Can't input amount of power into LEDs or they wouldn't last a year. Light emitted would still be the same. Go to this link and read some of the posts. Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion Read and you will get good information. I bought my Mars II 700watt for over $305 and I think the sale has them at $288. I think 400 watt is under $200. I wouldn't get anything but a 5 watt LED. And I like mine so much that I would buy it again and I just might. 900 or 1200 watt next time.
 
Same here. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. That's what the big thing with led is, is that you can get quality bud with less power. Plus the nugs are more dense and supposed to produce more trichomes under led. 5 watt has some awesome penetration
 
Yea I'm def lookin into led. The hell don't they call them 200s and 400s if that's what they are. I'd be pretty pissed to buy a mustang v8 only to find out its only got a v6, "But it says v8 on the side man." That wouldn't float now would it?
If yer selling me a 200w light that does what a 400w does, thats fine but it still runs at 200w. I don't need to be lied to lol. Some people do math when figuring things out for loads for breakers lol this goes for all equivalent things companies label. Not just talking about lights lol

It's all good. I think they did that just so people know what it compares to since hps is considered the standard. But yeah, it is confusing having to find true wattage.

I can't even think of a new light till after the summer. If I didn't get my lights given to me I would have bought led back then. And not spend money on bulbs. Spent almost 300on bulbs in the last year. 2 400w mh , 2 1000w hps. Hydro shop here is highway robbery. 25 bux for GH micro pint. 1000w's were over 100 each.

Question- when you are close to harvest, and you wanna go from 12/12 to 11/13, is it more important to keep lights on at same time or lights off?
 
The numbers come from 80x5w diodes equals 400 running at 50%= 200w or there about's.
 
I'd take the hour off at end of the day as to have the plant think the days are shortening.

It's like everything electronic... "potential" it's not equivalent. All LED grow lights are rated by potential. The brightness of the light would only be 10% higher if they powered the diodes at their full current potential. But they wouldn't last long enough to make customers happy, $300 for a light that lasts less than a year. I'd rather use 60% input power to get 90% of the potential light, photon, power of the diode. You can't see that 10% difference.

it is an alcohol based liquid. Soak the material, bud or leaf I don't know, in alcohol for a while. The stuff I had was in rum. Spray in mouth under tongue. Tasted like rum smelled like bud. I had to drink a whole bottle when I was at Vegas airport when I was chosen for a full search. I wreaked of cannabis. Blew it in the TSA's faces. My eldest son was married in Vegas. Had to trash the bottle. Too bad it was from my friend's dispensary.
