Piña's Gone Posh: 2nd Journal, 1st Tent

So quick update time, the girls are doing grand.

001.JPG

There's been some real growth since Sunday :D.

I'm really pleased there's no sign of any stress. Temps in the tent are still on the high side with lights on. Nothing I can do about it until Autumn decides to show itself around here.

I gave them another small watering tonight, sooner than I'd have liked, but with the higher temps I figured they might need it. I think a lot of the waters evaporating rather than being drunk anyway.

Cheers for dropping by

:Namaste:

My temperatures got away up to 31c a little while back and I was veging 5 blueberry seeds from a hermie it was actually like that from the day I planted them and they all grew very well. Lol I only got 1 girl out of the five and gave it to a friend before flipping the light. I guess correct temperatures are more important for Bloom than Veg?

Hey
:420:hope everyone's doing good this Friday Eve. Everything's going good round here.

Autumn has arrived. The past couple of days have seen a welcomed slight drop in temprature. My tent's no longer hitting 30c :D, only 29c lol. No room to turn the lights up yet, but we're getting there.

In lieu of turning them up, I've lowered them slightly. The girls are looking mature enough to handle it, I hope :p. I'll check them before bed, and in the morning. I'm fairly sure they're going to love it.

I resisted the urge to water, I think they can wait. I'm going to see if they can make it until Saturday, make them look for it.

I'm still not sure when to do the re-pot. This weekend and get it over with, or the one after when they're a little more established. Anyone got any thoughts ? It's something I've always managed to avoid in the past and have no experience with.

Cheers for stopping by

:Namaste:

Happy weekend
:420:hope everyone's good. Time for a Saturday update, day 14 already. Growing sure makes you aware of the passage of time. Not always sure this is a good thing :bongrip:.

I decided to re-pot the girls, and get it out of the way. Here they are awaiting their fate

002.JPG

Looking good and healthy. The soil had shrunk back from the sides of the pots, I figured this might help get them out. I'm not so sure it did, but it's the thought that counts.

Having never re-potted in the past, I'd never had the oppurtunity for this view until the end of a grow.

As you can see I struggled to get this shot in focus with one hand. I find it amazing the plant can grow so much in such a short amount of time.

Here they are back in the tent.

006.JPG

Let's hope they can keep their happy, upbeat look in spite of their recent adventure.

I watered a little, but tried to keep to the outside of the new pots. Thinking it might encourage them to get over it, and get on with the business of growing.

Thanks for looking in.

:Namaste:

Looking forward to seeing them pack on the bud lol

As am I :rollit:

Just a quick update tonight. The girls seem to have coped with Saturdays upheaval.

Can't see any sign of complaint. I've not told them there's no water until Wednesday yet. That might have tipped them over the edge. :D

In the meantime the Amnesia stepped up for a solo shot.

Think everything's going OK for now.

Thanks for stopping by.

Good evening
:420:we have made it over the hump :D, Friday here we come.

looking good pina. still no idea how to get the accent on the "n" tho lol

nor have I. :D It comes from years ago when I joined up. Had a PC with Win 7 in Spanish, and a keyboard to match . Think I can get one on my smartphone, but PC no idea.

Looking great! Like I said before lol can't wait.

Funny you say that. You might not have to lol

So on with my update. Where to begin....

Well the girls have been left to their own devices. I mean I've checked the tent and had a looksee, but they've had no water since Saturday. Tonight the pots were very light, so time to quench their thirst. 1L water, with 1ml BioBizz grow, and 1ml of Cal Mag.

015.JPG

Amnesia doing great, no sign of issues all good.

014.JPG

Honey Peach Cream, no issues as such, although I do have my suspicions.

016.JPG

Lastly we have the Blueberry. Peppers I think you have your wish. I thought something was up last night, today I'm sure it's started to flower. Even the lower leaves are going pale lol. Don't know why that should be, there must be loads of food in that soil, it's brand new .

Just to put it in perspective

011.JPG

She might be 3" tall, MIGHT lmfao.

Looks like she's aiming to be entered as Plant and Bud of the Month, with the same photo. :D

The seed was a freebie, from a local breeder so can't complain. Although he may still have some work to do on his breeding technique.

I'm more concerned that the Honey Peach Cream might be going the same way. Not sure yet, but it looks possible.

I grew Honey Peach at the start of the Summer, mid May outside. I don't have any photo's, but it only grew to be a foot tall, with a yeild of 10 - 14g dry. It had no issues to stunt it, that's just the way it happily grew lol. Thought it might have been a freak, but maybe not.

I'm not bothered, I had to use the odd seeds that had gathered in the fridge before buying more. (so the wife said). It's all growing experience, and next grow I'll invest some money in seeds. I'm thinking Dark Devil, and one other :p

Most importantly, there are no boys (yet)

Cheers for stopping by

:Namaste:

Alas they are Auto's and they're getting 16hrs of light.

This Summer's been my first experience with them, and this is the first time I've grown them inside.

Don't think it'll be the last either. I'm not too impressed with the tent, and have very little faith in it's ability to produce a decent dark period.

Good job it's not a boat, it leaks like a sieve

Happy Friday
:420:hope everyone's set for a good one.

Time for a quick update, I've watered the girls again tonight. Sooner than I'd wanted, but the pots were really light and it's been warm again.

002.JPG

The Amnesia has shot up since Wednesday, but think she may be suffering with heat a little. The leaves are showing signs of tacoing, so I've raised the lights slightly. I'll see if I can get a fan in there over the weekend, that might help too.. I'm not planning on doing any training with her, I don't think space is going to be an issue with the other 2 girls.

003.JPG

There they are, such monsters lol. I'm fairly certain the Honey Peach is flowering too. Tomorrow will only be day 21. They're in such a rush to grow up :p. The cheeky buggers are starting to smell a bit, nothing too bad yet. I really don't want to use a carbon filter for this tiny amount of bud.

At least the Blueberry's trying to get some altitude, although she's a lot shorter than the Amnesia. The Honey Peach wants to stay below the edge of her pot.

Cheers for stopping by

:Namaste:
