Thanks, Bear. Nice to see you!

I will be watching your cloning very closely. This is something I've yet to perform and can't wait!

I do have 5 or so harvests in a bag in the freezer but I think for the first go around I will be using a half ounce of bud instead.

Edibles have never had a positive effect on me. I don't know if people have known what to do but, It's always a dud and a waste of herb. I never feel anything so I'm going to go balls to the wall and see if I can induce coma :p

MUAH!

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

heya pidge,, i just had my first good experience from edibles,, plain ole butter cookies,, my 3rd attempt,, like you, i had not had much response so far from the first two batches,, the second batch i used near 50 grams of dried leaf material i have been collecting since i started growing, ,:scratchinghead:,

the third time i went all in and used near 100 grams,, oh, should say,, for a half pound a butter,, and i started eating two at 10 or so in the morn,, and had maybe three/four more throughout the day,, i felt it kick in about 2 in the afternoon and i could/did not stop talking till two in the morning,,:theband:

the mood was right and there was some alcohol involved as well, but,, this was 'absolutely' different,, so,, i will test again this weekend,,

cheers pidge

sue, i have been having an awful time with clones lately,, not sure why,, good luck with yours,, oh, and training is easy as heck and 'funner' than heck,, cheers,, top earliesh, imo

Whaaaa? You two, the infamous Sue and Pidge, haven't cloned yet!? I have faith you'll both get the hang of it in no time! It really is much easier than people make it seem, and it definitely has several advantages over growing from seed. It's quicker, you know what your plant will turn out like, and it's cheap!

I'm enjoying what you've got going on here Pidge - with lots of colorful followers! :thumb:

 Oh Jojo. This tickled my heart. I appreciate the confidence! Please don't be fooled by my wreck less approach to trying to obtain the heights that this magazine makes look so easy.

I've spent hours upon hours reading some incredible journals by some of the most inspirational members both present and no longer here. I came to this magazine a year ago. You can follow my entire level of experience through failure and success by trudging threw my journals. I try not portray myself knowing anything more than I honestly do.
I learned very early on that I wouldn't survive in this website pretending to know anything I don't. But I am really good at spreading love and I am overwhelmed by the amount of loved that's shared in return. That's what I get the most from this place.

I consider Susan as close as a mother and we have been through a lot in our grow rooms. We love to share our experiences and desire to learn from the best of the best. We're fortunate that others are so willing to share their information and experiences with us. And I often think that this is what gives this kinda false idea that we are masters of the craft. And, I think I speak for both of us when I say, we still have SO much to learn even the little stuff ;)

Can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your presence here Jojo! Make yourself comfy

Forget leaves when you make butter and use good buds, at least an ounce per pound of butter. You won't believe the effect. Only eat one. Take my word.

Nivek, go talk to TOAST about clones. He does them in those little rooting plugs, I don't know what they're called, but everyone uses them.. and keeps them in plastic bags. Amazing success rate and simplicity itself. I highly recommend you look him up. He'll be thrilled to advise and guide you.

Infamous. That's rich. :laughtwo: I have so much to learn. I've only been growing for a year now. I've just begun to scratch the surface, but I study hard and learn quick. Thanks for the giggle.

I believe my experiences haven't been pleasant because people don't decarboxylate the herb first. And if the herbs not activated then what's the point?

I also like to use my harvest trim for BubbleHash!

I like the idea of an ounce to a pound of butter! I've never really known what levels to add. But that's a reasonable place to start! The Magical butter maker is a dream! Easy to use and easy to navigate the website for all the best stuff!

Nice big butter update in the morning!

I, like Jojo, find it hard to believe that you two have never cloned before ? I have tried many ways to clone, some successful others not.
It's pretty hard to beat Rockwool cubes for simplicity. Plenty of info available her thats for sure !! Some of my cloning attempts have worked really well others not. Bubble cloners work well but depend on the correct temps. I have also had a try with aeroponic cloning, hit and miss, clogged jets were my problem. It's all fun, and gives you a buzz when you see those first roots. Good luck mate, i'm sure you'll nail it !!

I will definitely keep that in mind. I don't think I have to much to worry about. I'm surrounded by the best of the best. The people around here are very talented and I know that I'm in the right hands!
