialed in. Flush Dem rocks good before ya use them and ya gotta ease into the feeding routine until they start screaming for food. It's good youve culled her out. Now you can conentrate on those other beautiful plants.

ya, i've read that in few places while i was researching my way through.
I've got the clones and the seedlings under a 24h led and they will be under that light until veg. in veg they go under a 18 hours of light and take 4 hours off. Few reasons i am doing it this way. One the electricity bill is hitting the roof and secondly i feel that even the sun goes down and we have night fall. There must be a scientific reason behind that.
I just never listened in school

i start feeding them as soon as i top them. lol and i topped my current one at the 3rd node. I knew it should of been the 5th one but i got impatiant and forced it to develop more branches by topping her.
With my tent size and the lights and filters I was hesatating and needed to figure when to top. so i just did it one day lol

It is not recommended by many people but it will not kill your plants. But I understand the energy bill thing. Whatever works for you. Playing God in a 2x2 is a blast isn't it.

It sure is more challanging as you notice the temps and humidity drops quickly vs if the space was bigger

I take off any branches that don’t make it up the canopy. I usually wait for the plant to finish stretch before I clean it up
Yeah that really helps airflow and shifts all the energy up top where it's needed.

I think the reason I dabbled with clones was about having "Yield Insurance" in case I come up light .. If those 5 new clones perform half as well as these 3 mature plants then I'm gonna have serious issues finding a place to store it all..
A large tote with a led shop light on top works in a pinch. Just throw it in a closet.
