And, for the record wildjim, photoperiod plants don't take any more space (and not too much more time) than autos. You may know that, but your comment made me want to clarify.
 
I totally agree Stumped. Getting a perpetual going, though, could take more space depending on what you really want to do and for cancer treatment (and epilepsy), you need larger amounts of product to be able to refine what you need from it anyway.

Depending on needs, I would set up my largest, best-ventilated area for flowering and keep a closet or something for veg and/or moms. Veg for at least 4 weeks and put them into flower. Wait a month and pop a few more seeds. After 4 weeks, the first crop should be ready (or close to ready anyway) and off you go.
 
Getting ready to start my first hempy grow. It will be a NLxBB auto. I plan on spraying part of this one with colloidal silver to get some fem seeds. You can see the bucket. I put a paint strainer bag in like I do with my tomato plants. See them behind? They already have two sets of blossoms. I have to put up the cable today and attach the strings to them for support. I'll be eating tomatoes soon! Yum...

Looking good wildjim! Glad you're gonna get your hempy on. So did you buy or make your colloidal silver?
 
Willow bark will help, but do yourself a solid and get some rooting gel/powder. Easy to use, easy to store and it goes a loooong way so you'll have it for a long time too.

I have all the stuff and I'm going to make it. I have a TDS meter, the silver, the alligator clips and the batteries. They aren't alkaline batteries but three of them'll work. I have four.
Finally got my cable replaced this morning and now have the string trellises on the tomatoes. The wife helped me. She works 3 - 11 tonight.
 
Thank you guys! I would say two weeks left, but with no info on the strain, I'll have to play it by ear. As far as I know it's supposed to be sour skywalker, but there's always a chance it could be blue dream. I had a few seeds of each and thought for sure that's the bag it was in. I got lazy and threw a bunch in paper towel and germinated. Then did my best to try and remember which is which. I've been watching the hairs and trichs, but hope to harvest soon.
 
always best to let it go to it's own conclusion, you harvest too early and you could end up with some weak smoke. an idea might be to harvest one small bud when you think it's ready, rapid dry it and have a chong, then you'll have a fair idea if it's ready or not. (factoring in curing and whatnot)
 
Well I do have a toaster oven, so might try it that way. I know this plant smells like sour lemonheads, and hope the final product will taste as good as it smells. Quick dry will taste bad and burn harsh, but I'll make that sacrifice for the good of the girl lol. Why didn't anyone tell me waiting is the hardest part. Growing and raising my son have helped me become a more patient person. I know they still have some fattening up to do. Backbuilding helped the look of it a lot.
