Pigeons420 Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Haha actually I don't think it will!

That was a bit of a realization I had to make the other day. Because it's frustrating that I'm constantly changing things to get it right. It felt embarrassing when I was ripping apart the cabinet I specifically constructed (poorly) for vegging. And I built it not a month ago in anticipation for these little ones. Granted it was just a piece of shit TV cabinet that I recycled and it was full of leakages and not vented properly.

Just remember every thing you do is worth it! The girls will thank you for it.
It's funny coz I do exactly the same thing !!

So temperatures are consitant. 86 in the veg room and 88 in the flower room. People would freak with temps that high. But I'm dancing for joy to see them that low!!

It might be a little to early to tell but maybe everything is going to work out! It's a feed day tomorrow so I'll bring an update!

Love you guys. Keep safe out there

**Friday Update**

Happy Friday, Everyone!

Bit rainy here with some cooler temperatures. Makes for great grow room conditions. We've been under a bit of a heat spell over the last few weeks, so it's nice to be a bit cooler.
Had a great sleep last night, knowing that everything was safe and sound in my rooms. I didn't have to race out of bed to open the cabinet cause it would be too hot. I strutted down with coffee in hand and looked in, it was so nice.

I hope everyone has an idea of how their going to spend their weekend. I hope we take this time to embrace the ones we love and remind them that there's a reason their in your life. As part of this magazine we are surrounded by people that are in much more delicate situations then ourselves and we should appreciate what we have and who we're surrounded by. It's not to late, send a hug and a kiss to the people you love!

***MUAH*** Love you guys!

GROW ROOM

FLOWERBOMB KUSH(week 10)

Enjoying her last little bit of moisture until harvest. She's drying up a bit slower then I expected so, harvest might not be until early next week, hopefully Sunday.

MATARO BLUE(week 10)

Finally starting to show some signs of slowing down. I can see her hairs started to recede and turn orange and her trichomes are doing exactly as they should. I'm seeing less clear, many more milky and the odd amber. She hasn't been eating for 2 weeks already so, anything she is feeding off of is from her reserves. Hence, the quick yellowing.

VEG ROOM

So nice to have this! I hope my space here will be something permanent. Temps are a bit warm as I mentioned earlier but the plants are acclimated to rather high temperatures already so, they should be ok.

Jackelopes are pretty well the greener of the bunch. I'm not to sure if because their primary light is different from my fems is causing them to stunt and yellow out. or if it has to do with my nutrient applications. (2 so far)

Well that's all for today and probably the weekend. My son will be home for the next 2 weeks because his daycare is on holidays (so convenient). So, I've been planning some events to keep us occupied. Unfortunately those plans don't include taking long walks through my garden and keeping my fellow gardeners up to date. haha. I try and avoid all electrical usage when we're together. Aside from the occasional television show. He's only 4 so, I believe it's important for us to explore our environment and get outside and enjoy what our planet has to offer. Cause it's so beautiful. I think we should all do the same...

Get out to those contests this month people. Their are some unbelievable sights to be seen and some pretty awesome people up for member of the month. GO VOTE!!

Looking great Pigeons. It's a wonderful feeling when you upgrade something that you've been putting up with for too long. Only so much time in life though hey?

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Have a splendid stretch of Daddy/Son time. Take frequent exploratory walks and roll around in the dirt. It passes so quickly it takes your breath away.

It's good you have such a firm grip on your priorities.

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

That's so awesome Pigeons. Even in the time when I was forced to live in the city I made crazy efforts to take my kid to any little scrap of nature we could find. If kids are to be our hope in the future they should know what nature is. Pretty sad that a lot of them don't. It's kind of funny though - because all the work I put in taking him to all those places before he was four or five, finding animals and picking berries and stuff - he has absolutely no memory of any of it now. I know it's all in there somehow. If they are happy, you're doing it right!

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

I can tell you're a great father!

I'm not even worried about the memories of it. To me it's more of building character. Even though I don't think he'll remember, it's the experience that's building him into the person he's becoming. I think of childhood and parenting as a pyramid of blocks. The bottom represents the foundation of what we're all meant to be and everything we go through as children and kids. As you progress up the pyramid we become adults. But we're only as good as the foundation below us. Whether we remember or whether it's something distilled into our blood. Those experiences below make us better people.

He's not going to remember those little times. But what he'll never forget is that daddy provided him everything he could ask for for as long as he can remember. And he'll be a better person because of it.

I suppose it's different for each strain but THC typically starts to form around week 4 of flower. But it depends on the strain.

Are you getting those temps with just your fan? How didn't get so low?

You know, I'm headed down there night now to get some details.

Ok so I have five 23W 2700K and one 40W cool white.

Yea it's a bit much but I thought it was sufficient for all these girls. Think it's too much?

THC starts from the beginning. It increases dramatically in bloom, but I've made oil from early leaves and it definitely packed a punch.
I don't think the amount of light is too much. It is the spectrum. You have 5 warm bulbs and only 1 cool. For veg, I'd think you'd want mostly (or all) cool.
:high-five:
