Peyton's Sour Sky Hempy Grow 2014

Very nice, frosty nugs on that plant Peyton. Even if you chopped it today, I seriously doubt you'd have weak smoke. Also, I wouldn't let the leaves not changing colors cause you to wait too long. Check the trichomes brother. My last grow I let them go only a few days past what the breeder recommended. None of the leaves were dying and they are potent. There was only a sparse amber here & there when I harvested and still many that were clear (most were cloudy). I've no doubts it could have gone a few more days or even a week, but I'm not disappointed at all. It's better smoke than what is readily available around me at any time.

Regarding the rooting gel. Give Remo's Roots a try. I've never cloned myself, and of the two growers I know that do, one switched to Remo's a couple months ago and says he's had 100% success. I was excited for him and asked what his success rate was before he switched and he said...about 100%...ffs. But he still likes it, and recommends it.
 
Awesome. I'll put remos on my list for next order. I'll be keeping an eye on the trichs for sure. The buds have been filling in nicely from backbuilding, but still haven't started to swell up.
 
Just took a photo of the string trellis the wife helped me with a couple hours ago. She wouldn't let me climb 3 step ladder to put the cable back up. I keep adding clips as the plants grow to keep them straight up.
I sure wish I lived in California, I would grow my meds like this. I get great tomatoes, nearly a pound apiece. Probably near 400 pounds a year. Give away a bunch. I can imagine the cannabis.

I sure am going to try. Wife wants me to move my tent to the basement. I want to H2O2 clean the tent before I put anything in it. I am also going to put some legal plants in it to grow to give away. Started seeds three days ago. 6 have popped so far. Got them under my 2 foot four bulb T5 I use for vegging veggies. Texas Star Swamp Hibiscus, Google it for pics. Looks surprisingly like cannabis. Until it flowers. 10" red flower. Someone cut half of a leaf one year. Father-in-law swears it's marijuana. It grows at the end of my driveway. Friend of wife gave it to me.
 
I usually order it from Amazon. The local hydro store is a ripoff, 12 bucks for 1 cubic foot. I'll see if we have a coop nearby. In a small town, I like to order online. No questions asked, nobody to see my face for any reason

I got that, anonymity is wise. Try to find a farmers coop. talk about growing tomatoes in your greenhouse. Seems like all hydro stores are. Most of what I buy is also from Amazon and e bay. I got my Mars 2 from Sara's e bay store. I noticed the price went down about $15 for the 700 watt.

It don't take any space to do a scrog. That cabinet the plant is in is only 24 in x 24 in. Currently building a bigger room for two plants. It's good to get some positive feedback on it, cause I'm not sure what to expect on first grow.
 
Cloning I've tried bubble, rockwool, peat and soil. Rock wool and stimroot powder so far I get 100% survival. Works for me on this strain. I've herd people prefer gel and some powder. I was cheap and said "give me the cheapest shit ya got" 6$ later I got good cloning going lol just wish I didn't need to buy rockwool, and just use soil.

Bubble works well too. No root compound just 75c water stems scraped and submerged, with an airstone . I got about 75% survival rate
 
Yeah I'd love to have constant supply. Gonna get some rooting compound and try to use my jiffy pellets with it. Got a pack of 50 of them, and I'm super cheap/poor lol. Everytime I look at my plant, I look at someone else's and mine just seems so small. Guys got colas as tall and fat as cans, and mine can only hide a bic lighter.
 
Make sure and study up on topping and training. When that plant lays flat before the flip, it won't look like much of anything, but boy does it take off. Lots of tucking and defol for me. And that single cola looks good from where I'm sitting. Wondering how much it will weigh
