Pigeons420 Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Thanks guys!

She sure has come a long way since her spindly days haha.

This is a shout out to Stage because his plant has inspired me to create something as beautiful as that! He might see this message. He use to stumble through here every now and again!

So in order for her to be a monster I will continue to keep her in veg for a couple weeks. Maybe a few. We'll see.

Thanks Stage for creating a fire of inspiration within the magazine!!

VEG ROOM UPDATE

Here's the excitement I get to wake up to every morning. I have such a big smile on my face when I open the doors down here. So much to see and touch. I get so much joy from this hobby it's a shame I can't do it outside!

I did some transplanting and training today. Had the veg girls out for a stretch at the watering hole. Have them all a good sip. Then tucked them away for a couple days. I'll see them Thursday.

Here they are!

***FLOWER ROOM UPDATE***

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Just going to throw a quick update out here. I've got so much in store over the next couple days I'll be a busy little bee.

Everything is working out. I've kept with just using the Bloom A&B and it's working fantastically. I've got the 1000W up and running and it makes me smile to see everything working together smoothly. Here's a peak!

I agree! I've had great results with sending flowers into bloom at this height and I think I'll always have one or two that will flower out with out any training. They're such beautiful plants. It's nice to see them in their natural form.

:high-five:

Thanks Shiggs!

High Pidge!
Thank you for the shout out on the potm thread. I apologize for being scant these days in your love filled yard.:circle-of-love:
I have been busy transitioning to off mode and it's a bit like rehab! :)
I am so so humbled at the response I get from the members reaction to Ms. Bubblegummy-zilla since I entered the contest.
Your response was priceless as was SweetSue's! I will take my old seat on the left.
I got to see what you grow when you are inspired!

No need to apologize my man! I know you're busy.

I'm excited to see if I can do something as marvelous. My efforts will be put toward Pineapple Express. She will be my attempt to create something as worthy!

You deserve all the praise my man! The proof is in your handy work!

A classic case of overwatering

As important as watering is I feel it's important to show a case of over watering. It's a common mistake that can have implications that can seriously affect your plants.
At a young stage, overwatering can stunt your plants. And at anytime too much water could lead to mold. It's safe to say that less water is better then too much water.
Take a look at what over watering looks like.
image5447.jpeg

Over watering and under watering have similar affects on the plant. They looks droopy. The difference is, when under watered, the soil is dry and light and the leaves aren't has heavy. They flop because they're is no support in the leaves.
Over watering, the soil is wet and the leaves are droopy but heavier.

How do I know for sure that it's an overwatering and not something else?

They're all droopy after a big watering. Take a look

Hope this helps the next time you walk into your garden and everything's all droopy. It could be as simple as too much or not enough water.

'the big droop',, a topic rerely mentioned,, goog on ya pidger,, :high-five:

I think rarely talked about because it is rarely seenz,, maybe not rarely, but not too often,, well, maybe not too often but maybe seen a bit,, ha

Maybe because of thorough drying between, then as pidge said, a big watering/drenching, which is how I do my watering,,

Two hours after comes 'the big droop',, plants look so cool,, all saggy and sad,, but by morning,, wow, brand new day indeed,, :cheertwo:

It's the two hours after that causes the droop not to be noticed so much, I think maybe

Could be a movie,, cheers pidger

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

I normally face the problem of under watering. Which is just as bad when done all the time. I've gotten myself paranoid when it comes to feeding and watering my plants because of the last round of girls that didn't respond well to the abundance of my nutrients. So, now I often under water them. I'm still working on a lot of things. Got lots to figure out for myself yet.

Let's make a movie Nivek!
